Pandiecakes Hardrock_Cafe Pandiecakes If you want to host this contest, I'll cover the prizes for you. smile I'm trying to get people in the guild comfortable with hosting their own contests. It gets kind of hectic for me with school and all to host them myself every month. But I don't mind covering the prizes. Dont mind if we have one of my ideas next month then? Would be grateful to cover some of the prizes, i think i have nothing good in my inventory sweatdrop That sounds great! But you don't have to worry about covering the prizes, we have more than enough on the guild mule account. i have no clue how i would do digital art i dont have a tablet or a mouse D:

The problem I see with the current contest is that people are stuck with digital / traditional not by choice. Either, not having a scanner to upload anything traditional, or like wasabi said, not having a device to draw digitally. It's a nice contest concept, but only if everyone actually had the ability to participate.

Why not draw something traditionally and edit it digitally?
I'm sure it would be eligible for the contest.

Pandiecakes Why not draw something traditionally and edit it digitally? I'm sure it would be eligible for the contest. Well, the problem is that after you draw it traditionally, you can't get it on the computer without a scanner or a camera razz Well, I'm not really complaining about the contest, and I'm sure there will be enough people who have access to both mediums anyway.

I understand your viewpoint. But most traditional artists in this guild must have access to something. How do they upload their art otherwise?

---------------------------------------------- @ Quvi: Yes, Catherine is boss - I'm going to import it as a late b-day gift for myself.
@ Pandie: I'm going to use ScribblerToo's digital program to submit a drawing...If it's allowed, that is. D: ----------------------------------------------

You know what might be a fun contest? "Draw with our opposite hand!"
So if you normally draw right-handed, you draw with your left hand.
I don't know, could be interesting. *shot* Ambidextrous people might have an advantage though. LOL!!!

It's a good idea, but if you choose that, it would probably have to be traditional (because people can edit it in the computer).
