Oh, uh, also--everyone can level up in HA now >_> Feel free to PM me your level up.
Reminder for how level ups work:
You're now level 4.
No stat may be higher than 11 (unless you have something that adds an extra stat, like a passive or limit).
No stat may increase more than 2.
You have 9 points to distribute.

Yo!
So I haven't looked at FoM for the longest time, then I saw in the nifty 'recent guild posts' thing that people had posted in it. Out of curiosity I looked back and counted how many posts were made in it this year, aaaaand I got this:
Jan - 4 Feb - 2 Mar - 2 Apr - 2 May - none June - 2
That's 12 posts. XD I think it's OK to move it to the Memorial Forum, unless the GMs and players want to keep it up for some reason. Personally, I'd recommend taking it down and making up something new.

HA Announcement The special charms given to each person present give unique enchantments to each person. The choices are as follows: You may choose immunity to any 2 negative statuses between Very Easy and Difficult. ORYou may choose immunity to any 1 negative status between Very Difficult and Game-Breaking. ORYou may choose a single Stat Boost. This stat may not be something you've already increased through Limits or Passives. ORYou may choose a single Elemental Resistance to increase. This element may not be your primary weakness, your actual element, or any element with a resistance already.* Alternatively: If someone has a better idea for a potential boon, and it receives enough support, we'll probably consider it! *Don't forget that by reaching level 4, you should have chosen a resistance to increase by these same rules. This would count as a second element resistance increase! Check here for your elemental resistance line to see what you would have been at level 3.

HA Announcement Due to the sudden link between the Earthlings and the Cornerstone of Light, all Heroic Earthlings have had some new potential unlocked that they may not realize immediately. All Heroic Earthlings now have the secondary element of Light. This means:
They take -3 damage from Light-based attacks. They take +3 damage from Dark-based attacks. They may, over time, unlock a new branch of secondary Light skills. These skills generally cost more mana, and are simple*, yet rigid, meaning they must stick to a technical definition. These are different from your Primary elements, where every skill is fluid and can alter how you wish.
By "simple", we mean that these skills actually shouldn't be too unique. They should be something that others with similar training might use. For example, Sora and Roxas both used the same kind of Fire spell. Axel, on the other hand, could do quite a bit with flames. That's the difference between Primary elemental (Axel) and Secondary (Sora/Roxas). For example, a mage might unlock Light Firaga. This spell is only a thrown fireball of Light. You cannot make it a pillar of Light-fire. You cannot breathe Light-fire. It is just a fireball.
All Heroic Earthlings can now purge the Hearts from Emblem Heartless using their weapons or abilities, much like the Keyblades.
This means that any time you slay an Emblem Heartless, the Heart within will fly free into limbo instead of becoming another Heartless. Feel free to ask any questions you want--we understand that the idea of a secondary element might be strange, so we're here to help. Some examples of the simple Light-based skills we'd expect: Light Edge -- Fighter imbues weapon with Light, adding the Light element and some extra magic damage. Light Raid -- Fighter coats weapon with Light before throwing it at a target. Light Firaga -- Caster creates a ball of Light flame that explodes on contact. En-Light -- Caster imbues his/herself, or an ally, with the Light element, making all physical attacks Light elemental. Light Claw -- Fighter swings at a target after forming basic claws of Light energy. Basically, your primary element adapts to your needs. Your secondary element, however, is just a small flavor of variety to help out.

XP Ah! Trying to pull myself out of my laziness of not roleplaying is a pain in the but XD I want to draw and write music, but for some reason my mind is not thinking roleplay, especially when I think Kingdom Hearts.
Someone help me, please!!! XDDDD

I can't speak for the others, but I've been swamped with finals before graduations sweatdrop Also, you're more likely to get responses if you post in the Out of Character Conversation thread. It's on the front page, separate from any specific RPs, while the Speak Out thread is generally for commenting on roleplays, such as announcements concerning a specific roleplay or critique/praise for someone's writing.

Some changes have been made to the stat and skill systems of Kingdom Academy. I blame Scar, Kyle, and Ven, because they were asking questions and that's always a bad thing because then I start thinking. Anyway, just a few things, and totally optional for updating:
1) Spellbilities. These were discussed before in Skype, but stupid me never edited the info posts to include them. Basically, they're when an ability can double as a spell, or a spell as an ability. Check out the two newest profiles (Shino and Ayden) for example. 2) Stats. Just increased the maximum individual stat limit to a multiple of three to allow for greater variety. This is all Kyle's fault, he did the math! 3) Ability Upgrades. If your character has an upgraded form of an ability, that can override/overwrite the lower form of the ability. For example, Super Glide would replace Glide when your character gets it. Also, don't bother putting "guard" as an ability, not that anyone has tried, but figured I should throw that in there just in case. This does not apply to spells!
