Tala jogged up besided Kai. "Present." He looked at brooklyn and waved.
Bryan looked at the Kai and Tala and raised an eyebrow.
Tala raised an eyebrow back. "Hello to you too, Bryan." Bryan grunted something. Tala rolled his eyes and looked back at Brooklyn.
"Ahh...what did you do to your legs?"

Brooklyn blinked, the small hope that he had had of the redhead not being present dying in his chest. "I-uh..." He said before looking up at Bryan again. "I want to walk." He told the Russian, hoping that he sounded vaguely authoritative and not like the shaking jellymass he felt like. "...please?" He asked semi-pleadingly.
Kai glanced down at Brooklyn's legs and whistled. "Jesus, what happened?" He asked, his attention caught up by trying to figure out why Brooklyn was looking like he was beginning to be mummified and not noticing the tone of the orange haired teen's voice.

Bryan raised an eyebrow at Brooklyn. He had no intention of letting the other down but sighed when he heard the other pleading with him.
"Whatever you want."
He put the other down gently and watched him, just in case he fell over.
Tala looked over at Kai and raised an eyebrow, smiling.
Nope, deffinitely doesn't care about the kid.

Brooklyn stood unsteadily on his feet, keeping near to Bryan for moral support and in case if he fell. "It's none of your business." Brooklyn told Kai, frowning.
He couldn't quite get to scowling because most of his attention was on the pain shooting up his legs.
Kai frowned back at Brooklyn, confused. What the hell is happening?he wondered as he unconsciously moved closer to Tala. "What do you mean by that?" He asked.
"Exactly what I said."
"Meaning?" Kai asked, raising an eyebrow.
Brooklyn opened his mouth but couldn't think of anything to say. "Meaning.... that...." He faltered and looked down, feeling inferior to Kai. He hated that the Russian could always get the better of him.

Tala looked from Kai to Brooklyn and back again, not sure what was going on. It was unusual for Brooklyn to stand up to Kai like this. Tala looked at Brooklyn as he looked down. Well, at least he was trying to stand up to Kai.
Tala opened his mouth to say something but decided to just stand by Kai for moral support.
Bryan frowned at Brooklyn and then looked up at Kai.
"He means that its none of your business, you don't need to know what happened."

"And I suppose that he'll let you know?" Kai asked, hurt. "I've never seen you speaking to Brooklyn before. How the hell do you fit into this story?"
Brooklyn looked up to glare at Kai. "Leave him out of this."
"Why? You didn't." Kai told him simply before looking at Bryan. "Be careful with him. If you do anything he thinks is wrong he'll tell the world."
Brooklyn shut his eyes and began to walk away from Kai. "Shutupshutupshutup!" He said quietly to himself as he felt the small explosions of pain rocket up his spine.

Bryan pinned Kai with a hard glare. "Thankyou, but i don't need your advice."
He turned and followed after brooklyn, putting a hand on one shoulder. "You okay walking?"
Tala looked after Bryan and Brooklyn and then looked at Kai, sighing.
"Well, i guess he doesn't want to talk to you."

Kai blinked. "You guess?"
Brooklyn was going well on that walking thing until Bryan walked up behind him. He had been concentrating on ignoring the pain before Bryan had interrupted his thoughts.
Brooklyn get a short yell of pain before he fell over, sparling on the floor.
Kai turned around at the sound. "s**t." He cursed before running back to where Brooklyn was. "Brooklyn!"

"Brooklyn!"
Bryan yelled at the same time as Kai, bending down quickly and gathering the other in his arms.
"Brooklyn?"
Tala's eyes widened at the sight before him and he raced over to the others.

Brooklyn glared down at his legs, pouted and sighed. "I hate this." He said quietly before looking up at Bryan. "Sorry." He whispered.
Kai stopped running, seeing that Brooklyn was alright. He watched Bryan and Brooklyn with a calculating, slightly jealous eye before turning on his heel and walking away.

Bryan smiled softly. "It's ok, just don't do that on me again, ok?" He picked brooklyn up again. "And don't think i'm putting you down again. So, which way's your house?"

Tala watched Kai walk away, looked over at Brooklyn and shrugged.
Bryan's looking after him.
He followed after Kai.
"Um..."

Kai looked across at Tala. "Mm?" He asked, still walking as fast as he could away from Brooklyn and Bryan. "What is it?"

Brooklyn nodded and looked to where Bryan was heading. "You get to the front of the school and turn left. Then you turn left again when you reach a funny yellow statue- then I'll direct you from there."
Brooklyn sighed and leant against Bryan's chest, closing his eyes. "You never did tell me why you were helping me." He reminded the Russian.

Bryan nodded and continued to walk, making sure he was heading the right way. He didn't answer the other's question right away, deciding to think about it.
They were outside and he still hadn't answered. He shrugged and continued to walk. He really didn't have a reason.

Tala blinked at Kai and then shrugged. "Oh, nothing. It's a good day for a jog." He narrowed his eyes at Kai as he was jogging beside him. "Cos, thats how fast you're walking."

Kai frowned and immediately slowed his pace. "No I'm not." He told Tala evenly, looking across at the redhead.

Brooklyn smirked. "A shrug isn't really a reason, Bryan." He told the Russian matter of factly. "So, if you won't tell me why you'll help me can you at least tell me something?"

Tala slowed down to a walk and rolled his eyes."Well now you're not." Tala shrugged. "ut if you want to go whereever you're going quickly that's fine by me. Just tell me next time." He grinned at the bluenette.
