Ken thought back to it, realized what it was he had promised, and laughed, smiling at her. He wrapped an arm around her neck and pulled himself up to kiss her on the chin. "Ah yes." he said softly. "I remember. Want to make good on that promise now?" he whispered, kissing her on the cheek.

Ken chuckled. "The village can survive for a few hours without you being in your office, yeah? So why don't we take a nap afterwards? That way we can still be comfortable." he offered with a warm smile.

Ken laughed. He knew it would. "Come on then." he said. He sat up and grinned mischievously. "Put your arms around my neck." he said. Once she had, he wrapped his arms around her and picked her up off the bench, and carried her back toward the house. He'd get their bowls of rice later.

Ken laughed. "I'm not going to drop you." he said with a smile. It was nice that they could still smile and have a good time, even with all the danger hanging over their heads. He carried her over to his room, lay her on the bed, and closed the door behind them. "Debating if I should take my leg off or not." he teased.

Ken laughed, seeing the look on her face. "You enjoy this far too much." he teased, putting a hand on her bare shoulder...
A while later, Ken lay with his arms around her. He'd opened the window to let some air into the room. One hand gently stroked her hair. "Damn." he teased with a grin.

Ken laughed softly, smiling at her. "We gotta be careful, or we're going to have to deal with a mini version of one of us." he teased, not knowing that there already was a mini version of them on the way. He kissed her on the cheek. "Get some sleep, babe. I'll be right here."

Ken laughed softly. He kissed her on the forehead, and began to think. He needed to get into these next chuunin exams. It wasn't a goal, it wasn't a wish, it was a necessity. He wasn't going to stay as a twenty-year-old genin forever. No. He needed to get stronger, to become a chuunin so he could move on, not just because he wanted to be stronger, but because he would need to protect things. His village. His family. His soon-to-be-wife, Sosay, and, should they get one, their child.
A few minutes later he kissed her eyes lightly and fell asleep.

XXXXXA few hours later, her eye's opened slowly. At first everything was blurry to her but soon settled in. Sitting up, she felt Ken's arm fall beside her. She rubbed the sleep out of her eye's as she looked around. They were in Ken's room still. Being quiet, she got up, making sure not to wake him. Pulling on some clothes she found a piece of paper and then a pencil. Writing:
Ken,
Woke up before you so I decided I needed to do something. Don't know when I'll be done, but don't worry I'm safe. In the meantime why not do some... yeah I got no clue what you could do. Sorry hun.

XXXXXSosay then walked over to where Ken lay, and placed it on the pillow beside him. Leaning in and giving him a light kiss on the lips, she turned and left. Leaving the compound and heading somewhere she hadn't been in a while.
