He's weak because of the infection in his heart. His new meds are what makes him pass out but they make the pain less painful.

Van HAS to pull through. He WILL be fine. Have hope! Be cofident! Van already has John bringing him down by being TOO realistic and pessimistic. He needs you to have hope for his life.

He thought I was dying! He never once had hope that I would make it through! He even told John to stop paying for my treatments! That's not love!

There has to be an explanation. Maybe he just didn't want you to be in pain! And now you act miserable and want to die. Even if you did survive.
