Remus muttered a long line of nasty words under his breath. He should have known better than to get his hopes up. Things were never easy, were they? Of course not. That's not how the universe worked. Once you thought you thought you had struck it rich, it was only fool's gold.
Still, Remus wasn't about to give up. Kaok never gave up on him, he sure as hell wouldn't give up on her.

The nobles were already making their way out of the room towards the fountain from which they had emerged. Emma's hands were curled into fists at her sides, her teeth gritted to avoid screaming from frustration.
The temperature around her would have been freezing had Hrothbert not thrown up a shield around her to prevent the icy chill from affecting anybody else.

Spent my days with a woman unkind,
Smoked my stuff and drank all my wine.
Made up my mind to make a new start,
Going to california with an aching in my heart.
As the Enchantress made to leave, sounds were coming from outside, among the screams that now sounded throughout the main room. For a moment, before metal security doors began to close and metal shutters close over all of the windows, a giant, winged reptillian creature could be seen landing on the ground outside, just behind the fountain. Shouts of 'beast' and 'dragon' carried on. The security system had kicked in almost immediately, and the house was now officially under a safe lockdown, but the guests were still very much afraid.
And the rescue party was stuck for the moment.Someone told me theres a girl out there

Remus didn't panic. Situations like this had become normal for him long ago. He wondered if anyone would actually combat the creature outside, or simply just cower behind well shielded walls. Then again, maybe the creature would just go away after awhile.

What felt like forever - to 'Catherine' anyhow - went by and the sound of the dragon moving around outside was still heard. The people had quieted down, as that generally bored the creature until he would move on. But soon more screams could be heard - from outside. It became quite apparent that there was someone out there.Someone told me theres a girl out there

"...well, ******** that." Emma muttered under her breath. The enchantress dove into a shadowy corner and right out of her body, collapsing against a wall where nobody could see her. Meanwhile, her spirit flew right past the locked doors and metal shutters, manifesting as nothing more than a puff of wind. She prayed that the beast was intelligent as she pushed gently against its mind, trying to encourage it to leave its quarry alone.

Remus wasn't about to let somebody die out there, even if this wasn't real. The Imperator began rushing for the front entrance, pushing past people. A few drinks were spilled in the process, but he didn't care.
"Open the door and let me outside." the Imperator said to the bouncers.

Chris would have pulled away from James and got her hammer ready for battle,
Of course she couldn't, She had promised.
Frustrated at this fact and that James might go fight a dragon,
She grabbed his arm and turned him so he had to look in her eyes.
"You are NOT fighting whatever in hells name is out there!!"

The beast's mind didn't appear as compatible as the Enchantress might have liked, and it was scared by her presence. It flailed about even harder and roared even louder.
"We don't need to fight it, Chris, just avoid it long enough to get back through the fountain." He insisted, but if it came to fighting, he would die in here to get her out.
"They won't open, sir." The men tried to tell the Imperator. "The building's on lock-down."Someone told me theres a girl out there

"Well then, is there another way out that isn't locked down?" Remus asked, a threatening look in his eye. The bouncers may have been big, but the Imperator was more than confident he could knock them both out if need be.

Well, the bloody thing wasn't as intelligent as she had thought it would be. Only one more thing left to do.
With a quick exertion of will, Emma's spirit-form changed. Another (much larger) dragon suddenly reared up, roaring in defiance as it spread black-scaled wings streaked with violet. The enchantress smiled in grim satisfaction inwardly as she lashed her spiked tail and snarled at the other dragon. Hopefully the beast would get the idea now.

"Uhhh." The one on the left didn't respond quickly enough, giving him away. While there was no way out of the building through the normal entrances, there were certain passages to the outside of the building that the servants weren't supposed to know about. (At least one other did.)
The brute, in a moment of inexplicable cleverness, tried to drop a hint. "Sir, maybe you should head for the kitchen, and lay low for a little while, until this whole incident blows over. Keep your nerves down, you know."
The other one shook his head, they'd be whipped for this if Mr. Rightley ever found out.

The person stuck outside would find themselves surrounded by silver-blue energy and feel a strange yanking sensation. A few moments of disorienting magic later, they would be standing on the inside of the building, safe and quite far away from the spectacle beyond the shuttered windows.
Emma roared again, advancing on the other dragon, her claws sinking into the earth.

Chris kept staring into James eyes.
"If it comes to a fight, You are not going to fight, Got it?"
She was ready to run and drag James with her,
But she mostly prayed Emma could get the dragon to leave,
And not get killed while trying.

Remus smiled and nodded to the bouncer. He tossed him a single, gold Imperial.
"You're quite right. It would be better if I stayed safe. You're doing a good job of protecting everyone." he said and quickly made his way back towards the kitchen. After a few minutes of poking around, Remus found the door leading down to a cellar, and when nobody was paying attention, he made his way down.
