Saphire ran into the Ramen Shop, completely late for her new job there. "Crap I'm late!" she yelled to herself. She had to take a job there, as well as going to school, to buy the things she needed, and being late on the first day was not going to look good.

*Baden walked through the town, noting all the people -mainly females- looking at him, he smiled slightly. This was the type of reaction he'd been expecting, because it was the reaction he got in every town he visited. He wasn't wearing a shirt, which for him was normal, and because his blindfold was securely over his eyes, he knew they were looking at him for a different reason, and that's how he preferred to be starred at, with awe and longing, rather than something scary and unnatural.* Thanks dad *he muttered under his breath*

killer_klaw Snowing Rainbows killer_klaw Snowing Rainbows "Your question states your curious, but your voice tells you do not really care. So why bother say anything..." Chloe sighed, sitting up this time. Her small figure made it easy for her to hug her knees, and to rest her head on them as well. "So, tell me, What brings you to Nanjing?" *He sighed heavily* Funny how both of your statements go together, my voice never shows emotion other then anger anymore, not since I lost them the day I ran from home. My father he...was a worthless piece of s**t my mother left me with my father the second I left her body, and I ran that ranch on my own pretty much from the day I was old enough to walk. *Sabin growled under his breath, clenching his fists at the memories* Looking up at him fully now, Chloe's face was washed over with a new emotion. Pity. but it wasn't the normal pity. It was something between sadness, and understanding. Removing herself from her chair, Chloe walked over to Sabin, and placed her arms around his neck. "That's horrible..." Even if she didn't know him well enough, a hug was defiantly in order here.
*Sabin's muscles jumped beneath her touch, no one had ever hugged him, everyone had always done their best to avoid touching him, for a stranger to do so shocked him from his anger. Not knowing how he should react, Sabin stood motionless as his anger subsided* he's the reason I became Blood *Sabin muttered* Chloe's eyes became hot and wet with tears, running down her pale cheeks. She was crying for him, something she hadn't done since her Father's death. Letting go, she sat upon her knees, and wiped the water from her cheeks. "I'm sorry He made you go though all of that...And I'm sorry I've been so awful to you." Voice barely above a whisper, Chloe smiled though her hot tears.

The Ramen shop was mainly empty, except for a few workers. One walked up to Saphire and said "You must be Saphire, new girl working here." Saphire nodded. "Okay, for now, you work at the counter and take orders. Sound good?" the worker said to her. Saphire smiled brightly. "Oh yes yes, that sounds great! Thank you!" she said. The worker smiled and said "You can go ahead, and wait for customers." Saphire nodded and went behind the counter, waiting for customers to arrive.

Removing strands of chestnut hair from her chalky-smooth white face, her deep teal eyes became more clear in sight. Their largeness in size made an impression. 'Protect me, for i am week and frail. I need someone strong to protect me.' Was the image that came from them. Of course, that is the opposite of what her emotions played.

Shifting to move down the ladder, Chloe looked up at Sabin. "T-The pie is done...we should go eat." Moving down the ladder hastily, Chloe practicably ran to the table.
