Peutaiite when you frequently look up your band songs on youtube, and then look up other band songs and imagine yourself playing them. I do that all the time hahaha

When you go to a Specialty Center for the visual and performing arts.
When you own 2 of the same instruments.
When you play along with recording of other bands when you have the sheet music...On YT.
When you spend money on sheet music for yourself.
When you take Private lessons.
When you have classical music on your ipod/mp3.
When you rant on about how you can't wait for band/music theory/piano lab/etc, next period.
When you have a sleeping place for you instument.
When you own a music stand.
When you get excited when you see better bands or concerts.
When you cry during on of the songs you play during the concerts.
When you move your body as you play.
When you work out our diaphram, just to get a good vibrato.
When you use musical terms when you talk to friend.
When you review concerts.
When you record yourself playing.
When you take a picture of you and your instrument.
When you go to every event involving you playing in the concert or event.
When you answer all the questions during class.
When you can conduct.

When you don't mind changing on the bus.
When you point out key changes and dynamics while listening to the radio.
When you practice your instrument more than you talk to your dog.
When being mauled by a drum is a normal part of life
When people worry when they see you without your instrument.
When "guard" means girl with pole instead of guy with gun.
When you respond to "band nerd."
When someone says the word "attention" and you automatically put your head up.
When your instrument has a name.
When everyone wants to kill the other football team...and you want to kill the other band.
When you can put on your uniform in less than two minutes.
When you roll-step through the cafeteria to avoid spilling your lunch.
When you're sitting alone in a room and you find yourself humming music from four years ago.
When you get the jokes on this list.

when you spend you're entire lunch practicing music.
when other band kids spend a free period just messing around and you get annoyed and tell them to practice and YOU"RE A FRESHMAN.
When you count down the days until your next field show and it isn't even for about another 5 months.

When people from your school who you don't even know walk up to you and say "you know, the band is the best thing about this school. You guys are literally the only reason we go to the football games and rallys."
I just remembered that this happened to me last Thursday after our rally. biggrin
|

When you use the new binder your mom just bought you for your music and you use the one that is falling apart for your school stuff.
when you name all of the pit equiptment.
when you ask your BD if you can present an award at the awards concert on behalf of the Freshman class to the band senate president.
^ I am doing that smile it's on Wednesday
when you should be studing for your math final, but you spend time organizing your music alphabetically and then practing it.
when the first person you want to talk to when something goes wrong is one of the seniors.
when you have the entire band on your speed dial and some of the band members' parents.
^ I have 74 people on my speed dial biggrin
and I have more that I might put later

When you have to pass someone when you are walking because the music you hear, you're walking to the beat, but they aren't.
This just happened yesterday. a marching band was preforming at the peir our band trip group was at and we were ALL walking (not marching thank god) to the beat and we had to pass EVERY single person but the band itself. lol

Goddess of Glomps When you have to pass someone when you are walking because the music you hear, you're walking to the beat, but they aren't. This just happened yesterday. a marching band was preforming at the peir our band trip group was at and we were ALL walking (not marching thank god) to the beat and we had to pass EVERY single person but the band itself. lol Somethign similar happened at our trip to disney. We were walking along heading towards California screamin, and the toy soldiers are out. Well, they start marching away, and we barely managed to leave them, because we wanted to march with them. Two people from drumline were secretly marching with them off to the side. -When you arch with a group of soldiers or nother band
