Auriel had bounded from the city of Pronta with what seemed to be the wings of an angel. In truth it was just her legs. Each step she took she flew forward and never landed wrong. She had just as much agility as Castyfe did, though the kiranu was faster than she was. He would have no problem keeping up with her. Auriel traveled for awhile in silence, merely taking in the scenery as it passed by swiftly. In no time at all they were at the wastes. A solemn expression was on Auriel's face. There was no life here, only decay and darkness. A queer feeling passed through her body as she felt a contingent of evil pass nearby. "Orcs." Auriel whispered to her friend, gripping her staff tightly. The whistling of something flying end over end through the air had Auriel ducking swiftly. An axe went sailing just where her head had been as an Orc Axeman appeared, roaring in anger at his miss and charging forward at the two of them. When Auriel stepped back he chose Castyfe as his target. The orc lifted its axe above his head and swung it down to try and cleave Castyfe in two.
Orc AxemanD - 4/1 The regular orc the axeman is not that smart or fast but he is strong. The axe is quite dull but the brute strength makes up for it. They also get easily irritated if the keep missing. Be careful when they throw the axe as it will equate to a C rank attack due to the brute strength.

"Yo, ho, ho!!" The carriage rocked up and down. The man controlling it singing a foreign song of which Gabe had never heard of. The cold, bitter air flowing past his face. His attire wasn't so different than usual with the exception of a large scarf. His expression as cold as the air. A gaze locked onto what ever lay ahead. The Waktu was headed towards the Wastes better known as the Wastelands. The road leading to the tundra below the capital of Pronta was traversible, but once they reached the border Gabe was on his own. "Hey lad, what's your business down in that God forsaken land anywho? Got a death wish or somethin'?" The rider asked with a thick foreign accent. Gabe had found him on his way to the Wastes. What the man actually did for a living was beyond him. "I'm goin' there to see your mother hehe." Gabe mocked behind his scarf. He didn't much care for talking before a big mission. It was his way of mental preparation. "Smart a** I see..." The road ended exactly where the snow began. It was as if there was an invisible wall blocking it out from the road. Beyond that was a dangerous ecosystem of creatures that evolved with survival of the fittest embeded in their brains. The only room for weakness was the fact that you walked in packs. "Ok. This is where we parts ways." The rider said without looking back at Gabe. Something had caught his attention past the snow, but he couldn't quite make out what it was. Gabe jumped off the carriage and walked past the rider. "Hey! Where do you think you're goin lad?! This isn't bloody charity!" Gabe walked into the Wastes and looked back slowly. "Come and get it then." The rider looked at Gabe with anger and frustration before cursing and turning around to leave. "Good luck getting back you freak." There wasn't much to be seen. There was a storm going on and white out was giving Gabe the struggle life. All he could do was walk forward. Each step making the distinct crunching noise. "Where are you?" Gabe asked himself before finding an old, frozen lamp post. "So this place wasn't always like this before huh?" The Waktu rubbed it to remove some of the snow covering an potential land mark written on it. To his luck there was nothing. "Figures." Suddenly, the lamp post started to glow with lights flickering inside. There was a family of Ice Wisps inside of the glass. They must've gotten in through the broken glass. "Woah, woah hehe." He said as they danced around his head and tickled his nose. Gabe kind of liked the tiny creatures. They let out a cute little sound, but out of nowhere it turned into a sort of panicked squeel before they ran away. Something had scared them. That something was also behind Gabe. "There you are."

The air somehow got colder. In the middle of a forsaken tundra there was still a being able of making the temperature drop even more. Gabe could hear the joints of ice move and pop from behind him. Before he had the chance to turn around the creature swung at him with its massive arm made out of pure ice. The Waktus ears weren't just for show, they instantly twitched at the sound of the incoming attack. His body jumped away from the blow, but the lamp post wouldn't be so lucky. Now Gabe actually had a good look at the creature. An elemental composed entirely of ice and with breath colder than ice itself. Gabe grinned as the two creatures stared eachother down. If Gabe was a human the Ice Monger would've attacked immediately, but Gabe was a beast. There was some sort of ancient understanding between the two. Perhaps if Gabe wasn't born in Pronta things would be different, but they both knew what was going to happen. "Hey there big guy. Let's get this party started!" With that said, Gabe threw himself at the beast with immense speed destroying any hope it had of countering Gabe. His fist arched back before making contact with the Mongrel's massive head. The impact caused a shockwave of energy to erupt the snow in the area throwing it all up into the sky. While the creature tumbled backwards through the snow, Gabe tried to see through all the falling snow. Then the footsteps started. "Oh shi-!" Gabe recieved a blow directly in the stomache launching him back with double the pain he delivered to the Mongrel. His body tumbled through the snow like a ragdoll before the snow buildup kept his body from going. "Damn, that thing can pack a punch." He said to himself with blood coming out of his mouth. "Is that all you got?!?" He shouted as he got up. The enemy running towards him with half of its face blow away. It let out a battle cry just before Gabe did the same. The two met with clashing fists that created deafening shockwaves. They would not stop until someone lost an arm. In the end the Ice Mongrel lost its left arm. The ice crumbled to the floor that once was covered in snow. Now the two creatures stood on top of dirt. Their clashes created a crater of sorts where the snow blew away from them. The both looked at eachother panting. "Just give up friend. Don't make this harder than it has to be!" Gabe shouted before the creature punched him away nulling the attack he tried to land. Ever since it lost its left arm the aura around it changed. Gabe held his stomach trying to endure the pain like before, but sweet hell the beast was strong. "Oh c'mon! Is that all you got?!" The creature didn't move. It just watched him. Giving me the cold treatment. Literately huh?" Gabe cracked his knuckles before dashing at the Mongrel. The creatur would try to swat the Waktu away once again, but Gabe would have none of it. "Bob and Weave baby!" Gabe shouted as he dodged the massive arm fluidly like the wind. Energy in his right arm began to swell up instantly before he sent an empowered punch straight through the Ice Mongrels body. "Force Breaker!" The punch caused an explosion of energy which engulfed the two creating a bright white flash of light. Gabe awoke surrounded by snow. Shards of ice scattered around him and all around his bloody right arm. The taste of blood filled his mouth even after he spit it out. The red mixing with white snow and finally turning black. "s**t. That thing was tough." He said putting his left palm on his forehead. "K.O"

Gabe couldn't stay on the ground anymore. Snowing was starting to pile up on him and his fur would only protect him from the cold for so long. The damagr the two beasts made in the area was not obvious at all. The snow had already covered up any signs that Gabe was there. He wasn't a very deep person, but even the dull minded brawler could appreciate things like such once in a while. Gabe found out that the fight hadn't jusr broken some ribs, but uopn getting up he felt a sharp sting in his left leg. He probably injured it during his tumbles, but it didn't matter. He still had to find his way out of the tundra. "Damn, I really hope IT isn't watching me right now." In Gabe's current situation he was the perfect target for IT. After walking for what seemed to be an eternity Gabe didn't find any familiar land mark that could guide him out of the Wastes. His time was running out and the snow was covering everything. Finally, exhaustion got the best of him. Gabe fell to his knees too tired to walk. "I can't believe this is it..." Gabe mumbled feeling the cold move in. Then, the noise from before came back. The Ice Wisps had returned. This time in greater numbers. The hovered over Gabe curiously making their little sounds. One of them nudged Gabe's nose, but he didn't move. They all started making their sounds in unison as if alarmed. Then, they all picked up Gabe using their collective strength and took him outside the tundra. When Gabe woke up he was sure he was dead, but he knew it wasn't true when he saw an ice shard being held tightly in his hand. The walk back home would be a long one. The Waktu got up slowly and looked at the long road ahead of him. Many would take this as a sign of the hardships to come. After a long battle there would still be a long way to go, but Gabe was getting too deep for one day. "s**t. I should've paid that clown to ******** wait." He wondered what was going on in his damn mind when he decided not to pay the man. Was he feeling pumped up before the mission or was it his usual a*****e antics? He decided both.
“Auriel, I’d like to talk later, if we can.” He would have finished that sentence too, if an Orc hadn’t ‘axed’ its way into the conversation. Castyfe shifted his balance, and moved away from the axe. With his speed, it was almost child’s play. He blew his bang from his face, his feline ears perking up. Nothing was ever not moving on Cast, whether is was his ears, tail, or eyes. Castyfe didn’t really revel in the idea of fighting. In fact, he sort of loathe the concept of fighting. Even with this in mind, he’d never felt cold steel dig into the cartilage of his body, and he lacked the urge to change that fact. So he fought. Of course, Castyfe lacked a lot in the area of offensive capabilities, so he made do with what he had access to. Brandishing his claws, he would lurch forward, relying on his speed for defense. Getting to the Orc in no time, Cast jabbed at the orcs neck.

Auriel looked to Castyfe with a look that read 'definitely not now'. When it came to battle that truly was her first love. It was very important for her to win all these battles. Not only was it her duty, but Auriel even enjoyed it. The look on her face suggested as much as Castyfe sprang into action. He was way faster than the Orc and was able to easily run circles around the creature. The orc shouted in rage as Castyfe jabbed at him, but the gorget he had around his throat was enough to catch his claws, and now Castyfe would find his claws stuck in the iron. His nails were long enough to cut through it though, and a strange gurgling noise could be heard from the beast. Auriel seeing this sprang into action. She bounded forward in two steps and dove towards the monster. The orc tried to swing out with his axe but missed her by an entire foot. In the air Auriel twisted her body and reached out a slender hand, gripping the back of the creature's rusted and dented armor. She planted her legs against its back, landing as lithely as a cat. With blade in hand the nephilim attacked, stabbing her dagger into the back of the orc's neck and severing its spine. With one last unintelligable 'guh', the orc fell forward. Auriel bent her knees with the impact and stood atop the orc, bloodied blade in hand and eyes closed. "Father, please accept this offering. Continue to watch over me and mine." The halfling said with a smile to her best friend in the whole world. After her moment of theatricality Auriel stepped off of the creature and squatted down to wipe its blood off of her dagger. "You had something you wished to talk about, Cas?" Auriel asked, raising an eyebrow and giving him a curious look. It had been a weird time for him to ask for a tete a tete, but there was time now.

Taking notes from the Lannister aphorism, Castyfe had managed to pierce the orc's neck. "Castyfe sends his regards!" The beasts blood cascaded from the four holes in its armor, splashing against Cas' fair skin. It was beautiful, in a macabre way. Wiping his hand on his shirt, Castyfe watched as Auriel made short work of the orc, and finished it off. The way she did it was so prefect. It was as if was choreographed. It was flawless. Auriel was one of those people who could do anything while remaining attractive. She could decapitate a monster while looking as innocent as a kitten. Cast smiled. "Nevermind, it can wait. On to the next task, yes?"

Throughout the travels he and Eve had, this was definitely the longest that consumed his trail mix that he made on the way. He looked around the large amount that was once the wastes before he looked to Eve and soon asked, "So, how much farther do we have left to go? And in which direction?" He raised an eyebrow to hear an answer soon.
• Energy Javelin(Beam Cannon) [ B ] All shots from the Beam Cannon are infused with the user's energy. If they are in a certain armor that changes their energy set, the shots are changed to match that new energy form. The user can charge the Beam Cannon for a post while moving to create an S ranked shot with a 20 feet knockback, capable of sending the user through the wall. • Constant Fire(Beam Cannon) [ C ] The user can keep the pressure going with the Beam Cannon by keeping the beam on the foe without letting go. The first regular shot of the Beam Cannon deals B ranked damage and takes B ranked energy. A constant beam from the cannon deals C ranked damage while consuming B ranked energy, allowing for 7 consecutive hits, all hitting C ranked. • Refraction(Beam Cannon) [ C ] Shots fired from the Beam Cannon are all capable of being reflected off of a reflective surface(Polished Shields, Mirrors, and Reflecting Barriers). This can be a good thing and a bad thing as the shots can bounce off of most metals.
(Since we're allowing Devrin to come back from the dead, this is his re-introduction to life.)
A portal opened deep beyond the dense forestry, in a clearing. The portal was tall and broad, shaped like an aegis, with a view of a charming land within it; one of lush green fields and farmlands, vineyards, and a clean and prosperous city. It was a gate to the Realm of Hell, the "Extinction of Want", where a certain Draconian had been brought to when the Mazdakists wedged themselves into hell. Raphael, as the God of Order, Civilization and Leadership, was a natural patron deity of Kings and Queens and all nobility alike. As such, he had brought Devrin to the fold and had gathered living subjects to prepare a spell to return him from the dead. They gathered in the Extinction of Want, before Raphael's gaze, and channeled their energy into re-constructing his body based on the fragments of him that lived in Hell. Then, finally, it became possible for a Shaman to ressurrect Devrin, and Raphael just so happened to know the spell for Ressurrection. The God of Order ejected him through the Gate, where he would find himself with his face against the grass and with a vast forest surrounding him.
The God's voice boomed through the clearing and all that was beyond, the avians flying off and animals and beasts alike retreating to their dens. "Devrin," he called out to him. "I have commanded my followers to return you to the living world. From my own power, I have ressurrected you from the dead. Accept my gift, but know that I do not offer you life merely out of love. I do so because as the force of Order in this Plane, it is a blight upon me that Yuran is rife with such disorder. You, in life, carried a great deal of passion for Yuranian affairs. As such, I have returned you to life with the hope that you put your passions to restoring the greatness of this Kingdom." The God projected his power through their surroundings, and before Devrin would know it, the clouds would darken and a storm would ensue. A bolt of lightning would strike in the distance, far in the distance, and a crackle of thunder would precede it.
"Let that bolt of lightning be your compass; it struck north. In that very direction lays the damaged city of Pronta, a city you once ruled. I wish you luck in the ordeal . . . and do not fail me. Connect with the Nephilim and Valkyries and join them in the restoration of Yuran." That was his command. With that, his voice faded and the Gate to Want disappeared from the clearing, Devrin left alone with only a stormy sky and a fire lonesome in the north. His purpose was clear, and Raphael entrusted him not to diverge from the path that gave him life.

Numbness is all he felt as his soul was pieced back together and pulled to the realm of the living. His head swam from the now foreign stimuli that is the world of the living. Figures around him stood with hoods drawn. He himself was kneeling in grass, a voice boomed and his head swiveled to find to whom it belonged. He laid his eyes upon Raphael God of Order, the word he spoke "Devrin" a simple name but powerful.
With the mere mention of his name his memories flew back in a rush. He was Devrin Goldheart former King of Yuran whom was slain very shamefully in battle by Maria Kal. This was a few years ago but felt as though a thousand lifetimes had passed. But his attention refocused upon Raphael as he continued to speak.
He was to once again help his people of Yuran as part of recompense for his regained life. He watched as lightning streaked across the sky, pointing the way home. Devrin forced himself to stand and heaved a sigh. This was strange for the moment, to once again have a physical being. His other task was to meet up with Nephilim and Valkyries to join forces. Devrin looked to Raphael with his golden draconic eyes. "Thank you and consider it done," he said with gratitude and a serious look upon his face. His city was in shambles, no amount of time would ease his anger at such a thing.
Once Raphael took his absence, Devrin unfurled his wings and gave them a mighty beat. The Dragon King has returned, all those who wish to spread chaos and destruction, run.
Exceed was in the process of working with Eve as he was in the process of searching for some scrap metals around. "I take it this is a bad spot?" He asked her before he heard the lightning struck near them before looking around as he was wondering what was going on. "I guess we aren't the only ones here."
