the earthen brown spears shot up out of the ground, a few completely verticle, a few at an angle to make a perfect tea-pee looking structure to penetrate and kill the imaginary opponent. Although simple, and rather easy, it was a brutal and effective jutsu.

The Spears cumbled and formed back into the ground as San recieded his chakra. he was amazed with his progress, and how capable even at gennin he was with minipulating his chakra. he would hopefully be a testament to the power of his village.

Satetsu Soushi [ Iron-Sand Creation ]

Sarus walked in the academy, chewing on the damped white stick from the lolipop that he was once eating. He ignored the other two that were there and went a clear distance away from them. He went to a corner in the room and gently took off his backpack; He didnt want to wake Jiro-san up. The swords at his sides showed some intimidation to all who stared upon them. Sarus gently placed his hands on the ground and begin mold the floor itself into shiny blackish-gray sand. The sand had the texture of regular sand, but the properties were clerly different.
Hagane Dama [ Iron Bullet ]

Sarus performed a few hand seals and started looked down at the sand he created. The sand grew small little round lumps and that was it. He was obviously putting too much chakra into it as several lumps of sand formed, but didn't do anything else.

The thought of lumps made Sarus laugh. He continued on to the jutsu and began performing seals again. This time, Sarus put less chakra into as he did not want to make a lot of them. they floated into the air and were ready to take off. Sarus aim them for the wall and sent flying off. When they hit the wall, they turned right back into sand, causing no impact.

Sarus had a puzzled look upo his face as he did not know what he did wrong until a moment later. This jutsu was starting to make him bored. This time, Sarus didn't need any hand seals cause he got the basis of the jutsu down and use his mind to control them. The iron sand pellets rose into the air again and when they hit the wall, they left a hole as the big as they were. Which ment, jutsu completed.
Satetsu Kesshuu [ Iron Sand Joint Attacks ]

This jutsu was gonna be a little tougher. But only a little tougher. Sarus moved his hands in around to make the iron sand move faster rather than using his mind. Sarus piled sand over each other in two seperate piles.

This was a paticularly easy one. Sarus was actually having fun with it. He made it into many different shapes and sizes. He split them up into tiny cubes and then into little animals. He even made them wak around a little; as if they were alive. Sarus did see as iron sand soon began to fall off of the little animals.

Sarus raised his hands into the air and made the many little animals to float upwards. When he released his grip on them, they came crashing into the ground, leaving a large crater where they landed. This satisfied Sarus enough that he didn't even want to continue with the jutsu.

San was almost done with another scroll. Excited, he felt he needed to keep pressing on, through the tiredness of training. He was so close, he felt he could at least finish this scroll before rest. The scroll spoke of learning a skill similar to the replacement skill, but it was replaced with a rock that could explode. So now he began performing the neccessary hand seals.

San first began to practice the timing and use of the replacement technique. He would have to get this down first before he could summon up the explosive rock.

Getting the timing down, San focused his chakra and summoned up the boulder of explosive power as he jumped away gaining distance from the explosion.

Finally a distance away, he instinctivly drew the vector with his magnetic chakra and threw a kunai just to see how powerful the explosion was....
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
And it was quite the site. Easly, if someone was caught in the blast, they would be hurting after that. Easy to use, dangerously effective. Another jutsu the gennin was going to enjoy.

The last technique on the scroll was a dragon that was capable of spitting huge boulders and rocks. It looked similar to the jutsu the "black fox" had used, but seemed to lack the splender or power: pretty much a lower version. But at the level of gennin, a lower level of THAT powerful jutsu was more then enough. San first began to run the hand seals over and over again, trying to get the sequence down perfectly.

After the sequence was down, the kid burrowed his energy into the ground, trying to use his imagination to draw the outline he wanted. Although simple, the little workings of the design would make the technique work or fail.

Finally finished, using the most chakra he had used sense learning his Doton arts, San felt his hara lift and churn as he tried to lift the heavy beast out of the ground. With cracking and breaking, the perfect outline of a dragon rose out of the dojo ground.

Using the inner workings of the outline in his Dragon, the Satetsu began to focus his chakra into the ground and pull up a giant cannon ball sized boulder made of rock. It began to make its way up the tunnel of the dragon.

Then with the force to take out a building, the dragon shot this cannon ball into the ground, watching a small crater be made. For once, san felt greatly proud of the fact that he had learned a jutsu similar to that of the ANBU captain. Could this mean that he was moving up in the world?

Allowing the jutsu to fall back into the ground, and using his chakra to repair it, san slowly picked up the scroll and placed it back in his burden golem. Although tired and a little drained, the Satetsu was challenged by the higher up ninja. Although not prideful, maybe he could get another mission under his belt before the exams started. They had to be starting soon. Just as quickly as he arrived, san ran out the door back to the house.

Slightly confused as San ran out, in, & then back out once again, Six crossed her arms. Damn that kid's a fast learner, she thought. "If he returns anytime soon, I'll write a sticky note for him." Pulling out a small legal pad, the yellow paper flopped over on its rings several times before she found a clean page. Talking aloud as she wrote items down,

Narikawari no Jutsu (Change Technique)
Description: Narikawari no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used by Zetsu's white half. When used, Zetsu will form a clone which can mimic the chakra and form of anyone he touches. Because the copy is weak in battle, it is used primarily as a distraction. Once the jutsu is ended, the transformed copy will revert to its white clone state.
The clone can only use academy level jutsus, & up to 5 times.
This technique may be useful to you if you find a need for it. It's a C-ranked [ null rank ] technique that copies people that you've touched previously. Two: If you're interested, I'd like you to check out a book on Suna's own private genjutsus, since I noticed that you like Suzu no Oto. It'll take thought to form illusions, & if you do well with Suzu no Oto, you may be able to create well thought out distractions. Lastly, if I'm not available, I'd like you to think upon the custom technique, Gunsei, & then make a custom jutsu of your very own. You may consult whomever you find as necessary.

It was a tad long, but it all fell nicely upon the yellow legal paper, the calligraphy flowing smoothly. With this she stuck a thumbtack through the top of it, tacked it onto the bulletin board just outside the door, & then signed it to San.

 ` ⊰ x levi-leithe.kamelot ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄▄▄ ▄ ... The chuunin exams. A thrilling event, really, but at the level of her laziness, who knows if she can qualify. There are those D-Ranked missions she was assigned that she needed to do, a few more jutsus, but everyone had a limit. To her knowledge she could not exceed twelve. Her training was almost maximized, but something still didn't feel right. Her squad. Maybe they needed a little bonding time, eh? You need to know your team to know all their weaknesses and strength, correct? The next problem was that for now, Levi had no contact with them. From what she's heard, San likes to train at the academy, so why not wait? ...

Hagane Bunshin no Jutsu [ Iron Clone Skill ]

Sarus was making progress in this training. Because of course,it came naturally to him. Sarus formed a basic seal and gathered up enouh chakra to perform this jutsu because it is an important one to learn.

Sarus began perfoming hand seals. He usually didn't use them unless he needed to. i.e. this jutsu. Since it's a vital jutsu, Sarus wanted to act as serious as a twelve year old. He stood up straight, imagined himself working in an office and began performing the jutsu.

The iron rose upwards lke a slow water foutain that was gushing upwards. It slwoly began molding the basic aspects of Sarus' body. The legs, body, height, etc. When it was finally formed and hardened, Sarus looked it in the face before unsheathing Sandai Kitetsu and cutting in half. Metal was clearly not a worth opponent for Sarus' swordsman ship.
Satetsu Kaihou [ Iron Sand World Method ]

Sarus watched as the clone he cut in half turned into iron sand and flew to the ground. It was on to the next one. Sarus formed another basic seal and gathered chakra cause this was also an important jutsu. Sarus performed hand seals and began to put work in.

Sarus began the jutsu by lifting half the sand that was on the ground into the air. He needed a suitable design for the sand to take. Using both of his arms, the sand floated in the air as he began thinking about what to do with it.

He tried different styles before doing the technique's orginal design; lattice. He did a web design, but he didn't spiders so he decided to change it to something else. Making designs were easy, but putting them in battle would be hard. Sarus decided to go with the latice and deal with this later.

Sarus wanted to practice the attack now. Though, he did forget to do one thing; perform the attack when he wasn't directly under it. The attack began to lattice in the air and rain down towards him in the form of spikes. After it crashed into the ground, Sarus could be found in an awkward position. Luckily, Jiro-san was in the corner and wasn't effect by the jutsu.

Sarus was to scared to experiment now. He released the sand and performed the jutsu correctly.

In a cloud of sand, the black haired Satetsu appeared at the entrance to the grand university in which he had trained for a while. He had just come back from yet another exercise and "mission" to add to his record, but was released to finish his preparations for the Chunnin exams. Although he had a significant amount of knowledge under his belt now, his mental to do list was still to large to be neglectable. He still had a few jutsu he needed to learn, some training exercises with his team, a meeting his his team, and to mess around with a few Gunsei ideas he had been cooking and rolling through his head. Overall, he had his work cut out for him.
As San approached the front door, he noticed a yellow note on the bulleten board addressed to him. As the kid read it over, he noticed the description of a jutsu and a scroll partially dug in the ground for him to find. It seemed Six sensei was really looking out for him, even picking and choosing certain jutsu that she thought he could not only handle but make effective and practical. Happy and excited to get started, San ran through the doors into the university.
As the gennin walked past rows and rows of practice mats and arena like floors, he couldn't help but notice the one person he least expected to see at his favorite training spot: His brother Sarus. Although 4 years younger then San, his brother Sarus was about the same level ninja as him. He had a very strong bloodline affinity and seemed capable of learning many forms and ranges of combat. Although they were very similar, the younger Satetsu seemed to have an ego or a complex that involved trying to show San up or push his brother down. It was the one trait San had an issue with. But no matter how much San wanted to be his rival, he would always be his bigger brother; and that ment he would help the little one achieve his goals as well. It was a soft spot that San tried to keep well hidden.
Along the way, the gennin saw his team mate Levi chillin around. Hopefully she was training here too. To San's thinking, he could kill alot of birds with one stone. Get some training in and get to talking to his team mate. She would play a crutial part in his strategy. But first, he needed to get to what Six sensei asked.
Once he found his own spot, he cracked open the scroll and began to read the instructions. The first step seemed to cover your chakra all over your body and think of someone you had touched recently. The first one coming to mind was his team mate and friend Arus, whom had punched him in the gut. Forming the series of hand seals, the San began the process.

The scroll spoke of a way that mixed the chakra into your mind that created a shadow clone that could move and interact with the world and even perform jutsu. It was a great destraction, insertion, recon, and espionage jutsu. As san focused his chakra, he felt something pulling and removing from him causing a slight discomfort. To his right it seemed like a white cloak like thing was pulling and seperating itself from him....

The white cloak of chakra then began to take shape of a human, about the size of San. Features began to be shown, and details where getting drawn out. Finally, it looked like Arus....

The scroll read that, due to scientific research of the great Sand village, the Akatsuki member Zetsu's special ability was capable of being copied through practicing and physically touching the scroll. That way, the Kazekage could watch over and figure out who all had the ability. Apperently, San was one of those shinobi.

Finally learning that technique, San moved on to achieve his sensei's next part of the instructions: Creating a technique. Over the many stories and such that San had listened to, he had heard of shinobi signing a contract with the Bears who's claws where so powerful they could crush a head with a single clinch. To San, power like that would be rather useful and was one that he could use offensively.....as well as difensivly. Using th maruton training that he had recieved from Six sensei, the gennin began to flow his chakra into his hand, watching a red transparent ball begin to come out of his hand.

More power...more chakra.......San kept relaxing and letting the energy flow. Finally, the transparent red orb enveloped the gennin's hand. There was no noise, now sound to it making it also slightly stealthy compared to the rasengan and chidori, which everyone in the Villages knew about due to their legendary technique status.

Once finally formed, San had his arus clone raise its arm in a held out position. Placing the hand around the bicep of the clone San gave a squeeze as he focused the chakra into a fine cutting line.....
to watch the arm completely seperate from the body. The technique was wonderful, and would do its wonders. Maybe he should show it to Six sensei? But he still had work he had to do.

But now it was time to try something he had been ondering ever sense his training. Once again, San began to focus his chakra into his hand. This time however, he focused it on his very finger tips and formed it as lightning chakra. He then drew out the vector with his magnetic chakra, and released the built up energy. A controled extended wave was shot out of his finger tips, continueing for about 2 seconds. It seemed that the more energy he stored, the more powerful this move would be......
