"Damn stupid Kazekage..."

Akeru was semi-brooding at the fact that the new Kage had left her behind; not because of her failure at the exams or because of how she terrorized the populace with her genjutsu, but because she was a woman.

"It's definitely time for me to stop messing around. I'll show that b*****d who the real ninja is. I'll get stonger, faster, master my Tenraigan...hey, why am I sitting here saying it when I could be doing it?"

The only problem was Akeru had never really done any strength or speed training, and she wouldn't really know how to go about improving them. For now she'd have to work on more techniques. Maybe Akira would be able to help her when he got back, but for now she'd have to start on her own.

Ai sighed lightly, she has been asked, no told, by the
kazekage to stay behind. She had been walking around
the training grounds, kicking up dirt as she walked. The
wolf that always followed her had been sitting in the shade
of a medium sized boulder. Ai sighed, she had saw the
medium sized boulder and decided that would be her
opponent for the day. She stood still and looked at the
boulder, wondering what she should do in order to get rid of
the fastest and most effective. She then decided on just
using her main element, wind.

She wanted to just make it disappear. She then stood still
closing her eyes, and focusing on the rock as a whole, she
then imagined the boulder imploding into a million pieces and
becoming just a pile of sand. As soon as Ai opened her eyes
she said calmly and swiftly, like wind itself,
"Wind Force Punch" and as
she said this she lunged forward and stopped her fist inches
away from the boulder. But unfortunately the impact was not
as great as she had expected and the boulder was only cut
up into five pieces, instead of a million.

"Erg! Why can't I be as strong as i
should be"
Ai said walking away from the
boulder, as she did the wolf followed her, agitated that his
shade spot had been destroyed.

tunya looked at him "still think we should wait....heard you can get them to deliver so maybe send one of those messenger racoons, that might work." he said after a while. he looked round after hearing a smash, he saw a smashed boulder,a girl and a wolf.

Ai looked up sensing someone near by, she sighed seeing a
boy. She continued to walk and then decided to stand next to a
boulder, the sun was beating hard and she needed to get out
of the sun, the wolf was fine because he used ai's constant
wind chakra to keep himself cool. She sighed and kept walking
until she found a larger boulder, smiling she ripped off one of
her sleeves and rolled it up, using it as a head rest, it was at
least ten degrees cooler in the shade and that was just fine
to her.

Stu started to get psche."Hell ya she seems a good type to rumble with. He jumped of the cliff falling and while he was he mumbled the correct distance from ahim and the ground. When he was a couple feet from the ground he grabbed his katana and jammed it into the wall giving him a perfect landing."Hey you! he said.'' He then pulled out the his katanas and got in to position. He then launched at the girl with half of his power.

Ai opened one of her eyes, sensing an insignificant amount of
power. She sighed as she slowly pulled herself up. She cracked
her neck and stood still waiting for the boy to get close to her
as he was heading towards her she began to multiply her
chakra. And began to make hand seals.

Stu started to go over the rules of his clan. Fule number one:Always observe your enemys abilities first. Rule number two: Come up with strategy before using bloodline. And rule number three biggrin ont show your chakra levels and use bloodline when oppements in range. He went over them in his head while waiting for the ninja to finish. He knew it might be rough but he tricked her. His chakra levels were actually high because of his clan, but he learned how to hide it and make it unnoticable. 'He hasnt used his bloodline in forever so he was dying to use it.

[Ai's bloodline makes it so she can sense chakra levels even
if they are hidden, and since she is also under the perception
path so her ability is heightened]

Ai finished her hand seals but waited, the boy wasn't close
enough to her for her attack to work, so she sighed and
concentrated her chakra, it seemed like nothing to those
around but it began to show physically as wind around Ai's
hands. virtually undetectable by those that hadn't mastered
the perception path. Ai smiled as she walked towards the
boy, awaiting his first move. "you came
to me first so you have the first move"

Stu wasnt stupid he knew what she was doing. He standed and started to laugh."Iguess ill ignore the first two and use it. He said with a grin. He then bit his finger causing it to bleed and touched his left eye. "Now im gonna defeat you." he said while activating the eye of truth. With that his left eye shanged into a diffrent form and color. I got ten minutes before im down. He muttered. He then moved closer waiting for her move. Grinning evily as if he already won.

(Stus bloodline is something that needs massive chakra to have and he does according to his clan.)

Ai giggled slightly, he was predictable and she closed her eyes before muttering something under her breath and bolting towards him, she was as fast as wind and within seconds was a short distance from the boy. she then said calmly but loud enough for him to hear "Wind Force Punch". As she said this her fists became balls of wind chakra that were constantly moving and twisting.

Her fists were a series of blades that if they even came within an inch of the boys body would start ripping at his skin.

Ha what a waste of chakra. He then grabbed his katana andjabbed at a point destroying the jutsu. The Hkurate clans eye defeats all jutsu.

"Within every lie, there is truth
Within every illusion, there is reality"

One of the major roadblocks Akeru faced in training was she needed someone to practice on for her genjutsu. You couldn't practice manipulating a mind without a mind to manipulate. It was difficult to sneak around and try to practice on unsuspecting people, it would be much easier with a willing articipant. So Akeru had an idea; what if she used her genjutsu abilities to make more people become willing participants?

"Oh man, this is such a good idea! I'm upset at myself for not thinking this up sooner!"

There were still a few genin in the training canyons, ones who weren't going to watch the exams. She just needed to use her Tenteigan correctly on one of them.

She found a brown haired, kind of average looking guy that was probably a year younger than her practicing throwing kunai. Being as stealthy as she could, she moved to sneak within ten feet of him; that was how close she needed to be in order to connect to him with her Tenteigan. Once she got close enough, her blue eyes made the tell-tale black swirls that showed her Tenraigan was active.

Okay, I have to get this on the first try, or this guy will know someone's messing with him.

Even though it would be her first time using the ability, it wasn't too difficult to try. Simply increasing the feeling of attraction he felt towards her was nothing compared to the other techniques she already knew. From there, it would just be a matter of her playing the guy right; something she was already an expert at. With her genjutsu cast, she merely walked and 'accidentally bumped into him.

"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry!"

The boy turned to look at her, at first looking annoyed, but once he looked at her, he dropped his annoyed expression fast, looking her up and down.

"Oh, its no problem, no problem at all! Say, what's a pretty girl like you doing out here?"

Akeru fought the urge to roll her eyes. Obviously, just by looking at her headband, one could tell she was a ninja and would be her for training, but then again she doubted he was actually focusing on it. Instead, she greeted him with a cheery, almost innocent smile.

"I'm here for training! Sensei said I should improve my genjutsu skills a little, but I don't have a training partner..."

Akeru spoke in an equally sweet an innocent voice, one that anyone that knew her could easily tell wasn't the real Akeru. But it did help her give the weak and in-need-of-help image she was going for. It was always so easy to manipulate men.

"Really? Well I just finished up my training here! I'd be happy to spend some time with...I-I mean, help you train!"

"Really!? Oh thank you, you're the greatest!"

Akeru felt a little smirk creep up on her face. Caught him, hook line and sinker...

Akeru continued with her act, continuing to seem a little bit naive. She put the fact that she knew exactly why the guy was being nice to her; if he wasn't acting that way because of the technique she cast on him, she would have already knocked his teeth out for the vile thoughts that were most likely going through his head. She just gave him a smile as he spoke.

"So, you said genjutsu, right? So, what are you working on and how can I help?"

"Oh, its just a few techniques to help out my squad when I get assigned to one. Who knows, maybe we'll be in the same one together! And all I need you to do is stand still."

Of course Akeru was already on a squad, but seeing as they weren't there, there was no harm in giving the guy false hope and making him more willing to help her.

"Okay, The technique I'm trying to perfect is one I've had in my mind for a while. It's supposed to weaken an enemy so that a strong guy like you could have an easier time fighting him! I'm going to partially block your chakra. I won't actually be blocking it, I'll be tricking your mind into thinking it's blocked. So you don't have to worry about anything, It won't be anything that will effect you later..."

After he was assured that his chakra would not be permanently cut off or something, Akeru prepared to cast the Genjutsu while he got ready to have it cast on him. Since he was already close enough and in the Tenraigan's range, it was easy to begin to feed her chakra into his mind. The chakra made its way to the section in control of his chakra control, and that was where Akeru got to work. This was actually one of the more difficult ones to try. To connect to the center of his chakra while avoiding going against his chakra flow took a lot of concentration and precision. If she didn't do it exctly right, she would be pushed out of his head. She had to do everything as gently and percise as she could. It was definitely something that got easier with practice though, and once she learned the technique, she could practice it until she mastered it. Then she'd be able to utilize it while in the middle of combat. She didn't know the 'official' way to learn her techniques, but it wasn't like the academy was heavy on teaching genjutsu either.

"Alright, I think that should be it. Do you feel any different?"

The boy looked down at himself questioningly. He had expected some kind of change, but so far, he wasn't feeling anything.

"Umm...I think you might have messed up. I don't feel any different at all..."

Akeru again wanted to roll her eyes at the guy's lack of knowledge. Of course he wouldn't feel anything, genjutsu wouldn't be anywhere as effective if you knew when it was being cast. However, she just smiled at him.

"You're not supposed to! If you felt it, you would know I cast the genjutsu and then do something to counter it, right? This way my enemy will just keep fighting like normal without knowing! Now try to mold your chakra..."

The boy put his hands together, gathering up his chakra as if he was trying to use a technique. However, he noticed that it felt like he had somehow lost half of his chakra, and it felt a little more difficult than normal to gather the rest.

"I...I think it's working. I definitely feel like I'm missing a big chunk of my chakra. Are you sure this is only a genjutsu? It definitely feels real..."

Akeru ended the technique, and the boy felt as if his chakra rushed back to him, answering his question. It was a much more chakra intensive ability than Akeru had planned; it would be much more difficult to use this one while in mid-battle than Akeru initially thought. Maybe she would have to change her battle tactics when employing the technique.

"I guess I'm just really good at genjutsu! The more real it feels, the harder it is to get free from! And cutting down an enemy's chakra capacity, even if it is just an illusion, will definitely be useful when my squad and I are fighting someone really tough! At least I hope it will!"

Akeru sighed in her head. She was already getting tired of this act she was putting on. But she just had to keep reminding herself, it was a means to an ends.
