Maxwell Uchiha Blood, Fear, Power "It’s not that complicated, but you had better believe… " Max walked into the waterfall area and could not help but have is mood brighten slightly at the mist of the falls hitting his burns. He walked with purpose. Most of his injuries had clotted and the burn line across his right cheek was oozing a little but he had grown used to the pain.
Max walked up to the mizukage and spoke, his deep voice tired, and slightly annoyed. "That technique is a b***h to counter. Just got to figure that out the hard way. I have important news to report." "they’ll put me down in a hole before I let you succeed! I’ve never been complacent. I can’t afford to be."

████████████████████ ███████████████ {❊} ██████████ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx↳ ❝MI YOUNG ROO ❞ xxxxxxxmizukage Mi froze in place, a familiar voice sounding in her ears. She had told the Anbu to immediately inform her when these select few had arrived in the village but a las here stood Max before her. Mi was suddenly overjoyed that they were back. She hadn't slept much since their departure and had been keeping busy the entire time. As she took in Max's condition, her exuberance turned to worry. He was injured, and badly. '"You're hurt!" She pointed out immediately, the greatest understatement ever. She grabbed a hold of his arm lightly and steered him back to the shore. Closing her eyes briefly, she sent a pulse of her chakra into his body, searching out any anomalies. He had an infection in his system, at the beginning stages. She looked at the burns on his body, the gravity of the situation bearing down on her. It was her fault. She had thrown them out to the sharks. Accumulating an aura of chakra around her hand she moved it over his right cheek to tend to the most immediate of wounds. Some of the others were going to need burn ointment. The plants in those ointments help to heal the skin and return moisture to it. Aloe plant was very useful to the human body. 'You should have had my receptionist send someone to summon me. Let's go to my office, I have some ointments for your burns." Mi said, steering him along.

Giving the mist an almost umphiereal feeling. He kept his breaths even as he pumped more chakra into the air as the temperature began to drop [6/10] [1/5] Cool dark crystals began to form on his shoulders as tiny flecks of ice formed. He smiled wildly as the crackle of ice ran down his arm. It was cool but he could not feel the harshness of the ice nor its cold. [7/10] [2/5] The water was frozen yet a liquid. The temperature of the air around the waterfall had dropped significantly and yet he felt no change. It must have been a product of his bloodline. He was glad that he had the Hyuoton kekkai genkai. Its bonus' were in-numerable. [8/10] [3/5] His dark green chakra formed around the base once more freezing it solid. The ice raced along the water that flowed from the waterfall and into the river. Turning a good sized chunk of it into ice cool and blue. Solid and motionless. [9/10] [4/5] Alex stood and stepped out of the waterfall as the endless stream of water crashed down upon the ice below. It was surprisingly strong. It did not falter nor chip under the barrage of water. He placed his hand inside the fall while forming a single seal with the other and allowed his chakra to flow into the fall. The effects were instant as ice spread from his hand across the fall and joined up with the water on top of the ice. He had mastery of his bloodline. He could finally start to advance. [10/10] [5/5]

xxxxZayr the Iron Monk xxxx Arrival into the falls weren't unheard of, but the monk had settled his way rather comfortably. Now, he'd been paid for the services, and that meant one thing... He had to make use of the pay he received, that much was certain. Looking down for a moment, he concentrated, as he pulled together his chakra, bringing forth a clone of his own making. The blaze clone was there, just as well as he was. "Need some swords there," he explained, though the clone knew damn well what he needed yet. The coin purse was tossed, and the clone was on its way. T S U R U Y A X K O U H E I [ Kirigakure | Chuunin | Genjutsu Brawler ] Chakra Pool: 300 ____________________________________________ Kouhei had finally made it to the waterfall to see Alzayr waiting for him in the distance. He approached him where he was and a look of seriousness was apparent. "It's been a while since I have last been here." Kouhei said, rather calmly, looking about the small retreat. It was a personal place of meditation and training until others began to follow him there and bring their own friends. Kouhei had never minded, it was to benefit his fellow shinobi after all. Choosing not to fool around, Kouehi proceeded to ask what he was most curious about. "So, what's this you've placed on me?" He said, no hint of hostility or bewilderment. It was as simply as one asking how another's day had gone. Also, Kouhei now shown a slight smile, not common on his face. ____________________________________________

xxxxZayr the Iron Monk xxxx It was little time at all, before "Kouhei" showed up as requested. That was a wise decision, but the monk looked upon him as he read the chakra patterns once more. They were much like Satoshi's, but then again, that left too many possibilities. "Just a special little something," the monk answered, waving his hand slightly, to display the scar tissue shaped into his palm. The monk immediately led it to form up a seal, not of the ninja kind, but of his own design, his chakra began to irradiate in the most visible form, and the chakra of the enemy would be much the same. It was the telltale sign of the state of defense, and it was likely they wouldn't understand the process just yet.
"Can't be too careful, when you're not face to face with the real thing," the monk accused of the boy, drawing his master's katana, Shin'En. "Now you stay where you are, and explain why I shouldn't cut you down." He was already readying himself to strike. [Veil of Existence Activation! State of Defense granted. T S U R U Y A X K O U H E I [ Kirigakure | Chuunin | Genjutsu Brawler ] Chakra Pool: 300 ____________________________________________ The shinobi watched as Alzayr showed his palm and the glowing mark on it. He suddenly felt the chakra on his shoulder and moved the robe he wore aside, revealing the glowing mark, identical to that on Alzayr's palm. It had to be some sort of seal although it held no Kanji within it. It was surely something completely unheard of. Kouhei eyed it thoughtfully before looking back to the Jounin. He smiled at the shinobi's tactics and accusation. Alzayr drew his sword and Kouhei eyed the tip for a moment before looking back at the Jounin. "I have always though of you as perceptive, Alzayr." The tone in voice suddenly stern. An electrical discharge shot from one side of Kouhei to the next followed by another subtle flash. Suddenly, Kouhei burst into white smoke, revealing the truth. Satoshi stood in Kouhei's place, the arcing electricity crackling about him as if refreshing something that had been laid to sleep. "But I have to say that I'm impressed. I know you had sensed me back at the Ravine but I didn't know if you had truly recognized me." Sato said as he rotated his sword drawing hand, stretching.

xxxxZayr the Iron Monk xxxx It was quite the display left for the monk, as he stared down the fake shinobi. The difference in the tone was unsurprising, but probably the best way to disarm the young man briefly. There was little to mistake in the tone of voice. There were few so stern in his meetings, the subtle flash and cloud of smoke revealed whom the monk had most hoped it wouldn't be. Satoshi Hatake. Was it safe to assume he'd been there for reinforcements? Was he trying to be sly? His footing shifted just slightly, ready to move, should something go awry. "Perception's one thing to be honed, Satoshi," the monk answered simply, "A fake's a fake, no matter who they are." The monk had noticed the similarities, but in all, he'd never had that great of a read on Satoshi. It was clumsy, approaching him face to face without striking first. "Now, it doesn't matter where I picked up your scent, there are questions that must be answered," Zay continued, keeping his hardened eyes on the former Mizukage, shaking his head briefly. He'd hardly anticipated how difficult it would be to maintain the focus for two individuals, but frankly... It leveled the playing field, should things go wrong. Satoshi eyed Alzayr's sword once again, but then crossed his arms as he met Alzayr's gaze. Alzayr claimed to have taken in Satoshi's scent but he knew that was not true. He was always bathed himself and his clothes with scent removers that hunters often used to avoid being detected downwind by an animal. In the shinobi world, it was the Hunter ninja's way to always remain the hunter and never the hunted. "I suppose you want to know about what truly transpired back at the Tunnels?" Sato raised his chin as if throwing the question at him. His usual calm and content expression completely overtaken by a predatory presence. "It all began with the involvement of Ruuichi, the smith that had crafted the blades that had been stolen. I had spoken to him after he had placed the mission with us, not too long after the shinobi had left for the blades. I questioned him about the way they had been stolen and where it was that they had been taken from. Small details that our Mizukage took little interest in." Satoshi stood with his stance spread and his arms still crossed but his eyes soon began to look about Alzayr, as if looking for something whilst he spoke. An opening, perhaps. "I chose to examine the place of the robbery and was able to find a trail. Utilizing one of the Canines I have access to, I tracked the shinobi down to a shack at the edge of the village that the smith belonged to, hidden from the roads and strategically built backing a small hill. It had been empty except for the previous night's dinner and several supplies left behind which meant of their return. Among their things, I found a letter written by an unknown writer but according to the contents, it had been sent by someone from within the Mist. The letter spoke of a meeting place in the caverns that the mission took place in. I then had went to see the Mizukage to be allowed to aid in the mission but gave her nothing of what I had found, in fear of who might have been listening. Predictably, she had declined to let me go and chose you to go instead. I then stayed back for half a day, enough time for you to carve a trail for me to follow. At the time, I wasn't sure who had sent the letter to the bandits and so everyone was a suspect, including yourself." Satoshi then released his hands from their crossed position and rested his right fist on his hip and his left hand on his sheathed swords. "After entering the caves, it wasn't hard to find the shinobi who's scent covered the letter. Unfortunately, when I reached the trail's end, there were three shinobi. Max, a Jounin formerly of the Mist and you. I let the battle ensue until it had become difficult for you to continue and so you retreated along with Max. I then took the chance to examine your opponent using Static Connection. I had then learned that the shinobi you had faced, Icchiro, had never met the Mist traitor and had only been cooperating with him through letters. The Mist mole promised to provide transport out of Water country for Icchiro and clearance through the checkpoints as long as he sold the sword to him. What the two conspirators didn't count on was the Mist squad's quick arrival. Icchiro was forced to defend himself from not just a Genin but a Mist swordsman. The fight between you delayed the meeting that Icchiro and the mole were supposed to have, giving me enough time to move in. I destroyed Icchiro and assumed his identity. Knowing the meeting place, I went to meet with the mole and was surprised to find that it was Kouhei. He was unscathed by the other bandits involved and seemed to be aware of the transaction's terms because of the extracted information from his brain." Satoshi then removed his hand from his hip and swept back his hair. "As for Kouhei's search party, they will be disappointed because there will be no body for them to bring back. The last of Kouhei was scattered into the wind. The same goes for Icchiro." There was a hint of dark amusement in Sato's tone that might have shown him to have enjoyed the excursion.

xxxxZayr the Iron Monk xxxx The monk settled himself, trying to listen. The older man had apparently decided to follow up in specific about the story that Ruichi had told the Mizukage. It was all information that the monk couldn't quite follow up on just yet. There was too much to do, and as competent as the ANBU were, it was something he'd have to investigate for himself in time. Nonetheless, it seemed that the story was... cohesive, though in some parts it only seemed far fetched. In most cases, there was nothing the monk could even pin on the former leader, even if there was something.
The trance dissipated.
The blade slid back into the sheath, but the tone was something quite problematic. Did Satoshi have something of a lot in this mess? "Well, it makes sense," he sighed a bit, with a shrug. "Thanks for coming, Satoshi... Can't be too careful, right?" The former leader could ask for the secret of his technique, but it wasn't like he'd understand, if the monk chose to explain."A man's soul wrought in iron!"

Satoshi took in a deep breath of air as he felt an aura lift off him. It was unnerving and uncomfortable. His muscles released their tension and Satoshi moved his head from side to side, stretching his neck in relief. The Transformation into Kouhei had been prolonged and having to focus on details regarding body language and movement unfortunately stressed the body. Watching Alzayr sheathe his sword, Satoshi smiled subtly. "Of course." He nodded once. "I'm sure you're wondering why I had kept Kouhei's image long after I had settled the conspiracy. It's simply because I had disobeyed an order." Sato's smile then seemed to grow as he sighed. "Everything I did had been against the code of Tetsu no Ryu and I had been hoping to escape the shame, but as it seems, only the truth and the consequences that may come with it will be able to right my path once again. So, I will see the Mizukage and report this to her, that she may never call on Kouhei's help and get no answer." Satoshi smile lessened as if remembering something. "Im curious though, about this technique that you've showed me. I've never heard of anything like it before. It's obviously a sort of Fuuinjutsu but I don't see a string of kanji." Satoshi asked, pulling back the robe from his shoulder momentarily to look where the mark had been placed.

xxxxZayr the Iron Monk xxxx Satoshi was quick to try and explain everything, but it wasn't quite like Zay was going to keep the whole thing in his memory. It was all, apparently, a poor attempt to cover his tracks for a major happenstance of shirking orders. Admittedly, the blade could have been lost, had they not fulfilled the objective, but the life at the moment was infinitely more important then. "I should have practiced that one," Alzayr laughed, when he thought about the school of the blade. He essentially practiced the disciplines anyhow, but in the end... The monk was just what he'd made himself to be.
As was assumed, the man turned to the fuuin Zay had performed, the states having been cancelled, there would be no visible marking left upon Satoshi. "It's a state of total zen," joked the monk, as he turned about. Inherently, there'd been a hint, but few even understood how the Hakemoto functioned, since their abilities derived on something completely different from chakra itself. "I'm afraid I must get moving though, Satoshi. Keep Mi safe."

Satoshi watched Alzayr leave and looked to the waterfall and it's flowing water. Suddenly, the area darkened and there was a light that shone in the darkness. The ground around the waterfall began to tremble slightly and small pebbles and stone began to rise as a tremendous heat enveloped the area. The source of light was a crackling and surging electric current that flowed through Satoshi. The electricity poured out of him like water from a broken dam. It then began to jump from him and lash out at the environment, scorching the ground and the grass on it. Suddenly, in a second, it all disappeared. Only a single arc of electricity jumped from Satoshi's lower back up to his shoulder. A moment later, Satoshi stepped away from the waterfall, his expression grim.
