"B'effas!" Garrick cheered, making a run for the door. He giggled and sped down the hallway towards the stairs. Sure they had only arrived yesterday, but he remembered which way the food was!


Arahad smiled at Toshiro. "Excellent," he murmured. "Good. I'll keep looking for more clothes that are the same size, you go on downstairs and I'll bring them to you when I can, how does that sound?"

He turned and stuck his head back in the closet, looking for more clothes of the same size.



Haradhel was in the dining room now, wiping the tables in preparation for breakfast for everyone else, and she smiled at Kara as she entered the room. "Good morning," she said warmly. "I hope you slept well."

She spied the child on Kara's back. "Would you like me to take one of them?" she offered.

Lore laughed a bit at that as he pressed a hand against the back of Hana, "Let's go and catch up to your brother."

Hana giggled and raced off after her brother with Lore after the both of them, though he paused long enough to remember to close the door after him.

The question took Kara a bit off guard, what an odd question considering what occurred this morning.

"No but I assume the person cursing a blue streak was him this morning," Kara replied, "It sounded like he fell off the bed."

Though she didn't think he would be so loud in the process of falling off his bed.


Toshiro made it to the stairs in time to watch Garrick go down the stairs. He stared at the kid for a moment and shook his head, "Nut...."

He instead made his way down the stairs at a slow pace, slower than usual because the last thing he wanted to do was accidentally bump his wings into anywhere he wasn't use to it.

Garrick giggled, and as soon as he reached the bottom of the stairs, he straightened his shirt (which had slid up on his way down) and started running away. "B'efas!" he squealed, making straight for the dining room.


Haradhel couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Ah, yes, and yes," she grinned. "I think I hear him coming though, I'll let him tell you what happened."

She spotted Garrick as he tore into the room, and laughed as he climbed up onto one of the benches at one of the tables. "And it looks as though someone's hungry."

Garrick grinned up at his aunt. "B'efas!"

When Toshiro came down it was dressed, and had managed to get his hair decently back into its usual style, which wasn't saying much since it was a bit spiky to begin with.

"Hi Mom...." he greeted her the moment he walked in.


"You grew!" Kara exclaimed and nearly squealed she would have hugged him too if her hands weren't full at the moment. Something she was sure Toshiro was grateful for.

"Err.. yea... sorry about this morning, I tripped over a wing."

"Sounds great," Toshiro murmured as he went over to take Hope from Haradhel.

He had to check the bracelet to see which sister it was. Carefully cradling the baby he went to grab a seat, he never felt comfortable standing and holding a baby.

Garrick beamed as he always did when Hana gave him a hug, and then he helped her up as well as he could, even though she did most of the work. Once she was up, he climbed up beside her again, sitting on his knees so that he could see over the top of the table. "B'efas, An' Hawafel! B'efas!"

Haradhel giggled at Garrick. "Coming right up," she winked at him. She smiled at Lore. "That's good. She was so exhausted by the end of the night ... she refused to use the elven sleep. I can't say as I blame her, but it would have made things easier."
