Name of Kekkei Genkai/Clan : Kansatsuryoku (Powers of Observation)

History : When and where the Kansatsu clan first originated is shrouded in mystery since no actually documentation for this clan was ever conceived. But from what has been passed on by word of mouth, this clan, for as long as anyone can remember, have been a nomadic tribe wondering from town to town avoiding any specify contact with anything associated with ninjas and ninja villages. It is said that the founder of the tribe was a person gifted with the natural ability to detect heat signatures and sound wave as well as being able to catch glimpse into the past and future. Because of his amazing natural abilities, he was taken away from his friends and family and asked to do many dangerous tasks under the will of a selfish tyrant ruler. Seeing how his abilities were misused and his will was consistently being oppressed, the man snuck away from the lord's castle during a lunar eclipse and ran as far away as possible.

Knowing that there was a chance for the Lord to come after him as well as others wanting to use his abilities for evil, the man began living as a wandering hermit doing little things here and there to gain money while avoiding unwanted attention. It was during his travels that the man gained several followers one of which he eventually married. The tribe continued to expend over the years and as different people with natural abilities to see wavelength integrated into the tribe, the bloodline eventually developed into what it is today.

Though most members still keep to the tradition of their clan leading nomadic lives, several members have begun to question their ways and left to sought out for a different way to live. As members continued to leave one by one, the tribe weakened and eventually was thought to have died out. Several years later thought, a familiar hermit cloak can be seen worn by various people who would every once in awhile enter town and set up a large triangular purple tent with gold trimmings. The people who tend to seek out members of this clan whenever they appear in town are the people hoping to get their fortunes told or in the rarer of cases, to track someone down.



Rules For Kekkei Genkai/Clan :

1. 'Intelligence' and 'Great Chakra Control 'are required character strengths for this bloodline. (Users must have a strong mind and the chakra control to utilize their chakra in various different configurations and with very fine control.)

2. Regular exercising/relaxation period of the mind is required (yoga, meditation, ESP cards, etc)

3. Sight limitations:

Genin:

- Mind will only be able to handle a maximum of 5 shifts in a row without rest.

- Eyes can only handle a maximum of 5 posts non-stop before requiring a 10 post rest period. If overused, there's a chance for the user to lose their eyesight.

Chuunin:

- Mind will only be able to handle a maximum of 8 shifts in a row without rest.

- Eyes can only handle a maximum of 10 posts non-stop before requiring a 15 post rest period. If overused, there's a chance for the user to lose their eyesight.

Special Jounin/Jounin:

- Mind will only be able to handle a maximum of 12 shifts in a row without rest.

- Eyes can only handle a maximum of 15 posts non-stop before requiring a 20 post rest period. If overused, there's a chance for the user to lose thier eyesight.

Sannin/Kage:

- Mind will only be able to handle a maximum of 15 shifts in a row without rest.


- Eyes can only handle a maximum of 20 posts non-stop before requiring a 25 post rest period. If overused, there's a chance for the user to lose their eyesight.


Overuse cost:

1 post past limit: Roll a d20, if you get a 1, you either are stuck with one 'sight' or you lose your eyesight. (10% chance to lose)

2 posts past limit: Roll a d10, if you get a 1, you either are stuck with one 'sight' or you lose your eyesight. (25% chance to lose)

3 posts past limit: Roll a d6, if you get a 1, you either are stuck with one 'sight' or you lose your eyesight. (30% chance to lose)

4 posts past limit: Roll a d4, if you get a 1, you either are stuck with one 'sight' or you lose your eyesight. (50% chance to lose)

5 posts past limit: You lose your eyesight.



Weaknesses:

1. Regular exercising/relaxation period of the mind/eyes is required(yoga, meditation, ESP cards, etc) since the mind is in constant high gear trying to grasp onto the various wavelengths and process them into a image for the user to see.

2. Constant shifting between the various 'sights' may cause temporarily blindness to the user because of the mind's inablitly to process the quick changing pace of the user's sight.

3. Over-usage of the eyes can lead to a malfunction of the brain, blindness, loss of control over the 'sights' (the mind is constantly switching between the sights sometimes picking up on infrared, other times ultraviolet, etc.) or a fixed eyesight (meaning that the user can no longer shift between the various sights and will be stuck with one of the sights for the remainder of their lifespan - there's a chance for the user to lose their Kekkei Genkai ability and be stuck with regular eyesight)

4. As members continue to progress through the levels of this bloodline, there is a chance for them to lose their eyesight due to the constant strain of absorbing chakra into the eyes and channeling it into the proper vision. Possible chance of going insane and losing their mind if use suffers from extreme shock during the use of their Kekkai Genkai.

5. The user's eyes change a certain color according to the specific stage of the Kansatsuryoku the user is currently using allowing for easy identification of what 'sight' their using unless covered.


Strengths:

1. Users are able to pick up on various heat and chakra impressions left behind by people, allowing them to track people's heat signatures and detect the presence of sound waves with their eyes.

2. Capable of absorbing chakra and utilizing it to bend the visible spectrum of light allowing members to see into the various classifications of electromagnetic radiation/waves (infrared/ultraviolet/X-ray)

3. More skilled members of this clan will eventually be able to gain the ability to see into the past and future.

4. Due to their constant training of the mind, members of the Kansatsu have built a sort of immunity against Genjutsu. With their developed insight clan members easier spot the difference between illusion and reality and are able to quickly find the weak spot of the Genjutsu thus breaking out of it before it can even take hold.



Stage One: X-ray vision

Description: The user has just recently awaken their Kekkai Genkai and is starting the basic training on how to use their special ability. Still new to this, the user has yet to develop the sense/skill necessary to detect long wavelengths but the user does have the natural ability to hear high frequencies allowing them to easily detect the high pitched frequency and short wavelengths of X-ray radiation. While in this stage, the user's eye-color will turn a jade green indicating that this stage of the Kekkai Genkai is currently being used and the user's vision is able to penetrate the surface of objects/things such as human skin, allowing them to see what's inside (human bone).

Description: The user is able to focus their vision to detect very small objects, enhancing them under their eyes, allowing them to see things at a nearly microscopic level.



Stage Two: Ultraviolet vision

Description: This is the second stage of the Kansatsuryoku which grants the user the ability to see things in ultraviolet. At this stage, the user's ability to detect wavelengths have increased allowing the user to pick up on the long wavelengths of ultraviolet radiation. When activated, the user's eyes will turn violet and the user will seen everything in a screen of violet thus toning down the brightness and damage of certain things (looking at the sun). Using this stage of vision, the user will be able to detect objects normally unseen, such as bodily fluids, sweat, blood, and otherwise which have long since become invisible to normal eyesight.

How to obtain:

- Must be at least a Chunnin to achieve this level of sight
- Must have trained in using the X-ray vision for more then 15 posts

Description : using this ability, the user will be able to identify the chemical structure and makeup of many objects, allowing them to know exactly what it is as well as find out specific information on any special abilities/construction of the item.

Description: This allows the user to create a 'Black Light' mark on an object or person which remains permanently on someone until it is released by the user. this mark cannot be removed and cannot be seen by anyone other then a Kansatsuryoku utilizing the Ultraviolet vision.




Stage Three: Infrared vision

Description: At this point in time, the user has developed a good control over their ability and is able to move onto the next step which is infrared vision. Infrared radiation have longer wavelengths then ultraviolet radiation but a lower frequency. During activation, the user's eyes will turn an amber color and by absorbing chakra to bend the visible spectrum of light, the user can now see clearer the left over heat impression made by people as well as their heat signatures. Their vision then turns into a set color palette of dark indigo to white representing the different body temperature radiating off the things in the user's sight.This gives the user the ability to see through walls, the ground, and other solid objects to lock onto those who may be hiding.

How to obtain:

- Must be at least a Special Jounin to achieve this level of sight
- Must have trained in using Ultraviolet vision for more then 15 posts.

Description: User is able to channel an item, and most energy based jutsu with a heat-seeking ability, making any thrown projectile (or projectile-like jutsu ex.fireballs, lightening bolts, etc.) capable of tracking it's intended target, bobbing and weaving around obstacles to strike it's foe.

Description: This is a minor ability, it allows you to warm surfaces, food, and even add heat to a therapeutic massage.




Stage Four: Visions of Time

Description: The user has finally reached the point in their training where they have fully master the basic 'sights' given by their bloodline. Having trained their mind and hearing to the max, the user now must go beyond that for this last and final stage of the Kansatsuryoku. At this stage, the user has finally awakened the ability to spot the long wavelengths created by radio waves and detect chakra imprints between all of the visual spectrum allowing them bend the radio waves/ chakra imprints to create flashes of imagery projected on objects. If trained enough, the user will eventually build up the skills necessary to predict movements.

How to obtain:

- Must be at least a Jounin to achieve this level of sight
- Must have trained in using Infrared vision for more then 15 posts.

Description: The user inserts their chakra into the object in question and using the chakra searches for chakra/sound wave imprints pertaining to the past that the user wants to see.

Jutsu Name: Future Sight (Clairvoyance)

Description: This is basically the same thing as the Past Sight technique except instead of glimpsing into the past, the user is attempting to catch a glimpse at the future. Because of the uncertainty of the future, if the user tries to see too far into the future, there's a chance for it to change or go wrong. The percentage of it being wrong increase the farther the user attempts to see.

x-Ray Microscopy should have a range limit. Microscopes are only good for seeing things up close that are very small, where as Telescopes are good for seeing big things far away. I think 1 meter would be a good range. Let me know what you think.

would this work on people too? Also, is there a range?

Is the cost reoccurring per post of the user, or is it a 1 time deal? Also, how would one go about removing the mark? Does the mark do anything other than sit there?
[I'm guessing you would use this on assassins when they are escaping, and when you see them later dressed different then they would have the mark. If that's the case, I'm guessing you plan for this to be a 1 time cost.]

How far back in history can this go? [posts]
If there are different levels of this, how is cost decided?
Also, precognition is looking into the future. Psychometry would be a better word. [yes, it appears in red on firefox, but is a word.]

Jutsu Name: Future Sight (Clairvoyance)

The problem with this is, how do you look into the future without forcing your opponents to conform to what you see? Even if you look just 1 post into the future, you are forcing your opponent to do as you see. Please give me some feedback on this.

Cobra will probably not like that jutsu because the Sharingan does the same thing, except not as far into the future.

{1. Regarding what you said the jutsu is supposed to be used to see things close up like a microscope so I think that part's fine. Not sure how you put a range on that. Regarding the telescope part maybe we could create a serperate jutsu for that but I'm not sure if it'll work with this stage of my bloodline.

2. I think you could and as for the range, I guess anything within a 3~5 meter radius would be good.

3. I think it should be a one time deal and maybe we could have a -1 chakra deduction during the time the user has their ultraviolet vision on while searching for said mark. As for removing the mark I guess the user would release it like any ordinary jutsu, with a 'kai release'.

4. How about a chart.
E-rank cost = up to 2 posts back
D-rank cost = up to 5 posts back
C-rank cost = up to 7 posts back
B-rank cost = up to 15 posts back
A-rank cost = up to 20 posts back
S-rank cost = up to one whole rp day back
In regards to the name...opps XP, must've gottent the wrong one when searching up ESP abilites on the internet.

5. Technically, if in a fight and your opponent posts first, then this could be used as a way to avoid the attack without it seeming like it's godmodding. The user was able to pre-see the attack so the post sort of backtracks to the post before where the opponent is setting up an attack. The user will see it(what's been posted) and come up with the proper defense. *N/A: High chance of it being misused but I'm sure we'll be able to keep it in check.

As to if Cobra would like the jutsu or not. I've already ran this through him first so if he let it pass, I assumed he's okay with it. Btw, most of the jutsus were Cobra's ideas so I'm not to sure on the range, I just posted a number that seems suitable.}

Name of Kekkei Genkai : Kukan

History : The clan, just like many others, learned of their kekkei genkai through chance and with no real way of being able to pinpoint the cause of it. It's been theorized that the Nai clan, which is the origin of the Kukan, managed to create a void in the soul of certain children because of their practice of extracting weapons, known as Keys, out of the soul. However, it is simply a theory and, to this day, it is unsure which members of the clan will end up with the kekkei genkai. It seems that purity of blood plays no part in who obtains the bloodline, resulting in just as many people from the obscure branches gaining the bloodline as those closer to the main branch. There have even been cases where families with no ties to the Nai clan other than some long-deceased deserter have managed to bring forth a child with the ability to use Kukan. However, the similarity between all Kukan-users is there surprisingly strong soul despite their frail bodies.
In recent years, the Nai clan has been massacred and even the most remote branches have been killed off. Now, the only possible survivors of the clan are those who somehow managed to survive the massacre or those whose families have no obvious ties with the Nai clan. As a result of the massacre, most of the records of the clan, including all of the ones that provided information on the techniques of the clan and bloodline have been destroyed.

Abilities : The Kukan kekkei genkai grants the user to control and sense void. Control-wise, void refers to the absence of everything, even space and time. Controlling void can often be explained as creating a rip in space-time, giving the user the ability to block anything and cut through anything. However, such abilities require the use of 100% void, a milestone that is near impossible to achieve. In terms of sensing void, the user can sense any sort of void, be it a place that is void of chakra or a place that is void of life. The possibilities are many. Through a process of elimination, this sensing ability can be used to gain more information on one's surroundings. Members of the Nai clan that are blessed, or more appropriately cursed, with the Kukan ability are found to be born with a void within their souls, a space devoid of anything. It is because of this void that many potential Kukan users die soon after birth, after their soul is forced to fend off the void on its own. Those that have survived, only have done so because their strong souls have managed to seal up the void, preventing it from engulfing the child entirely. In return, the void further strengthened the soul of the blood-line users, instilling in them a determination and endurance that is far greater than their peers. Because of the void within their soul, Kukan users have the ability to create and sense void. Their abnormality has also rubbed off on their physical appearances and traits, making them slightly scrawny (which often decreases their strength but increases their speed), and harder to notice (stealth). However, their strong souls often allow them to withstand more pain than normal ninjas with a similar body build can, putting them on equal footing as other ninjas when it comes to withstanding attacks.
Most Kukan users also have a Key, which is a weapon that is created from the user's soul. Certain techniques require a Key to use, so it is usually in the favor of the user to get one.



Rules For Kekkei Genkai/Clan :
-Must not have any elements.
-Must have a legitimate reason for surviving the massacre.
-Must adhere to the weaknesses and strengths.
-Any additional jutsus/techniques must be applied for in the custom jutsus forum.
-Physical description must include, at the least, a slightly smaller than normal body size.
-Void cannot be broken unless attacked by a higher rank jutsu using pure energy. Jutsu using pure energy that is equal in rank to the void will simply nullify both jutsus and jutsu using pure energy of a lower rank will be broken by the void.
-Elemental chakra is weak to void and can only nullify it if it is a rank higher than the void. If the elemental chakra is two ranks above the void then it can break it. Elemental chakra that is lower or equal in rank to the void will simply be nullified. Elemental attacks work in a similar fashion. Attacks that are equal or lower in rank to the void being used will be completely nullified. Attacks that are one rank higher will have half of the leftover percentage pass through the void (ex: a C-rank fire jutsu against a D-rank 25% void will have 37.5% of the attack pass through). Elemental attacks that are at least two ranks higher than the void will pass completely through whatever percentage is left (ex: an A-rank fire jutsu against a C-rank 50% void will have 50% of the attack pass through).
-Only one Key is allowed per person. The Key must be applied for in the Custom Weapons thread. While its metaphysical origins allow for it to have powers with no logical explanation, there is a limit to what a Key can do as well as specific restrictions and weaknesses. The limits to what a Key can do will be determined by those approving Custom Weapons. As for restrictions, the Keys of all Kukan user's must, at the very least, be weak to pure energy and must weaken when the user's soul weakens (ex: doubt, hesitation). Furthermore, analysis techniques (ex: Yamanaka's mind-reading techniques) can be used on the Key as if the technique was being used on the Key's owner. Luckily, though, the Key has the same capacity to release a minuscule amount of chakra that makes sensing the Key as hard as sensing the owner. In other words, the Key is just as stealthy as the owner.

Weakness :
-Unable to use any elements, this includes subelements. The only exceptions are elements derived from demons, the medical element, and any elements that the user has managed to control in some roundabout fashion (ex: creating a custom weapon that somehow allows you to control an element in some way).
- Techniques related to the kekkei genkai require more chakra than a normal jutsu.
-Depleting chakra completely will also result in an additional side-effect (ex: memory loss, temporary loss of emotion) because the soul has also been greatly eaten away at.
-User's are physically smaller than the average person and often look younger than their age.
-Void harms the user just as much as it harms the opponent, requiring focus when using the kekkei genkai to prevent it from touching the user's body.
-Requires 1.5 times more posts to learn jutsus related to Kukan because of the lack of any scrolls to teach it through.
-Void is weak to attacks of pure chakra.

Strengths :
-Ability to use a stealth that is equivalent to an assassin of the user's rank. For the same reason, the user emits little to no chakra, making it impossible for chakra sensors of the same rank to sense the Kukan practitioner unless he/she is using a jutsu or emitting chakra forcibly.
-Stage 2 raises the number of chakra points to 1.5 times the original (excluding bonuses). This chakra bonus can be stacked with other chakra bonuses.
-No hand signs, vocal orders, etc. required for jutsu related to Kukan.
-Since void is nothing, it is impossible to see void unless the user can sense/see chakra. In which case void can be spotted by the absence of chakra or of anything else.
-Jutsus related to Kukan can be learned without the aid of teachers or scrolls. The first jutsu can even be learned in the heat of battle if the user does not know that they have the technique.
-Void is strong against elemental attacks/chakra.
-Ability to control void through simply thinking about it (think Shukaku's sand) .
-The user is as fast as the next fastest class of their class (ex: Weapons Class is as fast as an assassin).


Jutsu Name: Aether
Rank : D
Elemental Ethnicity : Void
Description : Surrounds the user and/or anything else he/she chooses with a coating of void. Very volatile and can cause extreme damage to whatever it is surrounding if it goes out of control. A high level of concentration is needed. The only thing that remains undamaged 100% of the time are Keys. At this level, it is impossible to use pure void but 1%-25% of void may be used, the rest is chakra. At stage 1, can only lasts two posts before it goes out of control, three posts maximum. At stage 2, can only last three posts before it goes out of control, three posts maximum. At stage 3, can last indefinitely.

Jutsu Name: Soul Connection

Elemental Ethnicity : Void
Description : Using the connection between the user and his/her Key, the kekkei genkai allows the user to either teleport to the Key using void or teleport the Key to them using void. Start at 1m, then it is possible to work up to 500m maximum. Can only be used three times in a battle.


Jutsu Name: Aether
Rank : C
Elemental Ethnicity : Void
Description : A more advanced form of the Aether learned at Genin. Can use 1%-50% void if at first stage. If at second stage, can use anywhere between 1% and 75% void. At stage 1, can only lasts three posts before it goes out of control, four posts maximum. At stage 2, can only last four posts before it goes out of control, five posts maximum. At stage 3, can last indefinitely.


Jutsu Name: Aether Seal
Rank : C
Elemental Ethnicity : Void
Description : A temporary seal that uses the same concept as aether but in a much more concentrated and stable form that requires much more energy. The longer it is used to seal something, the more the chakra and soul of the user deplete. Target and user have to remain still. User can only seal energies that are less that or equal to two ranks above his/her energy. Lasts only for as long as the user's Aether can last. When something is sealed within void, it becomes completely separate from the outside world, effectively blocking anything outside from seeing/sensing anything inside of the seal. However, those inside of the seal can see/sense what is outside of the seal.

Jutsu Name: Erase
Rank : C
Elemental Ethnicity : Void
Description : Erases from existence any object of the user's choice. Does not work with jutsu but does work with weapons and such that have not been tampered with by jutsu. Also does not work with custom weapons. Can only be used three times every battle or day. The jutsu gets rid of all weapons coming from one direction only each time it is used (user can use multiple Erase at one time to erase attacks coming from different directions). For example, one use of Erase can prevent fifty kunai coming in one direction from reaching the user, but it cannot prevent fifty kunai attacking from all around from reaching the user. Must be at second stage. Can only erase items that are less than 500m away from the user.

Jutsu Name: Aether
Rank : B
Elemental Ethnicity : Void
Description : A more advanced form of the Aether learned at Chuunin. Can use up to 75% void at first stage. At second stage, can use up to 99% void. At stage 1, can only lasts four posts before it goes out of control, six posts maximum. At stage 2, can only last six posts before it goes out of control, six posts maximum. At stage 3, can last indefinitely.

Jutsu Name: Aether Seal
Rank : B
Elemental Ethnicity : Void
Description : A more advanced stage of the Aether Seal learned as a Chuunin. Can be combined with other seals to strengthen those seals while maintaining their properties. Must be at second stage. Does not need to be maintained so only energy required for activation is used. User can only seal energies that are less that or equal to two ranks above his/her energy. Lasts only for as long as the user's Aether can last.

Jutsu Name: Erase

Elemental Ethnicity : Void
Description : A more advanced version of the Chuunin's Erase. Can be used to erase jutsus as well as weapons. Can only be used three times every battle or day(weapon's erasing and jutsu erasing are same jutsu). Can only erase jutsus coming from one direction (user can use multiple Erase at one time to erase attacks coming from different directions). Must be at second stage. Can only erase jutsus that are less than 500m away from the user.

Jutsu Name: Akasha
Rank : A
Elemental Ethnicity : Void
Description : Creates a void in space that is filled with a music that can be heard by anyone with a conscious, even the deaf. Those who hear the music are unable to see, hear, feel, or sense in any other way. Can only be used on one target at a time and the user must be focused on that target (they can still move, though). If the user is forced to concentrate on something else, the jutsu is broken. Second stage is required. Target is protected by the user's highest level of void until the jutsu is lifted. Akasha can be partially broken out of in the same way that a genjutsu is broken out of. However, because not all of its effects are attributed to the music, fully breaking out of Akasha requires the target to destroy the void that is surrounding them. Akasha lasts for only three posts.

Jutsu Name: Nirvana

Elemental Ethnicity : Void
Description : Creates a void directly in the conscious of the target, placing the target in a state of oblivion. Can only be used on one target and requires complete concentration. The user can neither move nor sense with his/her body because he/she is forced to sense what the opponent is sensing (sight, hearing, touch, energy, etc.). However, the user cannot control the body of the opponent. Using what the target is sensing, the user can know when to dodge, but doing so will break the jutsu. The jutsu can also be broken after the target is attacked or if it used for longer than three posts. Can only be used once in a battle or day. Must have been at second stage for at least 2 months and know Akasha for at least one month. The jutsu, although it has effects like that of a genjutsu, is not a genjutsu in the way that it is used. As a result, it cannot be broken out of. The only way to break out of the jutsu is to either force the user out of the target's body or attack the target's body.

Jutsu Name: Kirin

Elemental Ethnicity : Void
Description : Key temporarily dissolves into pure soul and surrounds the user, granting him/her an ultimate offence and defense. Strength of jutsu depends on the strength of the soul (which can be affected by strong emotions). Is activated upon the initiation of Stage 3, so the stronger the soul is, the stronger the jutsu is. Requires Key. Does not need to be learned to use. Can be used by any rank. Chakra is not needed to activate Kirin, but chakra equivalent to one jutsu of the user's rank is required each post to maintain Kirin.



Levels of Kekkei Genkai :
Stage 1) The initial stage.
Requirements:
-Must have kekkei genkai and be aware of it.
Abilities:
-Can use all jutsus except for those restricted to higher levels. Jutsus use up chakra equivalent to 2 jutsus upon activation and chakra equivalent to 1 jutsu for each minute (aka: post) activated for prolonged jutsus (Aether, Aether Seal). However, for a jutsu that is at least a rank lower than the user, the chakra required for activation and each post it is activated for is reduced by half (ex: a Chuunin uses only 25% Aether, so they only need to use up one jutsu for activation and half a jutsu for each minute Aether is activated).
-Develop basic void-sensing abilities, but can only sense extremities (ex: being in a caged room and an open field only feels slightly different). At this stage, this ability often comes in the form of a very light instinct. The only thing that they can sense clearly is the pure void used by other Kukan users or present within the souls of other Kukan users. This allows the user to tell if there are others with the same bloodline as him/her.
-Can only use up to 25% void as a Genin, up to 50% void as a Chuunin, and up to 75% void as a Chuunin when using Aether or Aether Seal. The part of the technique that doesn't use void uses the user's own chakra, which uses the same amount of energy but cuts down the power of the jutsu.
-Void can only be formed and controlled when used around the body or Key (ex: cannot form void shields in mid-air; must form shield by surrounding arm or Key with void).
-Before using any jutsus related to the kekkei genkai before a battle, chakra equivalent to one jutsu of the user's rank is used up. The kekkei genkai only needs to be activated once every battle. This activation requirement is separate from the activation requirement for the separate techniques.

Stage 2) An advanced stage that is only reached after opening the "gate".
Requirements:
-Must have stage 1.
-Must be at least an experienced Chuunin (Jounin are more likely to reach stage 2).
-Must have completed one A-rank or S-rank mission.
-Must have depleted all chakra and at least half of soul and still survive. Mind and body can suffer damage. This requirement does not need to be met exactly when the gate is opened.
-Must have opened the "gate". (this isn't really something that needs to be completed beforehand, it's just something that the user must do when he/she is achieving stage 2). Gate can be opened either during a battle or through training after achieving all of the requirement. Open the gate during a battle is instantaneous Opening the gate during training requires 15 posts.
Abilities:
-As a Chunin, can use up to 75% void when using Aether or Aether Seal. As a Jounin or higher, can use up to 99% void.
-Does not need to use up chakra to keep void activated (Aether and Aether Seal no longer need to use up one jutsu for each post). Each jutsu still requires chakra equivalent to two jutsu to use. However, just as before, for a jutsu that is at least a rank lower than the user, the chakra required for activation is reduced by half (ex: a Jounin uses a Chuunin level Erase, so they only need to use up one jutsu for activation).
-User can use soul more efficiently and so can use more jutsus.
-Gain the ability to form void and control it away from the body and Key (ex: can form void shield in mid-air).
-Further develop the ability to sense void. Can sense voids of energy, space, sound, time, etc. extremely accurately and with pinpoint precision. As ability develops, more specific information can be retrieved. This ability can be used to detect the presence of other shinobi by sensing the lack of a void of chakra where there should normally be no chakra.
-Kekkei genkai does not need to be activated (chakra equivalent to one jutsu of the user's rank does not need to be used to start using jutsus related to kekkei genkai).
-Can combine void and use it to strengthen other jutsus (ex: combine rasengan with void to increase attack power). These hybrid jutsus are new jutsus and must be approved in the custom jutsu thread (does not include seals because there is a jutsu in the kekkei genkai that takes care of it).

Stage 3) A berserk stage that lasts only for a short time.
Requirements:
-Can be achieved at any stage, even when the user does not know that he/she has the kekkei genkai. They simply must have the kekkei genkai.
-Must be near death (so near that the only thing keeping the user alive is his/her will) and have depleted nearly all of both chakra and soul.
Abilities:
-Grants the user full control of void.
-Lasts for ten posts. Rank does not play any role in how long it lasts.
-Severely damages the user's body, mind, and soul after use. Chances of coming back unscathed are zero.
-User cannot kill the enemy or anyone else. The jutsu will end right before he/she will strike the killing blow whether or not it has reached it's limit.
-User loses all sense of himself/herself. Simply does the last action that he/she was thinking about. This places the user's allies in danger as well.
-No matter how much damage the technique does, user will not die from the wounds that the stage causes.
-Highly probability that the user will lose memories or even lose a sense of themselves (what will happen to the user will be determined by a one-day vote of the people in the battle and anyone else who would like to vote).
-Changes to appearance are very possible after and during this stage.
-No improved void-sensing abilities. While the user can sense void in this stage, their thought processes are reduced to an animalistic nature so the most that will be used with void-sensing is simple dodging and whatnot.
-Chakra, excluding bonuses from other kekkei genkais and whatnot but including bonuses from Kukan, is replenished by two-thirds for the duration of the stage. Chakra usage for each technique remains unchanged.
-No restriction apply to the user (ex: can use erase infinitely many times).

Stage 4) A mysterious stage that is rumored to exist but nothing is known about it. Perhaps the secret to controlling 100% void?

x-Ray Microscopy should have a range limit. Microscopes are only good for seeing things up close that are very small, where as Telescopes are good for seeing big things far away. I think 1 meter would be a good range. Let me know what you think.

Spectrophotometry would not work on people, but could work on small parts of people, if you were to say, obtain a slice of tissue from them. The range, as with Microscopy, would be close, 1 meter.

Jutsu Name: 'X' marks the spot
Is the cost reoccurring per post of the user, or is it a 1 time deal? Also, how would one go about removing the mark? Does the mark do anything other than sit there?
[I'm guessing you would use this on assassins when they are escaping, and when you see them later dressed different then they would have the mark. If that's the case, I'm guessing you plan for this to be a 1 time cost.]

This is a one time cost. The mark is permanent until dismissed by the Kansatsu. The mark does nothing but sit there. It would be undetectable to anyone other then a Kansatsu, and therefore, how would someone even know to try to remove it?... it's an invisible mark. If someone were to carve out a portion of their arm which was marked... yeah sure... but they'd be meta-gaming to even know where they were hit. a 'Kai' would not release the technique, as this is not a genjutsu.

The problem with this is, how do you look into the future without forcing your opponents to conform to what you see? Even if you look just 1 post into the future, you are forcing your opponent to do as you see. Please give me some feedback on this.

Cobra will probably not like that jutsu because the Sharingan does the same thing, except not as far into the future.

The skill is called Clairvoyance, but it's not actual clairvoyance. Like the sharingan, it will map out a series of 'most likely to occur' events based on what the scene has observed, and calculates the 'most likely' route or course of action someone took based on all of the different spectrum's information they had at the time. It is a guess, but a very well educated one.

[In order of cobra's post, but also considering Lilly's ideas.]

1. Good.
2. Um, if spectrophotometry could be used to see inside of people, then what would the point be of having the byakugan? This bloodline has excellent chakra control, just like them, can see chakra network, just like them, and that being said could learn jutsu and see just like the byakugan. I think that:
A. The user should not be able to see into living things, or
B. The cost should be much higher than that of the byakugan.

3. I like Misuki's idea of costs for it. Do you?
4. But you have to ask yourself: Should a member of this clan be able to see so far ahead that they could dodge a taijutsu specialist's hits? Sasuke couldn't, because he lacked the reation times even with the sharingan active when he was a genin. And he just barely managed to keep up with the Raikage, but lacked the strength to do anything but dodge/deflect attacks. I think that you should only be able to predict the movements and react to them if the taijutsu user is 1 rank lower than you, and you have sufficient evidence that you have the skills to dodge/deflect/counter the attack.

Some more insight, please.

What do you mean with no clues? the whole point of the Kansatsu skill is that they use MULTIPLE clues (Left over traces of radio waves, microscopic analysis of particle movements, UV light and X-ray sensory sweeps and other such techniques to create a pseudo-psychic image of what has come to apss in the area recently. It can then project a 'most likely' route based off of the relics of movement and experience to guess where the target would have gone next.

Still, do you think a chance roll should be incorporated, or should we trust the bloodline to experienced RPers that won't abuse it?
