Katie blinked, seeing Leo and Colin argue, "For now I say we wait and see how Scotty is when he wakes up." She said hoping to calm things down... If this were an anime, she would have a sweat drop on her fore head at the moment. "While we are waiting we should try to find a way to lure them out of this town.. They even caused a big ruckus at the mall and I don't want to see innocent people get hurt.
((Sorry everyone--school started--i have a cold-- and dealing with a migraine--and dealing with my asthma at night[no sleep] and other womanly things that you probably don't want to hear.... x.x;;; I'll post when I can..))

Suddenly it seemed as if more people were added to the group- making things less favorable for Jacqueline. But an order was an order nonetheless, and rather than attack, she hid safely behind to see just where it was that they were going. The group went into a house before Jacqueline sat down outside. There was no way she could deal with them all in a group- but if they were separated, she may be able to fight one at a time until she reached the target.

"I don't want anything" Leo replied looking at him strangely tilted his head, didn't want to get annoyed any furthers and walked into the kitchen then great a glass and filled it with ice cold water and then walked out ignoring the less trusted person and places it on the table next to Colin

((Argh, it's hard to find time. Here goes.))
Riju followed the group carefully, looking down frequently to check her footing in the snow. She had bad night vision. The figures hurrying away were indistinct to her, but their smell was clear as day.
Riju's tongue flicked out again and she hurriedly clamped her hand over her mouth. I need to stop doing that, she thought, glancing from side to side. There didn't seem to be anybody else on the street. But she couldn't be too careful. Her thick, heavy tail was concealed by her trenchcoat, as were the scales on parts of her limbs, but she couldn't resist using her tongue to smell, especially when she couldn't rely on her vision...
The only things on the street were a few cars and some bushes. Reassured, Riju kept following the tracks.
((Okay, Terry can confront her or she can find the house/apartment. Sorry for the wait.))

"Cats don't like water, idiot." Colin told Leo, getting mad. He didn't feel safe in this environment, though he didn't want to leave and have something happen to Katie because he was stupid. "Who are you exactly? What do you do for a living?" Colin asked Leo, though he looked around, feeling another person close by.

"it's for drinking, cat drink, or do you prefer milk?" Leo replied then turn his head towards Scotty and ignored the annoying boy, and focus on Scotty for a minute then got up and walked off to the kitchen for a second and look through the fridge.

Katie kept a watchful eye on the others as she waited for Scotty to wake up. She stood up and followed Leo into the kitchen, staring at Leo as she spoke, "What are you planning to do with us.." She knew he was up to something as she explained, "You don't seem so surprised about anything we have said.."

Leo turn towards Katie then closed the fridge door, "nothing but to aid you until you guys are healthy and ready to move on" Leo answered, then look to the right then back towards her, "should I be? I've seen some half breeds before you know" Leo replied then walked to the door and opened it, "come with me" Leo walked down stairs and into his lab, "I'm a scientist, I've observe disease on any different type of species and try to find some sort of cure, but unfortunately the government doesn't allow me saying it was a waste of my valuable time and money" Leo put on his apron

Colin frowned at Leo, not bothering to say anything to him. What was the point? Colin followed the 'scientist' and Katie down to his lab, he cringed seeing all of the equipment. One thing that this lion didn't like was being experimented with. Not realizing it, Colin's lion tail began to flicker anxiously. "You're going to work AGAINST the government for some people you barely know? Do you know that it could be a potential suicide mission?" Colin asked, glaring at Leo.

Leo look back at the boy, "well it's that or we can all die" Leo pointed out the obvious, he sighed then walked to one of his antidote for a type of flu, he looked at it then put some chemicals in it watching it change colors, he wanted to earn their trust instead of being killed he decided to help them and try to get them healthy again

Katie thought for a moment before offering to help Leo. "My mother was a scientist.. she showed me some of the basics.. Is there anything I can do to help..?" As she did her tail that had been wrapped around her like a belt undid itself, revealing what she truly was. Not just a halfbreed but a cat/human halfbreed. Though she was risking a bit, she felt slightly amused at what Leo's reaction would be..

Leo look at Katie then was thinking, then look at his chemicals bubbling as it slowly changed colors,
"she is eh? what type of scientist was she?"
Leo asked curious wanting to know because he could be different from the type of scientist he is and might get the wrong idea, he smiled politely for her

"She specialized in genetics in animals and humans.." Katie said rather proudly. She then added confidently, "She also dabbled in plants.."

Leo smiled at her,
"really now? I'm not much of a biological scientist, I don't test on circular animal type cells organism but I do on square plant's cell organism, I worked on medication with requires the type of vegetation for the type of disease that people obtain from the most common type of injuries"
Leo replied smiling at her,
"so how much do you know about animal?"
Leo asked thought that she was just human

Katie quirked a brow slightly, "Well, what my mother has taught me, and also my instincts.." She flicked her tail slightly so he'd take notice of it.
