Kaori gave her companion a look and shook her head, making her long silvery hair whip around her face. The tiger huffed at her and trotted over to the wolf and proceeded to swipe at his tail like a tiger cub would a larger tiger's tail. Nova growled playfully and bounced around the large wolf, trying to entice him to play. Kaori stared at Nova, surprised and mortified at her partner, what was she doing? Getting back to his desert home, Theodin sped up, wanting to get back home quickly. After a while he played with the telescopic lens on his goggles and saw that the village was just a mile away or so, with the lens on full zoom he could even make out individual ANBU on the wall.

Ayame walked along with the group keeping her eyes, ears, and yes even her nose open. Daichi walked along the left side of Bast, and huffed at Nova to get her on the other side. Ayame had asked him to specifically stay beside her and have Nova on the other side. She had said it just might be best to have another animal tell Nova what to do since Ayame wasn't her tamer, and she knew what a handful cats were. So she just kept silent and watched the sands. Daichi shook his head getting some of the disturbed sand out of his mouth as his ears moved in every direction. He liked adventures and Konoha was supposed to be pretty green and the exact opposite of Suna. It was always nice to visit different places.

To any onlookers, it would appear that she was still the Kazekage; in fact, given her entourage, it might even seem like she had graduated to being the Daimyou as well, though the actual Daimyou would probably be unamused by such observations.
"Just to reiterate," she commented, "we should stop at the border to announce our intent to go to Konoha."
Without saying anything else, she took a swig of tea from her flask and continued to trudge through the sand, looking as much the big shot as ever.
