"She didn't make them for you? Maybe they were just meant for both of us, it wouldn't be fair for you to eat them without me." Orin said giving a slight giggle. Orin blinked surprised as Mikage sounded like his mother, slowly he smiled and moved away. "If your mom could hear you now." Orin laughed. "I suppose I should go take a quick shower before we eat so I don't have to rush to be on time for school."

"Maybe. Who knows." he said chuckling placing the finished ones on a plate. Mikage laughed, "If my mom heard me, she'd be starring at me weirdly then laughing. And then dad would probably mistake me for mom." he said sighing as he cooked. It happened before. At the mention of a shower he looked at the clock. "We are up early than we should be huh?" he murmured setting more finished cakes on the plate.

"And I am quite surprised by that fact considering you were up later than normal last night." Orin's father said walking into the room. "I generally have to fight to get you up Orin." he continued with a chuckle.
"I couldn't help but get up at the smell of pancakes." Orin said smiling before sitting down seeing the pancakes were done. He could take a shower afterwards.

"Eh? Orin still has problems waking up." Mikage said glancing at Orin with a slight pout as he remembered when he was younger how he'd run into Orin's jumping on his bed to wake him up. "If only I was small I could jump on him again." he said laughing as he grabbed plates filling them with pancakes and syrup. "Your having moms pancakes right pa?"

Orin couldn't help but blush as Mikage became surprised that he still had a hard time waking up. "You squished me even then!" Orin protested, Mikage had always been bigger than him but then again because he was half fairy he was smaller than normal.
"But of course." Orin's father said smiling.

Mikage looked at Orin chuckling. "If I didn't squish you, you'd never ever wake up. I wouldn't be surprised, if you were given the chance, you'd sleep for like the past ten twelve years." he said as fixed Orin's and Pa's plates with pancakes syrup, powdered sugar, whipped cream, and a strawberry on top.

Orin decided to be childish and stuck his tongue out at his best friend at first but looked a bit sad as Mikage said given the chance he would have slept. It was true and he had tried too. When Mikage had left he had tried to sleep the time away until he returned his fairy magic helping him, however his father called on the fairies to wake him. "Looks delicious." Orin's father said.

Mikage saw the flash of sadness across the others eyes. He smiled, "Well even if it was, it'd probably end up as a sleeping beauty story." he chuckled as he watched Orin's reaction. When Pa spoke, Mikage chuckled, "Of course, its mom's recipe." he said smiling as he sat down to eat himself.

Orin looked up surprised at Mikage's words a small blush crossing his face as he father laughed out loud. "Your mother always made some great food." he said.
"Yeah better than you dad." Orin teased.

Mikage laughed as he ate his food. "Yea but mom's still taste better than mine. While on food topic, can we have your sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast tomorrow pa?" Mikage asked, "Mon and dad both can't get the biscuits rights. Always make them until there rock hard and inedible" he said chuckling.

"Well your still learning." Orin's father said smiling as he ate.
"I think it tastes good." Orin said smiling.
"I don't see why we can't do that." Orin's father said smiling. "That means Orin will have to get up in time to eat or we can wait till the weekend."

Mikage looked at them as he smiled. "Thanks." he said as he continued to eat. "Don't worry, I'll make sure he's up in time." Mikage said as he went to second serving and soon third before he was full. As always Mikage was always a big eater and one to never get fat. He smiled as he washed his plate and dried it putting it back in the cabinet.

Orin smiled as Mikage said he was going to get him up tomorrow morning. Orin quickly finished his breakfast before going to take a shower. When he finally came back down he was dressed completely for school.

Mikage smiled as he got dressed for school while Orin was in the shower, already taken one before he made breakfast. When the two were ready, they still had time left. "Hm want to go out and waste some time?" he asked curiously not feeling up to staying in the house.
