lestatslover I can't say that I've had a movie nowaday scare me, but when I was younger I'd say the movie that scared me most was Child's Play. Is there any movies that scares or scared you? No, but there was one that was a little too much for me and it was Hostel.

I have to say, when I was younger the Nightmare on Elm Street gave me nightmares.
Nowadays you're lucky if they jump-scare you (which are great but they only suprise you really, no have-to-get-my-feet-off-the-floor-because-skeleton-hands-will-get-me deep down kinda scared) Movies now just seem to try and gross you out with mass amount of blood and guts instead of genuinely trying to scare your pants off.
Ahh to live in Vincent Price's day *dreams*

When I was a little kid, I watched Evil Dead with a friend and it scared the crap out of me. xd Now I just laugh at it.
A lot of horror movies can make me jump, but I've never actually screamed or anything. Most horror movies don't bother me. xd
Scary stories are worse than movies for me.

The last movie to really scare me was the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and that still does. Older stuff, Like The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, definitely give me chills, but not really scares.

Oh, God... Child's Play was the only movie that ever scared me. I was a little kid, and I got out of bed one night and watched it over my parents' shoulders... they had no clue I was there. Even worse, that Christmas my grandmother got me a collector's doll that looked exactly like Chuckie... including a mean little look on his face eek ... and my mother wonder's why I decapitated that thing. blaugh

You mean like a recent movie? Not really... I did get a little jumpy though when I was watching The Grudge 2 a few weeks ago, and the only light that was on in the room suddenly went out. eek The weird thing is the bulb did not give out--- it worked fine the next day!
Also the dolls in Dead Silence were very creepy to me. I find moving dolls really freaky, but it didn't really SCARE me.
When I first saw Child's Play, I was about 10 or so and was helping my sister babysit for the neighbors, at night. I had to go get something in the basement--and they had a "My Buddy" doll down there!!

The Grudge. Then again I have a huge fear of something comming and grabing me out of my bed, so.... Oh yeah and 28 Days Latter. Zombies scare the s**t out of me. And yes I know they were not "technically" zombies but they were close enough and they ran!

I agree with Cutlass_kate about The Grudge. That whole bed thing was really scary, mostly because that lady did exactly what I would have done and she still got killed.
Also, 1408 scared me pretty badly. But they're only scary to me while I'm watching them, then I forget about it. Then, a week later, they come back into my mind and keep me awake for three days.
