" Yes.." crouching into a ready pose she tied her hair back, her eyes focused on Banshi's hand.

Banshi tossed the needles, it was amazing how percise she could be with so many small objects and in one swift movement. But Banshi wanted to remove as many of Mercy's weaknesses as possible. She did not want to expose why... Not quite yet.

The first few tries ended badly, what seemed to be more needles hitting her each time until she paused.. took a breath, and nodded for the next volly. something calm was building up in her, pushing out the stress of failure and giving her room to study the next attack.. the last one pushed from her mind. Adrinaline gave her a extra push, letting her weave around the needles artfully.. then stare in shock as she realized none had hit her. thrilled she let out a hoot of laughter, still as playful as she had always been. she had a purpose.. a job.. and a place in the world.. but for all of this, and the troubles they would likely cause.. none of it could take her will to enjoy life.

Seeing Mercy jump around and be so joyful made Banshi feel deeply happy, and proud of Mercy. Banshi truely, deeply loved and lived for her kind. A warm heart felt expression on her face, Banshi walked over to Mercy and smiling gently, said, "Excellent. Now, do you feel up to hand to hand combat like before, or would you like for us to go find Michael first?"

Mercy, still grinning like a loon, shook her head. " Hawk drilled that into me along with strength control.. who is Michael?"

" Cool.. lets bounce." pulling her bag pack on she gave a thumbs up sign, thrilled at meeting another of her kind.

"Michael is probably at the Knot Cafe, I use to hang out there a lot myself. Let's go!" Banshi started running to the Mainlands, just fast enough to give Mercy a good work out, but not so fast she could not keep up.

It was the sound of blood hissing that roused him.. the masked figure tossing his bow into the protection of a caved in home, his gaze locked on his enemy as the vampire burned in the sunlight.. her screams inhuman in their agony. takeing a single arrow from his back he walked forward, pulling the charing female into his arms as he spoke calmly to her.. giving her last rights. his voice fell silent and the demon turned to ash, Wrath turning away before he himself started to waver. the slash along his upper arm was being burned closed, his blood turning to smoke as the sun stroked its destructive fingers across his skin.
pulling his cloak tight he returned to the caved in home, entering the soothing shadows and sinking down against the wall as relief swept through him.. the torment of the sun had lifted, but the damage was done. leaning his masked head back he simply breathed.. his bow clutched tightly in his hand as he allowed himself to rest.

The sun was warm against her fur, the bright light comforted her when she came upon the ruins. Though dreadfully sad, Kiya enjoyed seeing the Ruins. They were physical memories, reminders of that which was treasured before it was abandoned. Padding softly through the road she searched around herself, weary of travelers. She hadn't meant to travel so far, but her hunt had taken her beyond the borders of the Dires. And in the end it had evaded her. Sure now that no one was truly around she ducked into one of the caved in homes from before, not sensing that it was already occupied. She was tired, not focusing on her surroundings. Dangerous for a Huntress, especially when she shifted back to her human shape.

There was no pause, nor sounds of shock.. Wrath giving a ragged cough as his body fought to heal itself. the scent tickled his nose first, the smell of sweet blood so close he could taste it.. but it was fallowed by other scents as well, that of Wolf and sunshine and freshness. It was seduceing..
The strike, when it came, was psychic.. a thrall spinning its way through the Dire's mind. the voice was her own, repeating softly. Sleep.. sleep.

The cough caught her by surprise, causing her to spin around as she looked, but couldn't find the source. And when the words in her mind came, they were calming. Soothing. Enticing...
She felt no choice but to listen, though a small part of her knew. That was not her voice. It couldn't be, it was far too powerful. But she couldn't fight it as her body shook lightly, careful of the crashing wall as she slid to the ground. She was so far away from home, but it was so packed. She just needed a nap. One small nap, and then she would leave. That's it. Unable to fight it anymore her eyes closed as she rested her head against the ground, remaining in human form for once as she fell into a dreamless slumber.

Carefully, so carefully, he made his way closer.. removeing the lower half of his mask as he felt his fangs p***k his lower lip. kneeling he assured himself she only slept before lifting the girl into his arms, his hold gentle even as he studied her features. She was not wicked, in no way deserved what he was doing to her.. but he could do nothing else. Forgive me.. his head lowered, his mouth sliding easily to the calm pulse in her neck. Damn him for it.. but he could not resist the sirens song, not when it was so close. Wrath's fangs slid easily into her skin, his bite far too shallow to cause her any discomfort as he fed.. fighting off the feeling of rapture that always came from his dark bite.

Even as she slept, even with every part of her relaxed, Kiya felt the sting of fangs in her neck and moaned softly. It was as if she was awake yet asleep, she was aware yet she wasn't. And she could feel him drinking from her neck. The horrible part? She had never, not once in her life, been prey in the game of survival. And at the moment, she was. Though part of her knew she had to fight to get out of this situation, her body and her mind paralyzed, wanting nothing but to stay in this slumber she had yearned for for days. The slight movement she made in his arms with another small moan was her only movement as she fell into a deeper sleep, that part of her letting go.
