(( Ok, well I'm gunna crash, it's been good playing with all of you. Night!))

((Yes, you must constantly keep up who has the core and you must RP handing it off. You can't just decide randomly at the end of Part 2. Whoever has the core, will have the core. That simple.))

(( I'll figure out what we can do about keeping Grabowski alive with Arc when it isn't 4:30am. Sound good?

We're effectively considering Matthias to hold the core after this post, for the sake of the part 3. ))

"Allright! Everyone back on the boat!" Matthias grinned while gesturing over his shoulder with his thumb. He walked over to Vincent, just as the large russian was slumping over form exaustion and his wounds. Matthias struggled a bit but caught his companion and helped him back to the helicopter. The magnetic hook should be enough to carry the robot back to the Weinberg & Associates corporate headquarters. Once everyone was on the Helicopter, he reeled the robot out of the building and gave the signal to take off.

Once he had the robot reeled in and pulled onto the deck of the helicopter (where it left very little in regards to room), he and the technician began disassembling it's hull to remove the core. Once freed, Matthias picked the core up with a wry smile and set it into his breifcase, which he then closed. His smiled grew wider and he hauled himself into one of the plush seats to strap himself in. He looked over to the pilot to ask how long the trip to headquarters would be, and was rather surprised.

He couldn't remember how to speak.

He blinked a few times in confusion. He could form the words in his head just fine, but couldn't make his mouth form the words. He tried to signal someone with gestures, but his ability to even make those sensible was completely removed. The technician looked at him and said something, but Matthias couldn't understand it. This was definately going to be an unusual trip...

((Okay. We can RP taking it from another character even if they're offline right? It'd be with permission of course.))

Vincent went back into the chopper via moss bridge and sat down, finally able to rest. Oh yeah, Matthias helped him. He didn't really notice though.

((Sure. But here's something I forgot. The Curse is both ways. You cannot communicate, in any fashion, at all, with anyone. And you cannont understand them at all. Not even gestures, body language, etc. There is no 'code' to how communication is garbled, so don't think there is some code you can break to get around the curse.))

Peter followed his friends to the helicopter. Suddenly quite a bit less energetic, he trudged more than walked the short distance, barely even seeming to notice the height as he moved into the vehicle. Once inside, he sat down and did little else but click his pen as the others got in.

"I'm at my old apartment - by the time I got back to the base, it was locked down. Decided to go and get some rest back home.

"He isn't responding? Damn. Don't know where he is, then. I left separately. I was camped out above a rather large hole some... robot, I think, made. Over that bunker we went to. You know, just so nobody got out.

"The other people there - Sey and Allen and a few other people, if I'm remembering the names right - decided to high-tail it out of there around the time I got your message. Got a ride from one of them.

"Charlie went running off and blew an entrance into a sewer, and I haven't seen him since."
There was silence on the other end for a moment, then the sound of a fridge door opening and closing.

"What happened over there? I saw some general destruction, but..."

"I got jewed by an old friend." Joseph said flatly.

"My fault for inviting trouble in, I guess." He barely sounded sincere, "I picked up one of the killer robots from Carter, turns out there's even more to it than we supposed. Robot was claiming to be a military man by the name of Grabowski, the guy who designed said robot. Least as far as I can remember."

Joseph had been wandering around, he swiped his card to open up the hidden lab. Or as it was now, the gigantic hole in the ground.

"s**t," The CEO ran his fingers through his hair, "But yeah. If it was an AI designed to keep Grabowski alive, or one of those freaky deeky spirit things. Anyway, Matthias Weinburg was chasing after him. Apparently all the good times we had together didn't dampen his willingness to break into my building. Hell, maybe that was the reason he didn't feel worried."

"All I know is he's gonna have to get me really drunk so I can forget this." He was back in the halls, surveying more of the damage. "I'm not sure if they just took Grabowski or if he's, for the lack of a better word, dead. But the robots gone and I have nothing but a totalled floor to show for it."

"Mm, sounds like you had a lovely time.

"Hey, I've got an idea!"
She didn't sound all that sincere, either. "Why don't we do what normal companies do, and throw a holiday party? Then we could all get drunk. Maybe invite that guy - Weinburg? - and throw him through that hole. It might be fun."

Elysia really didn't want to go to a "company holiday party." That involved socializing and maybe dressing up and having to be generally pleasant. The alcohol bit, though, was alluring. To a point.

"********" He swore under his breath, "Don't remind me of the company holiday party. Claire makes me write a speech and everything every goddamned year. At least we only serve two types of eggnog. Alcoholic and more alcoholic."

"But yeah, he's always been on the guest list. Even if he trashes your building you can't let a guy like Weinburg off your guest list. Especially after our misadventures at company parties over the year. Give him a cold shoulder then people get curious, and we have things here that we don't want people getting curious about."

"Bad for Matt, bad for us." He bent down to look at the Worker, hopefully the damage wasn't too bad.
