"Here's a rainbow," Shizu said doing the "imagination" thing from spongebob.

Shizu burst out laughing after the message had played.
"Well," she said after a couple of seconds, "I guess whoever has the scarf has Gabe as well. If we get the scarf, do we have to bother with Gabe?"

Shizu caught onto a scent she suspected to be the theif's.
"Well, either way we're going this way..." she said pointing further west.

"Because, deary, we needed a princess, and they're in such short supply these days, so you're the closest thing we've got." Aphrodite said with a shrug, "don't worry, though, we haven't told your lover where you are so he'll be nice and worried about you." She then winked and left the room, locking it behind her.

The pair walked onward, hand in hand, and as it was getting dark, they reached another town. this made Shizu a bit upset because she had been looking foward to sleeping in the open, but an inn was always welcome for its relative safety. Shortly after entering the castletown, some minor gaurds spotted them and came running over.
"Okay," one of them whipered to Shizu, "you're obviously new here, but same sex couples aren't allowed here by order of the king, now I would really HATE to have to clap you two in irons to be stoned at the gates, so just pretend not to be involved with each other while you stay here, okay?"
Shizu stared at the man indignantly.
"I'm to do what now?"
"QUICKLY! The captain of the guard is coming! RRGH!" He chopped their hands apart just as the captain showed up.
"Private! What's going on here?"
The gaurd saluted, "nothing sir! Just a couple of travelers asking for directions to the nearest inn! I was about to tell them, sir!"
"Good, good, carry on then."
As the captain walked away, the gaurd ushered them to a plain looking inn, that was actually not the nearest inn.
"What's the meaning of this??" Shizu demanded as she was ushered into the lobbey.
"This place is a safe space for people like us." He responded quietly, "It's underground though.... We're not safe anywhere other than places like this, once we get further inside we can talk more freely."

Shizu saw Tsipora's confused expression and gave a quick explanation of homophobia, using stupid about five-million times.
"My, what marvelous place did she come from? I'm Daffyd. by the way." The gaurd said dreamily before glancing at a clock and hurrying off to resume his duty. Just as he left, a woman appeared behind the counter.
"Will you two be in want of rooms?" She said, looking them over cautiosly.
"One room will do." Shizu said walking up to the counter, "is it true what Daffyd said about the homophobia in this counr=try?"
the woman nodded grimly, "our current king is a huge homophobe. He had my lover locked up during a parade."

"So," the woman behind the counter said leading them upstairs, "After you've made yourselves at home, I'll show you to the rest of our allies. Will you join our cause?"
"Sure," Shizu said almost automatically, "this won't be the first homophobe I've thrashed, nor the first king I've overthrown."
Their room was the usual inn room, just a bed, a table and a chair. Note: a bed.
"Washroom's down the hall," the woman continued, "here's your key, come to the first floor when you're ready, the password is 'converse with the undertaker.'"

the woman turned around suddenly, "When did I ever mention a cook?"
Shizu covered Tsipora quickly, "Well, in all the past inns we've been in there's been a cook, so she just assumed you had one."
"Oh..." the woman said quietly, "and yes. It is. they threw his lover in jail just yesterday."
