Kelvan heard the door slam and what sounded like Kit crying in the back. He put down what he was working on,... and then did something he normally wouldnt. He took a small metallic coin and put in in his sock. He felt its effects immediatly losing that extra spark that was him. He walked to the back where what he'd heard turned out to be true. "Need a shoulder? Its safe."

The air in the kitchen became stifling hot as Kit glanced up at Kelvan, her eyes having changed and now glowing red. "Get...away...from...me." She didn't want anyone near her, Tala and Kurai knew that if she cried, which was rare, to stay away. The new kids had no idea and Kelvan was just unlucky having approached her. He didn't move fast enough and a pillar of flames came down from the ceiling, slammed into Kelvan's stomach and shot him into the living room. He wasn't burnt or harmed, his clothing was just slightly smoking.

Kurai came into the living room and wrinkled her nose at the smoky smell on Kelven's clothes. "Baka, You should know Kit better than that by now. Well, maybe we shoulda warned ya." She chuckled slightly and flopped on the couch. Trying to be nice, she offerred kelven the remote.
Tala followed soon after, and giving a sniff at the smoky smell, said "Who pissed off Kit?"
Kurai said quietly, "Kanojo ha kanashi." Which Tala was able to translate as She's depressed.
(Sorry been a waaaaaay busy week with the con and work. back now!)

he was at the part where the house fell on the the evil witch when kelvan cae flying in from the kitchen smelling like smoke. he was going to investagate before he remote got snatched "hey!" damain said snaching the remote back, it had been at this toes before kurai had snatched it "i am watching the small people be funny" he said with a bit of a glare "after that you can change it" he continued the hugging hold on the remote to keep it safe looking like he dared anyone to try and take it.

"Man I don't need the friggin remote." Kurai smirked a bit as she made the light of the tv dim to almost black then flare bright before returning it to normal. "Just keep it for now. Hey K-dawg, yer stinkin up the room with the smokin." Kurai flapped a hand his way and laughed in an obviously joking manner.
Tala stayed uncharacteristally silent. She knew Kurai was just as worried as she was about Kit, but was trying to hide it.

Kit came out of the kitchen but didn't say a word to anyone else. She gave a look to Kurai for her to follow her then disappeared up to her room.
Meanwhile at the Brotherhood house Toad and the others had finally come back after Isabella's party and Mortimer went up to his room. Three new voicemail's on his phone and an unread text. He opened the text and it was from Mystique. His eyes widened, it was impossible. Magneto had seen the woman's body himself then he remembered they all had a fail safe system where it would send out messages to the entire group if one of the leaders died unexpectedly. He read it and grabbed a pen and paper from his desk and started writing down the information then deleted the text.

"Hey T-bird, keep the boys outta trouble k? Be back in a few." Kurai messed Damien's hair as she went by and went upstairs, then lightly tapped on Kit's door.

"C'mon in Kurai." She said and once Kurai was in the room with the door closed Kit motioned for her to sit in the bean bag chair opposite of the fox girl. Once seated Kit said, "Kuma was here. He finally arrived. He was trying to convince me to see the error of my ways and go back to Bayville." She shook her head and sighed. "I don't think he understands at all and I even tried to explain to him that we're actually doing something that Xavier should be doing but he's not. Xavier's way is taking to long." Kit leaned down and reached under her bed where she pulled out a stack of folders and set them in between herself and Kurai. "I went to Stryker's old lab and found those along with hundreds of other folders containing names, powers, affiliations, ectera of mutants around the country. I also found this..." She opened the top folder and turned it for Kurai to read. "He was passing along the information to Magneto and was getting paid very well for doing so, as well as information about some kind of device that would allow someone of only mutant status to be able to travel to another dimension. Sorta like that stupid Stargate show but only more advanced and you'd know where you're going, especially if you're looking for something specific. The dates on these papers were sent to Magneto around the time that Kuma said he appeared in our world....I don't think it was an accidental thing that our teddy bear appeared here."

"KUPO!" Kurai swore as she looked through the folder. "Wonder if Xavier knows. Would sure open his eyes 'bout his buddy I'd say."
Tala instigated a small wrestling match in the living room as a distraction.

damain jumped, quite litterly, into the wrestling match and showed little mercy. most of it was more tickleing and pining than anything else. during a free chance damain grabed a couch pillow to use in the brawl

"I don't think he does that's the thing. Xavier is a mind reader and all that but honestly, that helmet of Magneto's keeps him out pretty ******** good. Not to mention Stryker apparently had his own defenses against our dear Charles. I kind regret killing the ******** cause he'd be a useful prisoner right about now." Kit sighed and leaned back slightly. She then chuckled. "To bad we don't have a teleporter, we could go to Bayville and get into Xavier's office to talk to him about this without letting anyone know we were there and leave just as easily."
Her ears went back as she looked up at the ceiling and rolled her eyes. "Feel like going to Bayville with me? We may not be part of the x-men, not that we ever were, but it's only polite to give them a heads up on whats happening especially since they're not our enemies. More like our overly peaceful allies." She said with a laugh.

"Maybe Tala can get us in." Kurai said thoughtfully then raised an eyebrow at a particularly loud thud from downstairs followed by a laugh. "Least she's keeping the boys busy."
Tala ducked the couch pillow and grabbed Damien by the ankles tripping him. She laughed as he hit the floor and the pillow went flying right at Kelvin.

"Maybe we should make it a group field trip that way the Xavier kids know the whole group aside from Tala, yourself, and I." Kit said with a shrug and stretched her arms above her head. "Y'know what, ******** being all secretive. We'll just walk in and tell who ever answers the door to let us see Xavier."

~Kuma Idriov~
Kuma continued his trip back, knowing the way as he moved swiftly through the forest.
To those who have a sharp enough sense of smell to notice, a scent wafted on the air then. It was a familiar smell to those who would know it and one that seems a little outta place to others who did not. It was the scent of a musky animal, tinged with something under had to explain. To those who knew him it smelt like Kuma mostly. As if he stopped trying to hide his scent and really didn't bathe like he normally did for a wile. This of course making sense since he tracked Kit through the wilderness for days, not really having his normal personal higine accessorizes with him. It was a heavy smell, much like he was right outside entering the yard.
