Edit* Torruun rushed to the docks and stopped in just infront of Aki, and said, "I-I'm here. Did I miss anything?" Torruun asked obviously unknowing he was not late.

Aki looks startled as Torruun suddenly appears in front of her, but she smiles at him in greeting.
"Not at all, we're just waiting for everyone to arrive," she replies.

Torruun was relieved to hear that he wasn't late. He then took a deep breath, and sat down on the ground nearby. "Oh man. I thought for sure I'd be late..." Torruun said to himself. "You really have to stop talking to yourself, Torr." Zil said to him laughing from inside his mind. Torruun just grumbled, and pouted. "Aww. Did I upset you?" Zil said afterward, following with a giggle.

Lee stood off to the side, watching as everyone arrived. Some faces seemed familiar, but she really didn't know anyone. Instead of trying to start up meaningless small talk, she looked out over the sea. Her old country was landlocked, so the only time that she saw the sea was on rare vacations to the seaside countries. The water sparkled in the sunrise, bringing back memories of when her family was whole, before she had grown up, before politics and customs so old no one remembered where they came from or what their significance was. She dug out her locket from her shirt, and tried for probably the thousandth time to open it; but again to no avail. She sighed and leaned on the railing, staring out across the sea.

Hunter look around the dock as he tried to remember all the fun he had running around the docks as a child since he was from Balamb 'I never thought I would be standing here at the docks again, It been so long since I came back to Balamb and it feels good to be here for the time being' Bahamut FURY started to stir around in Hunter's mind as he been quiet for some time now but didn't want to speak

OOC: Is this working? I totally just posted a nice big paragraph! oh well, here it is....again xp
"So what kind of monsters are we going to learn about today?" Lee asked, turning from the view. She thought it was a pretty pointless question, they would be debrifed on their trip eventually, but focusing on work stopped her mind from wandering off into her subconcious. Her worst and best memories were stuffed back into that dark spot. She didn't want to think about them, to feel about them. Ever since the fires, she stopped showing her emotions, her face always displaying a look of, well nothing. No matter what happened, she wouldn't cry, or scream for joy. She might give a slight laugh here or there, but emotions of the extreme spectrum were banned from her face and body language. It wasn't the best coping mechanism, but it brought back routine, regularity, and control in her life. Delving into the dark corners of her mind risked that control, and she wasn't about to lose that.

 Tia hurried as fast as her legs would take her. Panting, she ran past people who gave her an odd look, but she ignored them. I'm not late, please! It wouldn't do to look tardy in her first class.
Turning the corner from the inn, she saw the docks, and slowed down momentarily. People were standing there, the Headmistress, she recognised, who was also this class's teacher. A wave of relief came over her and she skidded to a stop by the group of people.
She gave a breathless smile, then rested her hands on her knees, trying to regulate her breathing.
"I'm sorry... if I'm late...Headmistress," she panted. "I was...training..."

"Nope, still early," Aki says to Tia, greeting her with a smile.
She turns to Lee and says, "We'll mostly be studying the monsters around the Bika Snowfields, which most commonly are Mezmerize and Gaylas. But we'll probably run into Snow Lions as well, and if we're up for it, we can try finding a Blue Dragon."

Ramza walked towards the training center, brushing his red hair out of his face. He double-checked to make sure he had all of his weapons. His main gunblade was strapped to his back in its sheath, and his twin Gundaggers were on his hips, under his trenchcoat.
He waved his hand in a two-fingered salute from his forehead in the direction of Aki, the teacher. He grinned, asking softly and shyly, "I'm not late, yet am I?"

Torruun looked around scanning the faces of everyone around him. He wanted to socialize, and make friends, but he felt out of place. He thought that he'd probabley make an a** out of himself if anyone were to reject him publicly. Torruun just felt that it wasn't his place to encroach on everyone else's territory.

As she looked around, she noticed a young man also looking around the group uncertainly. He seemed easy to talk to, and she stepped towards him confidently, an inviting smile on her face.
"Hi," she said brightly. "I'm Tia."

Torruun swallowed hard as Tia approached him. When she gave her name, Torruun answered, "Hello. M-My name is Torruun. Umm..." Torruun looked down at the ground as he tried to think of something to talk about.

Tia tilted her head, a puzzled look on her face. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Torruun..." she trailed off, wondering what was wrong with the guy.
As he looked down at his feet, she realized that he might be a shy person, and she gave a soft, kind laugh.
"I'm not going to bite, you know." she said, good-humouredly.
