Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick stepped away from the doorway. "I'm really used to not being allowed in a girls room," he said, "my sister hated it if I even stepped on foot in her room." Kedrick explained with a sheepish smile. He took a seat on the edge of the bed next to her. He listened to her asking about the music. "umh, I'm not sure what you have on your ipod, if you want you can just put it on shuffle, I'll listen." He said, leaning over her shoulder to take a look at what she had been doing homework-wise.

Arielle Shore
"I never had to worry about that since I'm an only child," Arielle said, "But when my cousins came over, I always had to close my door and put a sign that read 'Do Not Enter' on it. I could never trust them in my room." She paused and listened to his response about the music and decided to play her Disney playlist on shuffle. The first song that played was "I'll Make A Man Out of You" from Mulan. She tapped her fingers on her lap as the drums played before she started the first line, trying to make her voice sound like General Shang but only laughed. "Let's get down to business. To defeat, the Huns. Did I send for daughters, when I asked, for sons. You're the saddest bunch I've ever met, but you can bet, before we're through. Mister I'll make a man out of you."
((I wanna watch this movie again T.T.))

Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick laughed along with her, listening to her imitations as the music played. With nothing better to do with the evening, he just stayed to chat, sitting beside her on the bed and to listen to the music she was playing. A little while later, he reached over, pushing the pause button on her iPod. "uhm..." He looked down at his hands, there was something he wanted to ask her. He shifted her weight back and froth like a little boy who had yet to learn how to stay still, running his fingers through his blond hair. "Hey Arielle..." Kedrick began slowly, just the expression on his face told Arielle he was dead serious. "...are you.....happy here?" He asked, his brow knitted in a small frown of concern. Kedrick feared that Arielle didn't like the idea of staying her with him, that it made her uncomfortable, or maybe even a little bit scared.

Arielle was glad for Kedrick's company, it was always good to spend time with people you enjoy being with. After some time, he paused the music and she looked at him, wondering what was wrong. When he looked at her seriously, she wondered what the matter was. When he asked her if she was happy here, she gave it some thought before nodding. "I do like it here. It's a really nice place, the library is just amazing, and getting to know you is great," she paused and smiled at him before looking at him curiously, "Why do you ask?"

Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick was glad to here that she wasn't unhappy. he breathed an almost imperceptible sigh of relief, then paused to lisen to her question."uhm, I don't know," He said with a helpless gesture or his hands. "I guess....well...I thought maybe you might feel weird or something, we didn't meet each other in the most common of settings..." He said, referring to the pet shop. He laced his fingers together, looking down at them.

She listened to his response and could understand where he was coming from. She remembered their first meeting and still wished she wasn't in that darn Pet Shop. She tried to remember exactly why she was there in the first place but just gave up. "That is true. Our first meeting wasn't exactly what I'd find, well," she paused and decided to just stop from there. She laid her hand on hid and looked at him, "Don't worry about it anymore, okay?"

Kedrick looked down, with a small smile. He looked over at her, squeezing her hand gently. "yeah, alright." He said, standing up. "hey, do you want dessert or something?" Kedrick asked, rubbing the back of his neck. "I think there's some ice cream in the freezer..."
((really short I know, gotta go eat dinner.))

Arielle smiled and nodded, "Sounds like a plan. And I think we have some leftovers of my grandma's cake." She stood up from her bed and headed out of her room and started to walk down the steps. "I somehow can't wait for the leaves to fall."

Kedrick Suwa
((It's fine ^_^ )
Kedrick smiled, nodding enthusiastically, "yeah," He said, licking his lips like a stray cat. "That sounds great!" Kedrick followed her out of the room, pausing briefly, his hand rested on the rich, mahogany wood of the door frame to listen to her comment about the leaves. He smiled fondly at her, "I know, I prefer winter myself, but what's winter without fall as a preparation for it?" He asked, moving again to trot down the stairs next to her. It was a rhetorical question so he really didn't expect an answer from Arielle as he turned the sharp corner into the kitchen. "Lets see," He mumbled, Opening the freezer and digging around a bit. "Ah Ha!" He cried triumphantly, Withdrawing a cover plate of cake and a tub of cookies and cream ice cream. "I got, this because I knew it was your favorite flavor." He said, a slight blush coloring his cheeks as he hefted the tub of ice cream onto the table. Kedrick opened a cabinet door, pulling out two bowls and grabbing two spoons from the draw below it. He scooped both of them a scoop of the ice cream and cut the remaining cake into two pieces. "Here you go," He said, sliding the bowl across the table to her.
((wow, monster post, where did that come from?))

"Winter's too cold. But I do love it. The snow is so beautiful when it blankets everything," Arielle responded as she followed Kedrick into the kitchen, "But I love putting the leaves together and jumping in them. It's so much fun. I've been doing that since I was little." She sat down and waited for Kedrick to get things and felt her cheeks warm when he mentioned how he had remembered that her favorite flavor was Cookies n' Cream. She smiled at him and took the bowl that had slid to her. "Thanks Kedrick. That was very thoughtful of you." She grabbed one of the spoons and took a bite of the ice cream and smiled. "Ah, there's nothing like ice cream for desert. Although desert is always good, depending on what desert is, right?"
((It came from the sky ^.^.))

Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick smiled at her over the bowl of ice cream. "yeah," He said, loading a small bite of cake on top of a spoon-full of ice cream and popping it into his mouth. Kedrick gaze drifted over to the kitchen window, He noted how the leave where just now starting to get a pale crown of gold around their tips. " I think Cake tasted better frozen," He pondered randomly, looking up at her. "what about you?" he asked, smiling easily at arielle and once again noting how pretty she was.

Arielle Shore
Arielle was enjoying her ice cream before Kedrick had stated something about cake tasting better when frozen. When he had asked her what she thought, her spoon was hanging from her mouth and she looked a little silly. Taking it out and sitting it in the bowl, she looked at Kedrick and shrugged her shoulders. "I think it depends on how good the cake is, but I don't mind at all."

Kedrick Suwa
Kedrick nodded thoughtfully, rubbing his stubble-less chin as he had a habit of doing. "yeah, I guess you're right...as always..." He said, "freezing it wouldn't do much good if the cake tasted like crud...." He pondered this for a moment before looking up at the clock. "we'll, I'd better turn in, I have to face the dreaded history test tomorrow in class.." He said with a sheepish smile. Kedrick stood to his feet and put his now empty bowl and spoon into the sink. He walked back over, pausing in front of Arielle for a moment. Kedrick leaned down and kissed her forehead gently, then pulled back, his face flushed. "g'night" He said, then quickly slipped up-stairs.

"I'm not always right," Arielle said with a small smile, "At least, I hope not." She added in a whisper as she listened to Kedrick and nodded in agreement. When Kedrick told her he was going off to bed since he had a history test tomorrow, she was about to wish him luck when he kissed her forehead and left. She waited till he had left the room and could hear his footsteps upstairs before she touched her forehead lightly and felt her cheeks warm. She then placed her dishes in the sink and washed her own and Kedrick's. When she finished, she headed up to her room and got dressed for bed before turning in. She touched her forehead again and stared at the ceiling with a smile before drifting off to sleep.

Kedrick Suwa
((oooh... sorry, It's been waaay to long since I posted last...the computer threw up in my lap...))
Kedrick walked up the steps to his room, running his fingers through his already tousled hair. " I can't... I mean, I shouldn't...yes, that's the word...shouldn't be falling in love with her...." He shook his head frowning. "she just, she's so...so...." He was tempted to say the word perfect, but his mother had always told him that no one was ever perfect. oh...but if anyone was close, Arielle was. Kedrick smiled a bit. not quite knowing what to do with himself, so instead of thinking about what he should and shouldn't be doing, He began getting himself ready for bed. He pulled off his shirt, changing into a clean one to sleep in, and brushed his teeth. Then Kedrick flopped side-ways onto his bed, staring up at the ceiling. "I'll tell her tomorrow...that... I...love her..."
