Hi! I'm Sherlock. No kidding... Heh. Colleagues and friends call me Sardines, though. (So I'm a Sardine and Erik's a Carp... This is getting weird, isn't it?)
I'm a teacher too! I teach History - sometimes. When I'm not getting off on bizzare tangents. My spelling sucks, so don't get onto me about that, 'cause I'm admitting it up front. I'm a Holmes freak, Monty Python freak, afficionado of all things American and the odd guy who always seems to be spacing out. I like the smell of dry erase markers.

Did you prompt him Erik? ninja i have to admit that i thought you and Holmes were the same person initially, simply because of the small font you both use, but then i'm a naturally suspicious person neutral
Welcome Sherlock, it's refreshing to meet a teacher who can't spell, i have to admit that having Erik around makes me a little nervous after reading his confession about being a grammar nazi in his profile ninja but i see i am still quite happily ignoring capitalisation so he can't have had too strong an effect cool

You thought we were the same person? gonk Woah. That's... so not right! Freddy'll vouch for me, if he ever gets online. And paranoia is fun, so dont' worry about being a suspicious person. And I can offer definitive proof that I'm not a Carp. I love cold pizza and I could totally knock Erik cold in a fistfight. xd

<.< >.> JELLO WRESTLING!!! He probably could knock me cold, too, but I could deflate his ego with a good thrust of the épée. And I could blow his brains out at three hundred yards with a Colt .45. Beat that, Fishface!
That sounded really, really juvenile...

Get that image out of your head RIGHT NOW Hippo scream
and yes Erik, it did sound a little teenage, but you spend your days surrounded by the little dears so you are excused, do you fence too? Is that another addition on your list of typically English eccentricities, or were you just refering to your rapier wit?

I will be studying at University of East Anglia, Norwich in about 3 weeks for a full academic year. I currently live in California about half an hour away from San Francisco and normally go to school down in San Diego. biggrin . I'm really excited about going to England and plan on travelling all over the UK, and Europe as well.

what does Norwich stand for Geo?
My friend Mark lives there, i'ts a very popular area to live now, with many, many Londoners moving in and pushing house prices sky-high, but with them they bring all the big high street stores so it's not all bad!
Maybe not a good thing to tell a student, but Norwich is now meant to be fabulous for shopping xd hope you enjoy your time in england Tyenshee 3nodding
EDIT!!! eek i've just remembered what NORWICH stands for redface trust you to mention that Geo rolleyes

Glad to see Hippo hasn't lost his touch with the new lady members... blaugh Welcome, Tyenshee, hope you enjoy the guild (and Georgey's non-too-subtle attentions...) wink
Also, a belated welcome to Holmes - I also thought that you and Erik were one and the same, except for the spelling (but that could have been Erik's way of throwing us off the scent...) xd
