SakaSakura=^.^= my middle name is Sakara butthey didnt have it My guess is that it may sounds the same in both English and Japanese. How do you pronounce it? Do you have base sounds to go by? I'm thinking it sounds like Sa-ka-ra. Just like I-a-n (though his name is pronounced almost always the same in any language.). blaugh

My name is Sarah, so it came out as Seera. Although I think Seira is more acurate, because it kind of puts more stress in...(Sarah is very hard to say in a Japanese accent, because the syllables go sar-ah which isn't possible in Japanese.) I think, though I'm unsure, that in the actual Japanese language, my name would be Hime (princess). (Sarah means 'princess' in Hebrew. Which by the way, I hate that name.)

Hmmm . . . Gale came out as GEIRU (I never knew there was an 'i' in there)
and my real name, Alvin, came out as ARUVIN (I always thought it was a -bin not -vin)

Gale OverDrive Hmmm . . . Gale came out as GEIRU (I never knew there was an 'i' in there) and my real name, Alvin, came out as ARUVIN (I always thought it was a -bin not -vin) That's very curious..why would they change the L and not the V? The Japanese don't have the V sound in their alphabet. You are right, it should be Arubin. (Although, I have noticed that some Japanese music artists have adopted v's into their name, but only when written in romanji [the spelling of Japanese words in the Roman alphabet])

My name is Joy.. in Japanese it's pronounced (overall) like it is in English: Joi (ジョイ)
Since my name is an emotion, though, it can be translated into Kanji though XD I can either go by Yorokobi (喜び) or Kietsu (喜悦). I like Kietsu better (^^)

[Ema Skye] Name: Angel "EINJERU" makes sense. ^^ You could probably translate your name into Japanese fully if you wanted to, since it has a 'true' meaning. It would be: 天使 (てんし): 'tenshi' which is, of course, Japanese for "Angel"

s.o.l.e.m.n.-p.r.i.d.e. Gale OverDrive Hmmm . . . (Although, I have noticed that some Japanese music artists have adopted v's into their name, but only when written in romanji [the spelling of Japanese words in the Roman alphabet]) There is no L in Japanese so you'll have to write R instead. And you can actually form a V-sound by writing a U with two dots in the upper right corner of it + the small form of the vowel coming after it. For example Alvin is spelled like this in katakana: アルヴィン And it's not called romanji. XD It's roomaji. ローマ字 There's no N in that word. razz

My name is Jade so it would be Jeido much to my displeasure. I just don't like the 'o' at the end it reminds me of samurai for some reason.
