((Okay so i changed my pictures for Kei and Yuki, if you care enough to look at them please do so =D ))----- "Hiding your ears is not a big deal." he said pulling away from her and her smile. He hated people who acted happy all the time and were kind too much. "You just have to train yourself to hide them, its not a big deal." he said and stood from the table, not hungry anyways anymore and turned to leave. He walked off passing a new pair of people who he had noticed, had entered the lunchroom not to many moments earlier. He walked to the edge of the commons and looked up to the balcony above and the walling that held it. He jumped up on the walling and then again jumped to another set of walling before he made it up to the top and on the balcony that overhung the commons on the second floor.----- "Weirdos...." Yuki muttered as she spotted a few of the other guys in the lunchroom eying her, before she turned back to a talking Raven and nodded. "Okay. Then my name is Yuki." he responded with a smile. She raised a hand to her and a finger touched her lips as she thought, something totally different from what exactly was going now. "Uhm.... she muttered and lowered her finger away from her lips and back to her side as she bent down and picked up her books that she had set on the ground. She pulled out a notebook now and placed it on the table that was now before her, she did so now since she had just finished eating not to long ago. She opened it and placed a pencil in her hand and started drawing random doodles upon the pages. "Just come up with something or rather anything to talk about, doesn't matter if its random now just to talk about..." she told him to do without looking up from her page.

Raven watched her for a moment and then tilted his head. "You seem to be really into whatever it is you're doing...are you..not exactly the social type, Yuki?" He asked, wondering exactly why this girl had chosen to sit away from everyone else and not with the others. There weren't many anti-social people in the world, but she certainly seemed to be one of them.

Rebecca watched him Kei walk away with confusion. I wonder what's with him? she thought. Maybe he's just not very social. She turned to Nezera and shrugged. "I don't think you need to hide your tail. I think it's cute." she smiled. I wonder if I could.... she thought. She blushed at the idea. "Can I....."

Salem sighed, turning off her mp3 for a few minutes. Looking to her brother, she gave a small smile, the pinpricks of her canines shimmering in the low light.
"I need a breath of air."
"Don't skip classes,"
She nodded, then shrugged her jacket off, tying the fabric around her waist. Underneath of the jacket, she had on a simple black tanktop, lace topping the low cut on the neckline.
She slipped out of the cafeteria, her spine tingling as she thought of taking off from the roof, feeling the feel of air coursing through her feathers, or even feeling the texture of dirt under her hands as she took off, dashing through the forestry. She wanted, needed the feeling of adrenaline rushing through her veins.
Sighing, she stepped up through the stairway, looking around her before noticing nobody staring at her. Running a hand through her hair, she came away with her small, wolfish ears twitching, turning, taking in sounds around her.
She walked around the balcony, sitting beside the wall, staring outside, sighing.
Her honey-colored eyes glimmered with boredom, and her lips were pursed in a small frown of annoyance.
As she placed a hand on the table, she leaned on her other one, her black nails contrasting with the pale, milky flesh.
Why in the world did she get transferred here? From the people she had seen in the lunch room, she would never fit in. A hybrid breed, unable to smile much, never going to be as openly friendly as she seemed around her brother.
And her 'mother' had even suggested she'd change, be nicer to be around. What a nice thing to tell your daughter as she was walking away from you for several months.
Darius watched his sister, his eyes glimmering in worry.
He hoped she would be alright, and wished that she didn't always seem so worried.
Standing up, he dumped his tray, and went to go and stand over by a window, his black hair catching the light and gently shimmering.
Leaning against the sill, he watched outside, his face set in a worried, stony look.

Nezera felt her eyebrows raise as she smiled. I don't know, can you? She giggled, sounding just like her mom. She smiled warmly. What is it? Don't worry, ask.

"You could say that..." Yuki responded upon hearing what Raven had to say. She stopped drawing for a moment and looked at him while she flipped to a new page in her notebook and set it back down on the table. She was never really the talkative type, more time she would never talk unless the other had too much to say and way much more to say than her, which normally if not she wouldn't say anything anyways. "You making a girlfriend on the first day is not exactly what I would call normal either but I say nothing" she muttered then to herself hopefully low enough for him not to hear what she had just said.

Kei looked back to the crowd of others beneath him now as he was leaning against the balcony overlooking the commons below. He huffed a sigh before removing himself from that spot and started to walk down the hallway that was nearby. "Hey! You! You should be in class or in lunch! No wandering the halls!" a voice yelled, he looked to it and as usual it was directed towards him. "Like I care... he spat back pushing himself past the teacher. The teacher yelled at him some more to go back to class and stuff but he didn't listen to these words. He headed for the place where he could go even higher than the second floor... the rooftop. He walked down the hallway and then opened a door that students were almost never allowed to enter in, but he did anyways. Walking down the darkened hallway he found a staircase that led up. He climbed those stairs and eventually he emptied out onto the rooftop. Stretching he breathed in the air that was breezing past him. 'Its a pain to hide these all the time... his thoughts rolled as he let the ears and tail that he had hidden throughout the day come out as he then walked to the edge of the building and sat along the edge of it.

Glaring as several students came up the stairs, Salem shrugged back into a corner, once again camouflaging her ears into her hair, and standing up. Her eyes went dull, empty as she stepped past a few girls, their designer clothes and wealthy jewelry obviously seeming to give them the right to toss jokes about her as she passed.
Closing her eyes, Salem shrugged, then stepped out of the room, making her ways through the hallways.
She ran into a teacher, her golden eyes looking up. "Isn't it lunch, right about now?" Salem shrugged.
"You should head back in
Shaking her head, she brushed past them, mumbling something about an upset stomach, then quickly making her way up the stairwell before her.
Her converse smacked quietly against the concrete stairs as she maneuvered her way up, her hand brushing the rail.
She slowed down as she made it to the door onto the roof, sighing.
Pulling out her phone, she flipped it open, texted her brother, then opened the door, jamming the object back into her jeans.
Salem rolled her shoulders gently, letting out a sigh of relief. Not even an hour in the place yet and she could already see people passing judgment on her appearance and the anti-social way she refused to talk to random students.
Shaking her head, she made her way over to the edge, sat down beside it, and let out a soft sigh.
She relaxed immensely as she felt a breeze slip playfully through the air, teasing at her clothing, hair, and skin.
She crossed her arms over her chest, then ran a hand through her hair once more, her headache dissapearing as she allowed her senses to sharpen once more, her hearing peaking, her sense of smell perking, and her eyesight sharpening.
Her ears twitched, catching birdsong, wind rustles, and a seperate heartbeat.
A foreign scent teased her nose.
Turning her head, she let out a small sigh of disappointment.
"I-I'm sorry. I didn't know there was anyone up here. If I did, I wouldn't have come up..." she said, her soft, light voice tainted with shyness and dulled as well.
She stood up, turning towards the door.

Raven dropped his head slightly. That comment in and of itself had stung. "Now I see why you don't talk very much..." He said, picking up another piece of food and hoping that it would calm him somewhat. Her comment was one that he had feared someone would say. It made him feel, strange when someone said something like that, as if he were...a whore of some sort? He sighed and shook his head, weeding the thought from his mind. "Yuki...you may not mean to say such things...but..please, try and watch them..." He said rather softly, the tone of his voice hurt even though he was trying to hide it.

Kei was sitting along the rooftop's edge looking out to the scenery before him relaxing before he even noticed a new presence had entered behind him through those very doors he had just come through. He looked back at her and that then she noticed him and muttered something very quietly. It seemed like she was apologizing for even coming up here. As she turned around he got up and walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder lightly to stop her. "Why does one have to be sorry for coming up here?" he asked removing his hand from her shoulder and then remembered even though now he had forgotten to hide his ear and tail again, as he then pulled up the hood on his sweat jacket and curled the tail around his body so they each their own were somewhat hidden

Yuki stopped drawing again for a moment and placed her hand with the pencil down on the table as she still looked down as she heard the hurt in his voice. "Sorry I said that... she muttered not looking up at him. She knew that she shouldn't have stated this in the first place and normally things will come out on her as it would on what she was thinking but not really mean to say ever.

Her whiskey-hued eyes looked at him for a few moments as she turned slightly. She shrugged a bit, the slight movement hardly seen, seeing as she had no real want to express anything right now.
"I didn't mean to intrude on your own time. If seems, like me, you wanted to get away." She gave a slight smile, her lips tilting at one corner sarcastically, "Though one would wonder why, with all the plastic smiles and false enjoyment. It feels quite welcoming back in the cafeteria."
Brushing a lock of her ebony-hair out of her eyes, she noticed his movements in order to hide his features. Her ears flattened down slightly, as if just realizing something.
"I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. You don't need to hide what you are if you don't want."
Salem untied her jacket from her hips and slipped it on, the silly panda on the front giving little to no expression as it listened to its music.
Zipping up the clothing, she shoved her hands in the pockets. "Why are you hiding your..." she gave a quick gaze without really moving. "Your features. If you don't mind me asking."

Kei walked a bit ways from her and to the edge of the rooftop again. "People judge you firstly upon appearance and what you look like, are they a freak or not is what I normally get." he muttered as he looked again out to the sky before him for awhile before again turning to her. Why he wondered now was why he was now deciding to be nice to someone, he naturally would have put up the cold and distasteful act towards the other, but at this time he couldn't, but he could not figure out this reason.

Salem nodded, smiling slightly at how similar his situation was to hers. "I don't know your situation, so I can't say I understand, but I guess I sympathize.But I can say that you won't get that from me." She looked down.
"Seems people around make their say on you from a first impression or a rumor. I don't really see why people can be so shallow."
She leaned against the wall next to the door.
"Are you alright? You seem...slightly annoyed, or confused..."
She shut up, her eyes widening, before she looked away. "Nevermind. Sorry. Forget what I said." She gave an embarrassed chuckle. "My name's Salem, by the way."
Looking back up, she gazed at the sky before her, her eyes foggin over slightly as she let the wind swim across her, teasing strands of ahir over her lips, cheeks, forehead.
Why in the world was she still talking? This was the most words she had said to anyone but her brother in a full month.
Her phone went off in her pocket, making her jump, a small pink tinting her cheeks as she smiled in a distracted way. Flipping her phone out, she found a missed call from an unknown number, and ignored it, glaring. How had someone gotten her number...?
Shrugging, she slipped it in her jacket pocket and looked back at Kei, her head tilting to the side slightly.

"Kei. he answered back to her giving him her name. "And what you tell me to ignore I can choose to or not still. If you were wondering it was kind of both anyways." he then stopped himself as he caught himself talking too much again. He looked at her for a moment in silence. "Why are you even talking to me in the first place wolf-girl? Why are you talking to a cat like me?... " he asked, removing his hood so that she could see his ears again. It wasn't because he trusted or wanted her to see them but to prove the point that he was in fact a neko, ones naturally hated by a dog type race.

She shrugged. "True, I guess. It's just a natural tendency for me to say that." She smiled a little, then stretched her arms behind her.
When he replied with how he was feeling, she watched him for a few moments before looking away.
"Wolf-girl?" She laughed a little. "If you haven't noticed, I'm not the most biased person around. I'm a breed, a mutt with a feline name anyway." She shrugged, blushing. Too much said, and unable to take it back.
Looking at him once more, she looked him over. "And besides, if we hated based on our ancestor's will, then half of the world wouldn't exist right now. I have my own free will, and I do plan on using it."
Salem then ran a hand through her hair, shuffling the silken strands around. A silvery stud caught the light, a loop through her more human ear, a little skull hanging from the ring.
"Unless you don't want me to talk to you, I can honestly say I won't let differences in species hold me back from engaging in a light conversation." She grinned at him, her pointed teeth sparking slightly, but the smile unable to reach the honey-hued orbs shuttering themselves as she prepared for a small, simple rejection.
