Aludra Yvette... Aludra had held her wand at the ready, prepared to cast her shield charm when she heard the familiar quote Nerevar had said. "Sorry..." she began, turning around to face him. Kisaki points her cherry wand at the statue. "Everte Statnum," she mutters. It twitches but nothing else. She focuses harder and says in a rough tone, "Everte Statnum!" It throws the statue backwards and Kisaki grins.

Kage walks in quietly and looks around the class. "Homework....riiight..." She says as she searches around in her bag. Homework
Thestrals are the most elusive and least horse-like breed of magical winged horse. They have acquired an undeserved reputation as omens of evil. They are visible only to those who have witnessed and accepted a death, and are described as having "blank, white, shining eyes," a "dragonish face," "long, black manes," "great leathery wings," and the "skeletal body of a great, black, winged horse." Thestrals have fangs and possess a well-developed sense of smell, which will lead them to carrion and fresh blood. Their wings are capable of very fast flight for at least several hours at a time, though they usually spend their time on the ground, and they have an excellent sense of direction. Kage takes out her wand. A shield charm...this should be easy. She waves her wand calling out a clear "Protego!" A bright blue shield forms in front of her. "Fun.." She mumbles, "but I should really practice my Patronus..."

 *Text straightens her back and draws her wand, stadily pointing it directly in front of her*
"Protego!"
*A shield forms in front of her. She keeps her wand up, trying to maintain the shield. She manages to do this, with much effort. Letting out a sigh of relief, she kept repeating the spell, determined to get it completely perfect.*

:she reviews and reviews the words for her Shield Charm: "protego,protego,protego" :then lifts up her oak wand: "I know I can do this, my wand is specially for healing, prosperity, and protection" . . .
"Here goes, PROTEGO!" :the shield forms but dissapears as she excitedly loses concentration: "Woops" :she said shyly:
"Once more, PROTEGO!"
"Professor, Professor it worked. I've produced a full Shield Charm!"
