Teachers and Students alike screamed in terror as a gigantic, armor-clad snake blasted full speed into the doors of the academy, his head being the only thing to break through due to his immense size, and his helmet spike tearing the ceiling to bits. "Kaizen-san! Kaizen-san! I know you're in here, come out! Yamatano needs you!" Yelled Baselin, one of Yamatano's favorite snake summons. Baselin could only hope that he would get Kaizen and make it back in time before Yamatano and Robin were overrun.

Downer had been wondering why he had such an unnatural aptitude for these jutsu. He figured it was just his high intelligence, but now he wondered if it was something more.

The crash and appearance of the large snake however, shook him from his thoughts. He jumped back and stared at the snake in horror but when his white haired teacher suggested they'd be putting their skills to use and followed the snake out, it put him somewhat at ease. He gripped Storm in his hand and followed the white haired boy. Kaizen, was it? He thought as he took off, his natural speed making him blur to anyone watching him pass by. Lets see what being a ninja is all about.

Damien landed on the roof of the training facility and used the surrounding trees to descend to the bottom. He strolled in and looked around. "Wow, this place is impressive" he said to himself. He began walking around trying to think of the jutsu he should practice.

xxxxThe petite Genin's footsteps were silent as she made her way to the training facility, seating herself upon the floor in a corner and laying Yume beside her.she unrolled the scroll carefully and spread it out on the floor in front of her. She was determined to know the human body inside and out by morning, as that was when Fordon-sensei would arrive to test her knowledge. A small grimace on her face, she looked the diagram over and began her training with the skeleton. The best thing to do would be to start from the head and work my way down, then to do it backwards, she mused silently as she did just that. For nearly an hour, she sat silently, memorizing the bones and their locations on the human body. Every bone in the wrist, the ankle, the skull, was fully committed to memory after a short amount of time, she knew as her hand brushed along her arm and wrist, repeating the names of bones aloud to be sure that she had them all correct. xxxxThere has to be an easier way to do this, she wondered as the hours ticked past. Muscular and skeletal systems completed, she racked her brain trying to find a way to memorize which nerves went where. Central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, autonomic, somatic, the words meant little to Karis other than their locations as she struggled to commit each to memory. Central was along the core of the body, the brain and spinal cord being the biggest components. Peripheral was everything except the brain and spinal cord. That part was easy. Autonomic, that part was consciously controlled by the brain. The autonomic nervous system controlled the skeletal muscles. Somatic was subconscious reflexes, like breathing and having a heartbeat and blinking. She groaned inwardly as her brain moved on quickly, flicking over the major arteries and veins until she was sure that she had the diagram memorized. It was not until early morning that she had finished memorizing the diagram, and she took a deep breath once she was sure that she had done such. Clearing her mind and kneeling, she took a deep breath and began to meditate to a mantra, awaiting the moment when Yamatano and Fordon-sensei would arrive. [/2/2]

xxxxKaris opened her left eye, the pale azure of her iris visible between the thick eyelashes that fringed her eyes, and took in the person speaking to her. Fordon-sensei. The mere thought of his name made her want to sigh and grimace at the thought of the grueling training that she was sure to endure over the next few hours. Days? Weeks? Her well-toned muscles ached at the thought, but she stood, as she was expected to. Her right hand moved quickly to roll up the scroll and offer it to her sensei, being sure to only touch the very edge of the paper to avoid any kind of contact with the stranger who was to become her teacher. Her eyes flicked quickly over his person, lingering briefly at the exposed rows of stitches that marred his features. He had, she noticed, shaved since their last encounter, making Karis wonder if he had been traveling before his appearance at Luo-sama's Tower. But that wasn't important, and she flagrantly disregarded the thought before folding her hands before her and bowing, the muscles in her back rippling as she bent forward in a sign of respect.
xxxx"Ohayou, Fordon-sensei." Her soft voice was nearly lost in the din of the training facility as her lips gently formed the words "Good morning". She straightened, shifting her weight to rest more on her left leg than her right as she looked towards Fordon. "I'm alive. That's all that matters." Her voice was quiet and emotionless as she folded her arms across her chest. "Yes. It took a while, but I have the diagram cully committed to memory." Her sentences were clipped and terse, a sign of her not wanting to waste time that she could be training. Yume lay on the floor of the Facility next to her, the diffused morning light casting a subtle glow on the enormous blade that was a physical representation of her dreams.

xxxxKaris pulled her gloved hand back quickly, as soon as she felt the pressure on the end of the scroll telling her that Fordon had grasped the other end. In an almost mechanical gesture, she absentmindedly brushed her hand off on the back of her pants. No contact. That was rule number one. Her silvery blue eyes grew wary as she watched Fordon back up several meters, throwing a kunai so it landed, quivering point-down, embedded in the floor of the Training Facility. Her muscles rippled under her fair skin as she picked up her sizeable blade and rested it, hilt-up, against the wall in such a place where she would be able to see it at all times. That sword was her whole world. If she were to lose it, she would likewise lose her mind. If that were to happen, all hell would break loose and she would rampage until she had found, and presumably slaughtered, the thief. But that was the least of her concerns. her main priority was retrieving the kunai from where it rested, under the watchful eye of Fordon.
xxxx"You want me to retrieve the kunai?" She sighed and ran a hand through her hair before she began her task. "If you say so." She took three carefully measured strides forward before stringing several handsigns together. Her milky eyes widened, pupils constricting, as her field of vision changed rapidly, offering her a nearly 360-degree view of her surroundings. The telescopic enhancement of her clan's doujutsu brought the kunai into focus, enough to make it seem as if the kunai were a mere arm's length away rather than several meters. Her gloved hand dropped swiftly to a holster strapped to her upper thigh, drawing two kunai and grasping them tightly. Merely a precautionary maneuver on her part. She had no idea what this would accomplish, nor did she know what the point of this exercise was. What she did know, however, was that it was more-than-likely that she was going to experience something unpleasant in the next few seconds. That thought alone had her body bracing itself.
