S'pose I'll have to wait for Arts to get to me on this one.
My realism's kicking in again sweatdrop I don't think the ignoring pain, or "it's only a graze, from a bullet" stuff is quite right If it's meant to be realism.
BUT! If we're aiming for a kinda anime/game style of combat then it kinda fits.
I know all the tech and stuff makes it hard, but defineing rules of combat earlier than later would stop peeps from going over board (not that anyone is, I think, maybe I have with the armoured guy lol, I donno) or not doing enough.
so Talking it over first could be an idea since most of us are used to Fantasy combat or Realism? 3nodding

I think I have to agree with you on that one, Giyari. That, or maybe some more detail besides the one line on ignoring the pain. Maybe a reaction such as her movement being slowed a little bit. Maybe Lise tried to justify it by saying Exa was similar to a berserker. (Edit: Meaning, getting shot only annoyed the hell out of Exa even more?)
Now, I do have a question about the gauntlets. How are they activated? Fiona's activated by the word "Sonitus?"

As much as I dislike the whole "that bullet to the gut didn't hurt" thing, I can allow this one. But she is going to be out of commission after the battle. Just because it doesn't hurt now, doesn't mean that it will never hurt. I'm going to go with delayed pain due to adrenalin. She's going to be screaming later.
@ giyari - The suited guy is fine. Besides he won't be around for long.
@ Scythe - Each shard is activated through it's true name. These are listed under the shard post. The gauntlates just let the shards be used so they're usless without that shard.
I think I got everything.
Edit - Also, Have at ye!

O_o;;; lol.
Umm, by any chance, does Exa's shard venom allow her to corrode debris?
Exa after adrenaline dies down: @.@ Edit: X.x
I think Exa is going to get yelled at a lot while she's in recovery because she's going to keep trying to get out of bed.

Unfortunately no. However, there's nothing to say that there was a lot of tunnel left. I was planning on Delany being hit by a large piece of rubble that lets you capture him. You can get away with minor cuts and bruises to add to the bullet wound. xd

OH! about the battle style thng XD i forgot to mention something. right so as far as i know there are two kinda basic combat systems widely used in RP. I cant remember the names so I'll just say "type 1" and "Type 2"
Type 1: Attacker attacks, and leaves it up to the target to whether it's a hit or miss, and to the severity. E.G. Attack: "bursting forward James threw a heavy punch towards that b*****d Mak's nose...." Outcome 1: "Mak felt the punch connect with the force of a brick at mach 4, it was all he deserved." Outcome 2: "Mak tried to dodge the punch, after all it wasn't his fault, but it caught him across the cheek, if it had hit square on he would have been out of it." Outcome 3: "Mak quickly dodged the punch, he knew what he had done, but he didn't care, James didn't deserve a woman like 'her' anyway."
So thats kinda how it works. The only bad thing is there is quite a temptation to auto dodge with this one, which would qualify as god modding. So you have to let your character take a beating if its needed and at least get knocked down a few times.
Type 2: The attacker attacks and deals out the damage. E.G. Attacker: "bursting forward James threw a heavy punch towards that b*****d Mak's nose, as his knuckles connected he felt the crunch of cartilage spread between them." Outcome: "Mak fell to the ground his nose broken and bloodied. He had learnt his lesson."
Problems with this one are that the temptation to out the opponent with one move is high, and its an automatic hit if you want it to be. So you have keep your attacks in mind when you're doing them an try to spread the fight out longer, cause its the fight its self thats fun biggrin .
I personally prefer Type 1, it gives more options throughout the fight and is less annoying, cause if you find yourself wounded pretty badly without wanting to be, you kinda feel bummed out and have nothing to do...
As for the pain threshhold, I think we shold keep them human, of course I can see why Exa's not feeling it due to her personality, but Ian for example wouldn't do as well, a bullet to the arm would have her swearing and reaching for medicals.
Concerning the suit, I think the 'anime/game' fighting works alot better :3

I'm not a fan of Type 2, as it's more prone to blatant god modding (and player disputes as you've implied), in my opinion anyway. I've only used Type 1 for that reason unless it's something obscure as grabbing someone's arm to pull them out of the way of something.

w00tfinaly we found a good reference for the 'screen' that's seen via the headsets for interface using your hands. obviously this can look however you want it depending on the use its needed for. E.G. Keyboard for typing, cross hairs and controls for turrets etcetera

Okay. After reading the past few posts, I think that minor editing can be allowed. This means that spelling, punctuation and stuff can be fixed. There will be no changing of major things though.
