Savanah looked at Dimitri. "So, your Russian, eh? Speak something."
Dimitri blinked. Well she's strait forward. "What?"
She smiled. "Ohh, I like that. Speak more words."
Dimitri looked at her strangly. He looked at Coal. Coal shrugged. "She loves accents. You'll have to get used to that. One time, a Brittish exchange student came to our school, and she followed him around every where, making him talk."
Dimitri nodded, slightly scared. Melody sat herself on top of Rudi, and looked at Jet.
"I'm shorter then you, Jet." She murmured. She stood up again, walked over to him, and made him stand up. She stood close to him, their nose's touching, and measured out with her hand. The side of her hand bumped his forehead, indicating that they had about a half an inch height difference. She sat back down on Rudi. "I told you. Hey Dimitri, how tall are you?"
Dimitri turned a cool gaze on her. "6'10."
She gapped. "Holy pink."
Coal burst out laughing. "What the hell? 'Holy pink'?"
Rudi smiled. "You know Victoria's Secret? How they have the pink line? She says that sometimes."
Melody wagged her eyebrows. "Rudi loves Victoria's Secret."
Savanah gagged. "Yeah, too much information."
Melody laughed, and propped her eblow on Rudi's shoulder.
Teyson came down the stairs, and was walking into the living room when he saw Dimitri. He smiled. "Hey. New guy?"
Savanah nodded. "Yup. Dimitri, this is my cousin Teyson. Teyson, this is the new kid, Dimitri. Listen to him talk!"
Teyson looked at Coal. "He has an accent, doesn't he?"
Coal nodded. "Russian."
"s**t sickles." Teyson cringed. "I feel for ya, dude. Run while you can."
Dimitri let himself a ghost of a smile touch his lips. He didn't show emotion that much. He was just a neutral guy. Savanah crawled over Coal, and sat beside Dimitri. She poked his chest. "Speak, boy."
"He's not a dog. Oh, wait. Never mind." Teyson sat between Kaidne, and Rudi.
"Yes, now speak, or get a rolled up news paper." Savanah demanded.
Dimitri internally shrugged. "Your exccentric."
She smiled, pleased. "And....?"
He cracked a wry grin. "Amusing."
Savanah looked around. "You hear that? I'm amusing. Not annoying. Amusing. Remember this."
Coal smaked the back of her head. "Your also annoying. Very much annoying. Now, leave the kid alone. He just got here, and he doens't need to be harrassed."
Dimitri stood up, and went to find Jorden. When he found him, he spoke in a respectful, and smooth voice.
"I apoligise for upsetting you. I have every intention to obey you, and your rules. I will try do everything I can to help." He murmured, and left.
Dimitri was very sweet. He just didn't talk much. He is like Teyson in that way, and Coal too. Except they love to joke around, and Dimitri take's everything serious. Like, EVERYTHING. Smiling is rare, and is like 'Holy crap! I saw his teeth!'

Melody sprang up, and flung herself at Kaidne. She was screaming, laughing, hugging, and hopping around.
"OHMIGAWD, I'M GOING! I'M GOING! I NEED TO GO NOW!" She squealed. "OHMIGAWD! WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN WHEN WHENWHENWHEN???!!!!!"
Rudi stood up, and grabbed the overly excited Melody. He looked apoligetically at Kaidne. "Sorry. She has always wanted to get off the continent, no matter where it was. You like her, hero now. Get used to it."
Melody kicked Rudi in the shin, escaped from his grasp, and ran back to Kaidne. "I LOVE YOU! WE NEED TO GO NOW." She snarled.
Rudi shifted, and tackled Melody into the ground. He shifted back, and pinned her. "Settle down you pip squeak!"
She kissed him, hard and long. It was one of those kisses that made you want to look away and clear your throat.
Dimitri had just came into the room then, and was staring at the scene in shock. Savanah went over to him, and leaned on his side.
"Get used to his, hun. Melody is usually the quiet, calm, sensible one, but, as you can see, we all have our faults. Why, just before you came, I was rolling on the ground, on a caffeen high." She said as-a-matter-of-factly like.
Dimitri let himself smile. "As I can see."
Savanah smiled up at him, and turned back to watch as Rudi and Melody kept kissing on the floor. Teyson started kicking their sides, to see what happened. No effect, whats-so-ever. Ew.
Dimitri folded his arms across his chest, leaning on the wall. He watched for a while, then decided he wanted to speak again, to make Savanah happy. "Is this everyone here? Or are their others?"
Savanah nodded. "Yeah, Adrian, and his friend are in LA right now, doing some stuff. Adrian is a were, and his friend, who I nearly hate, is a human."
He pondered this. "Why do you nearly hate him?"
Savanah shrugged. She didn't want to say anything about the kiss. "He's annoying, and its not easy for me to like humans. Not anymore. But Williem, the butler, he's freaking awesome. Just, don't get him mad. He's pretty scary, for a human. And you've seen what Micheals' like." She laughed.
Dimitri's eyes smiled down at her. "Interesting. How is he annoying?"
She shrugged again. "He just buggs me a lot."
Dimitri looked around. "This is an interesting house. Did I hear something about Hawaii?"
Savy grinned. "Oh, yeah. Kaidne's grandma asked us if we wanted to go to Hawaii. You wanna come? Melody's all for it, as you can see. She's publicly celebrating, and its kinda freaking me out."
Dimitri smiled again. He was shocked at so happy he was around her. "Interesting. Hawaii...I've never been there before. I've been to Siberia, in Russia." He offered.
She snorted. "Isn't it like, Antartica there?"
He mock sighed, like he was so used to this question. "I went to the southern part of Siberia. Its about the same climante there, as it is in Minnesota."
She shook her head. "Nope. Its freezing. I know it is."
He grinned. "Okay, look it up."
"Don't have to, I know I'm right." She smiled up at him.
He shook his head, exasperated. "Your a handful, aren't you?"
She blew him a kiss. "You catch on fast, new guy."
Teyson looked up from Rudi and Melody. "Savanah, help me before clothing starts to come off. Its been five minutes!"
Savanah laughed. "Coming!" She looked back at Dimitri. "Hey, look, if you need anything, you can come see me. My room's easy to find. It has my name on it." She grinned, and went to help her cousin pry Rudi and Melody off of each other.
Dimitri watched Savanah closely. He liked her. A lot. She made him smile. That didn't happen. No one made him smile, beside's his father. He decided right then, that he was going to like it here.

Savanah grimaced. "Okay, I'm not prejudgidice, or anything, but, ew. I am not okay, with PDA. Or, well, besides like a hug, or cute little kiss, but what is going on here is just wrong."
Dimitri pulled her back to his side, keeping his voice low so only she heard. "I agree. Are they all...coupled?" He motioned to the people.
Savanah made a motion to with her hand to indicate, 'so-so'. "Eh, pretty much. Kaidne and Jet are together, Melody and Rudi are together, Jorden is alone, Micheal is with Mr. Scary Dude Johnathin, Teyson is single, Coal and I used to date, but now we're just friends." She smiled. "Coal is fun. He's like, that kind of guy that you could have dated, broken up, and still be cool." She smiled happily.
Dimitri smiled back, a genuine smile. "That's good. You are good friends?"
She nodded, leaning on him. (As you can tell, Savanah is a leaner). "Yeah. Coal used to be like, take me back, for a while, but now he's cooled down. We're back to where we used to be. Really good friends. He's like my brother."
Dimitri felt pleased about that. He wasn't sure why. He wasn't sure what exactly he felt about her. He knew he already that he loved to talk to her, and to make her happy, but, why? He noticed she had let some of her beautiful, shocking blonde hair slip into her eyes, sheilding her bright, sharp purple gaze. He reached out, and brushed the hair away from her face, and pushed it behind her ear.
Savanah sucked in a sharp breath as his fingers brushed her skin. She stared up at him. He stared back down, amusment gone, his eyes burried in hers. She broke the stare too, a deep blush burning her cheeks. "Um, I should go check on Carter," She whispered, and escaped before Dimitri could do anything.
Dimitri watched her go, wondering what he did wrong.

Savanah hurried into her room, her cheeks flaming a bright red. What had happened back there? It was like, electricity had flowed through Dimitri's fingers, into her cheek. She could still feel it. She shook her head violently, and focused on Adrian. She loved Adrian. Adrian made her laugh, smile, and sigh. And, maybe that was just static electricity. She nodded. Yeah, that was it. Nothing else.
She climbed up onto the bed, using the ladder, and curled up in the middle, watching Carter's small chest move up...and down, as he breathed. His small face was gentle, and serene. Peaceful, that was the word. Usually he was so nervous, excited, or hesitant. It was nice to see him winded down. Was she like that when she slept? Was she that peaceful? Like Dimitri...
What the hell? She sat up, and pulled her knee's up to her chest. She didn't understand these things. She had only had one other boyfriend in her life. Coal. Coal was safe. Coal was home. Adrian was stable. Her new life. Her ties to her new home. She had no idea what, or even who Dimitri was. All that she knew, was that he was huge, silent, and very serious. He had looked at her with an expression that told her a million messages. The loudest was that he was taking her compeltly serious. He knew that there was a deeper Savanah, inside the fillipant one she showed most of the world. How did he know that? Why did he make her feel so confused, and anxious?
She shook her head violently. She wanted Adrian back. Something stable. But she didn't want to ruin his time back at his old home. She couldn't do that to him. She refused to. He hadn't done anything about her trip back home, had he? No. And he was freaking out the whole time. No, she'll just have to deal with it. Focus on him coming back. Try to stay away from Dimitri.
A knock at her door made her jump. "Come in!"
The door opened, but Savanah couldn't see who was there, with the ledge of the bed too far away.
"Savanah?"
She froze up. It was Dimitri. "Yeah?" Her voice was softer. Hesitant. She crawled to the edge of the bed, and leaped down, not bothering with the ladder. She actually wasn't sure why she got it in the first-oh yeah. Carter.
Dimitri stood in the middle of the room, gazing around. He was impressed. She could tell. The halloween inspired attire made that smile she knew people didn't see much, or at all really, was on his face. She leaned against the door, which had somehow closed, watching him silently. She wasn't sure what she was going to accomplish with this, but whatever.
Dimitri stopped gazing, and turned his dark, serious, steady gaze on her. "Interesting. Did you get this from a magazine?"
She shook her head, wary. "Uh, no. I designed it myself."
He smiled again, softer, as his mind wandered else where for a fraction of a milisecond. He refocused, that gaze sharpening again. "You could get a job with this. Its...fantastic."
She shrugged. "Maybe with horror sets, or something for goth stuff, but not real rooms. There's a lot of people out there who hate this stuff. Not that I personally understand it, but you know. That's just how it is."
He brushed that off. "There are also a lot of people out there that would love it."
"Are you gothic?" She looked at his dark washed jeans, black tee, and leather duster. Kind of...cowboyish. Jet would aprove.
Dimitri shrugged. "I wouldn't say that. I'm not Goth. Or...what is it....eno?"
"Emo." She corrected.
He smiled again. "Emo. I'm not those things, but that doesn't mean I can't aprove of it, or enjoy it."
She watched him. "Why are you so serious about everything? Doesn't it get...I dunno, stressful, to be so neutral? Why not cut loose, spazz out, something."
He grinned. "Being neutral isn't a bad thing. It lets you...see more. Concentrate more. Get more information. I've had years of practice."
"How?"
He shrugged, not clarifying. She got the messge that he was done talking. Not because of the subject, but because he just wasn't used to being so chatty. It was abnormal for him. But as Coal, and Teyson had said, she loved his accent. She really wanted to go to Scottland, and just listen to people. She is a strange girl.
Dimitri wasn't quite finished talking though, just yet. "Did I upset you earlier?" He said, his deep, accented voice laced with concern.
She looked down at the floor. "Um...its okay. You didn't upset me, but-"
He nodded, understanding. He just figured she didn't want that yet. Not that she had a boyfriend. He smiled, a bright, shinning smile. She felt her breath falter for a second, then it was gone. Hidden by his full lips. He walked up to her, took her arm, and gently pulled her from the door. He slipped out without a word, leaving Savanah there to question her sanity.

Savanah gapped. "Love? Love? I just met the guy! I bearly know him!" She growled, overwhellmed. But he was right. She shut the door, and leaped up onto the bed. Carter was still fast asleep. She smiled, happy he hadn't heard the exchange between her and Dimitri, and Johnathin. She didn't want him to worry, because he worried about everything that concerned Savanah. It made her smile. But she wasn't smiling now. In fact, she was close to screaming. She curled up in a pile of pillows on the far corner of her huge, almost floating bed. She streached out her legs, and pulled out her iPhone. She stared at Adrian's number for the longest time, then decided a quick text wouldn't kill anyone. It would make her feel better, in fact. She nodded. Yeah. Just a text. Nothing that would bother him, or take him away from his home. Just something to tell him that she was thinking about him.
She started typing: Hey, Adrian. Its me. Its pretty normal here. Well, as normal as it can be here. I had my first cup of coffee, and freaked out. Coal kicked me, and I felt better. Jorden's freaking out over his violen crap. I gave Williem a whip, (run man!), and we have a new guy. His name is Dimitri, and he's Russian. Love accents. Just ask Teyson, or Coal. Jorden almost killed him, because he thought Dimitri was someone else. Hope everything is going good in LA. Love you. Oh, and tell Andrew that if he so much as touches more then your arm, I will eat him alive. smile I haven't killed anyone, or anything yet. I got my room finished. Its pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. You like, totally need to see my bed. Its AWESOME. I want to decorate Jet's side of the room, but he won't let me. Oh, and speaking of Jet, its offical. Melody is shorter then him. He's pretty pleased about that. Kind of sad. Poor midgit. Kaidne's being retarted. He got some syrup, and gave it to Jet. Who chucked it. I'm kind of scared for their well being. But then again, who here has well being? Beside's Carter, and Melody, and Rudi, when he's not all drugged up. Jet....well....I guess Jet. Not Jorden. Not Micheal. Maybe Williem....not sure. Well, anyway, I hope your having fun. Don't text back if your busy. Tell Liz I say hi, and hope she's feeling good. I still don't like Andrew, but I don't hate him. Kind of. You be good, or Jorden will eat you. And I'll eat him, because he ate you. Then Micheal will eat me. Then Coal will eat him. And then-well its a long list, and involves many people being eaten and dying, and it would all be your fault. No pressure. smile Just saying.

Savanah laughed, smiling. She did feel better. She texted back, Andrew: Yeah, I'm laughing. Make sure he's not dead. Well, yet. If he dies, I reserve the right to kill him. Just saying. twisted Anyway, tell him I love his baby, and I say to Liz: Our friend has syrup for her waffles. Haha. Don't hurt my boyfriend, or I will kill you. And I will also kill you if you don't send me more pic's of him being an idiot. Or well, himself. See you guys. TTFN!!! Savanah.
She put her cell in her pocket again, and got off the bed. She started wandering around the house when she ran into Teyson. He smiled. "Hey, I was looking for you. What's up?"
She looked at him. "Why do you automatically assume something's up?"
"Because you've got that expression on your face." He smiled. "So, tell your cousin."
She rolled her eyes. "Adrian's being stupid, as usual. He ran into a wall, and Andrew sent me a pic of it. Liz is doing good, and his mom doesn't hate him. And his dad gave him 'the talk'."
Teyson laughed. "Well, sounds like everything is....good?"
"As good as any of us can do." She shrugged. "Have you seen the new guy?" She said tentitivly.
He nodded. "Oh yeah. He just got his room. He's sharing it with me."
She nodded. That ment he was on the other side of the house. Good. "Cool. Are you sure you don't want to decorate your room like I did?"
He shook his head. "Not yet. I've got a roomie now."
"Well, what about your side of the room?"
"Savyanna, I can wait until he gets settled in." He grinned. "What's the rush?"
"The freaking bank and credit card company are being paranoid because I'm not spending as much as I usually do, and I have enough cash to buy the country."
"Well, I doubt that, but shouldn't they be more paranoid if you spend more money? Because of the ressecion we're in?"
"Whatever. They're being stupid, and they want me to be in debt." She said stubbornly.
"Okay, whatever you say." Teyson laughed, and they started heading downstairs. "You hungry? I don't want to ask Williem for anything because you gave him that goddamned whip."
"Anything to spend money, my cousin." She louped her arm through his.
He laughed, and they went into the kitchen to congure up some food.

When Savanah and Teyson had eaten, staying far away from Williem, then crashed on the couch. Savanah looked at Joey. "Poor kid. Don't worry. Kaidne will probably get hit by a bus or something." She smiled. "I can push him!"
Teyson elbowed her in the side. "You know you like him."
"Not enough to save his life." She grinned. "Or preserve it."
He shook his head, exasperated. "There is something mentally wrong with you, cousin."
"Yeah, its called being turned into a wolf. That kinda messes with your sanity." She ripped open a chip bag that she had found, and popped one into her mouth. "Ohhhh.....Lays.......salty goodness......" She grinned.
Teyson stole a handful, rolling his eyes. "Your so stupid sometimes."
"You know, you could say something stronger then stupid, like, retarted, or dumbass, or something." She said around a mouthfull of chips.
"And you could be more lady like." He grimaced.
"Then I wouldn't be me, now would I?" She grinned after swallowing. "Get used to it. I'm amazed you aren't already." She muttered, and turned back to Joey. "Soooooo......how's it going?"
Teyson stole more chips. "How do you like Dimitri?" He said, just as a topic.

Savanah snorted. "Well, I won't ignore him, because I never ignore a chance of me getting amused, but what intruiges me, is that Jet is 17? Really?" She mockingly gasped, like she was truely surprised. She put a hand to her chest, mouth gapped. "I thought he was 12! Well," She shook her head. "My mistake."
Teyson laughed, and chucked a chip at her head. She snatched it out of the air, and popped it into her mouth. "Burn." She sneered.
"Ohhhh, bbbuuuurrrrnnnn!" He made a face at her. She set the chips down, and tackled him. They tussled for a few minutes, then a voice intruppted them.
"Kill her!"
Savanah's head popped up. Coal grinned at her. "UH! You a**!" She cried, just before Teyson slammed her into the ground. She play snarled, and they rolled into the wall. Suddenly, Coal jumped into the fray, and they were all agaisnt each other, which made everything confusing. They weren't teamed up, or anything. It was every man for themselves.
As they did that, Dimitri entered the room. He looked down at the three. He could bearly make out their figures, they were moving so fast. He caught Coal's dirty blonde hair, Teyson's black hair, and Savanah's bright white hair. He shook his head, exasperated. He looked at Jet, and Joey, and just sat down, watching them fight.
