She looked at him for a moment, almost as if she was going to say something more to him. Instead she shook her head and began walking. She made sure to keep heading in the same direction they had been traveling in before.

He followed her in silence, once again unsure of what to do or what to say.

She walked in silence for quite some time. They were steadily getting closer to the lake, maybe about half way there. She sighed and stopped. "I'm sorry I flipped out on you back there. It's just I keep thinking that you'll forget all your old traditions just because you left the Drows. But it'll take a whole lot of time for you to break free of them..... I guess I'm not patient at all." She said looking at him.

"But still. You should be living by standards you set not me." She said with a small smile. It grew and finally she laughed. "I'll have to use some of your patience. I have a feeling that I'm going to need a lot more than what I have."

"Well we're going to be in a pickle if we need medical care. I'm not great with it either... can't say I'm a great patient too." She smiled at him and shrugged, "Anyways... I think we're getting close to the lake. Should get there either late this evening or tomorrow."

She paused to look at him. "If we get there tonight we can. You know I've heard whispers from other females that doing that is a very romantic thing. I wouldn't know since I've never done such a thing before." She gave him a sly smile, "Are you trying to get us to see the sun rise at the lake?"

She laughed a little and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Why that's very sweet of you.... and romantic. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing the sunrise at the lake." Didn't truly cross her mind that he might be trying to court her.

He thought his cheek would ignite where she'd kissed him. It stirred up feelings in him that made him want to hide her away so no one else would find her and try to take her from him. Totally uncharacteristic for his people. "I am glad you find the idea to your liking. He timidly reached for her hoof as he started walking toward the lake again.

"What's not to like?" She asked with a laugh, "Okay I admit the fact that we'll be up at the crack of dawn isn't too appealing but it's not everyday a guy asks a girl to see the sunrise." She allowed him to take her hoof and smiled at him.
