I dig what you're saying brother. I had a plan for Deora and Kerana to go out and have an adventure together that would have started at the prison, but it didn't quite pan out. I have plans for everyone's characters so that they can be included in the story and explore their own stories and relationships. It becomes difficult to accomplish there is no activity. At which point, in order to keep things rolling, people end up as third wheels. Now that I know you still want her in things, I will work towards my original plan.
I know life happens, so I let it go like water off a duck's back. In order to keep everyone engaged I do what I can to tweak things. That being said...

I understand your disdain for what is essentially an IP insert. However, I allowed him to be added because I saw no harm in his existence.
As far as the shadow twins go, their powers have roots in the meteors. But as far as they knew there was no link. They had been told differently by their parents. Plus, their shadow abilities were granted to them in the same way Annie's son was, through heredity. It was established before their introduction that the meteors existed long before the events of JJB's MSBSP. I had no intention of bringing either of them in until Pix joined with Trinity. Then I saw a reason to give her character direction since JewJewBean was slowly becoming less active. So I adjusted their story a bit.
In regards to EJ and this RP tie together, I am ready to sever that link with but a single word: Multiverse. EJ is Pix's baby, and I am not going to take things in a direction she feels it shouldn't go in. She's actually had to reel me back a few times because I strayed to far from her design. If she feels events told in MS are going too out of reach, I have no qualms about treating this RP like Star Trek or Bioshock Infinite.

If I sound apathetic or dickish I apologize, because that is not my intention. I tend not to take these things too terribly serious considering the lack of scientific grounding sci-fi/fantasy has in the first place. This RP was JJB's creation in 2009, and she left me without any direction. I don't know if she had an ending planned out for either RP, but I have been cooking one up for years since I made Shane (a blatant power rip-off from Alex Mercer in [P]rototype) the primary threat outside of Daedalus. It's an ending that involves everyone and answers a question I've had since post 1: Where did the meteors come from?
I can't make anyone stay, and I wouldn't want to. These RP's are supposed to be fun, and if it isn't fun anymore I would be remiss to goad anyone into staying when they don't want to. I'd be bummed, sure, but mostly because everyone here has sunk so much time into Ako, Trinity, Theonis, Deora, Kerana, and Liv. I ask that you consider that time and trust me to provide a story that is only going to get bigger and more (for lack of a better word) epic in the coming story arc.
My apologies for rambling. It is late and I just dropped the T on my best friend and son this past weekend so I'm pretty emotionally charged right now. I've never met you guys, but I'd like to think we'd be great friends if I ever met y'all IRL.
