 Michiko moans and grabs Erik's hair. Michiko should be refusing him, for her blood was wrong, evil, but the warmth of his skin, the touch of Erik's lips. She couldn't help to melt... But, what of the power in your blood? Are you sure it will not harm him? Or better yet... The thoughts in the back of her head awakened her to another possibility, making Michiko pull herself away from Erik.... "Erik, I want you to hear something. After that you can choose whether you really want me..." Michiko explained quickly...

Michiko ignores the red irritation in Erik's eyes... Erik has to know what he may be getting into...Michiko thought... "Kurokami, or 'Black God', relates us to the shinnigami, or 'Gods of Death'. The first of the Kurokami clan were Shinnigamis who were sent to the Earth together to take form of humans and deliver the black disease amoung the mortals. Being on Earth to long the felt human emotions and fell in love with each other..." Michiko stopped to make sure Erik was keeping up...

Michiko paused before, holding back tears...
"What changed was me. The moment I existed, I was meant for death. Other family members would die younger, and I heard that when I would go outside near humans, deadly tragedies would occur. My parents fired human workers and tried to send all my family members away, but it was too late. Things were set in motion, I was set in motion..."

Michiko continued, not really able to stop.... "If I was normal, getting weaker Shinnigami spirit, I would have lived to forty. But, I am as strong as the original Shinnigami, maybe even stronger. Now my family is dead. My parents were supposed to have thirty-five years together, they died in their own flames at twenty. I was condemed to die next year, but now I have an idea...."

Before Michiko told Erik, she asked... "So you are willing to help me in any way?" Michiko asked "Of course!" Erik replied "Why?" Michiko asked sternly "What! What do you mean why?" Erik asked a bit angrily "Why do you want to save my life? I refuse to tell you the way to save my life until you answer me 'why'. What may be done can be hard, maybe painful. If your answer is worth the price I can give it to you. Now tell me Why?" Michiko said sternly, but her eyes decieved her, showing how much she wanted the answer correct from him...
