The black, dark smoke changed direction, it got heavy and gravity took it downward. The lance fell faster, though, and it landed tip in the ground, with a slight displacement of ten degrees. And Ephraim was heading right to it.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHA, don't do it, lancer!"

Seeking hope in an unknown land......within the despair all around... _____________________ Loch ignored the nomad. No more words were necessary. He walked on through the area, gazing up at the mountains. This battle wasn't necessary. Loch had only wanted to save Jyoti, why did it have to come to this? Why? They could have been free...but they chose this life, no matter what the costs of it would have been. And this was the cost. Destruction. Ruination. Despair. ...Rebirth? He had promised that he would set her free. And...as horribly as it had ended, he had to slowly convince himself that he had fulfilled his task. He had set her free so she could live on with her love in the afterlife. He doubled over and hurled. Fighting always made him sick. ...He had set her free. He had kept his promise. One day, thousands of years from now, as today's citizens worshipped them from thousands of years ago, they would be remembered again. Deification through death. Sacrifice. ... He glanced over as he felt that familiar aura again. The aura of kin. She felt sadness much like his own. He looked around, spotted her holding the Raven's corpse. Stained with blood. He looked down at his own hand, still covered in Jyoti's blood. Hesitating a moment...he wiped it off and approached her. He knelt beside her. And he took her in his arms, hugging her gently. _____________________ I search for happiness, whatever it takes.

((Oy..... Too late. >.< ))
After the General died, Isadora looked down on her. It was so sad to see someone who didn't wish to fight die. Well.... At least she wasn't killed by her own hand. It would have brought more guilt upon her.
Isadora knelled down and took the weapon from the General. She gave one last look at Misura. Her eyes were filled with sadness too, but for a different reason. She spoke softly, "I will, poor General. I'll make sure your sword will be in good hands. May St. Elimine lead you to peace and rest your soul."
The paladin got up and blew a whistle. Her horse came to her. As she got on it, she looked at Misura's sword. It was a good weapon. After all, she had some trouble trying to counterattack. However, this weapon was a two-handed. This didn't fit well for a paladin. She needed both a sword and a shield.
Perhaps she would find a sword wielder to use it. Blossom would do so. After all, she was the only person she could think of and she didn't knew the Watch men well. Holding the General's sword where her shield arm was and her other hand holding onto her sword and rein, Isadora raced through to find Blossom. While at the same time, she sliced down the morphs.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHA, don't do it, lancer!"
Ephraim froze before he got any closer and looked up just in time to see the spear coming down.
s**t s**t move, NOW!
His body jumped back just as the lance hit the dirt, shaking the ground a bit and threw him off balance for a moment. Close call..wait..the spear..He looked up once more from the spear, to Ledreak, then dashed forward to prevent him from retreiving his weapon.

Perfect. Nothing appeared perfect for either of them. Ledreak's full of mysterious properties, and Ephraim has the upper hand currently, and was charging, rushing.
"Try an' do it, pretty white boy... Ledreak don't play." he said in an audible enough voice for a 5 foot radius to hear.
Graver was no longer smoking, or pulsing, and was just stuck in the ground.
The way the battle was going, he would have to wait for Ephraim's lance to meet up with him. He stood still in wait, slightly tense.

As Ed was fighting alongside Leon, John, and Ziaram, her eyes caught the lightning arrow that had speared across the sky.
"Hoooaaaa!!" she exclaimed in amazement, for all she saw was a sparkly arrow shooting a giant bird out of the sky. That was one less worry off their minds! As she kicked another morph down and stabbed it into the ground, advancing further into enemy lines, Ed sought out the one who shot the arrow.
She saw a man who looked vastly horrified, darkly haired in quite the solemn choice for clothing, and not too far off was —
"GREAT FLIPPING PIECE OF FLUXING FLOTSAM!!" Ed roared, startling even the morph right in front of her. She decided to notice this guy and ran her sword right through its chest before returning to Melethia. "Whatcha doin' all the way over there, Mel!? That's the bad guy's side! And WOMAN YOU BETTER MAKE YOURSELF DECENT RIGHT THIS INSTANT OR ELSE!!"
And Ed stamped her feet to emphasize, bringing her boots down upon some corpse's arm and snapping it.

Annis' hand rested still against Castello's cheek. He was... he wasn't waking up, was he? He wasn't going to wake up... The smell of blood was enough to make her sick, set her stomach churning. Tears were still falling against Castello's now-bare breastbone, every so often hitting the Tervingi Crest that hung around her neck. Without his Crest, his black laguz' wings were gone. Annis put one hand against the amulet and stared at the shifting colors of the gem, eyes blurring again.
She hesitated, looking up from the Crest. A rustling of... wings... Annis turned immediately, tearing eyes wide. Loch knelt next to her. Even after cleaning off his hand, she could see the traces of blood on his form. Whether or not she had the mind to ask him, she didn't have the time before his arms wrapped around her and held her close.
Annis hiccuped. She stared just over his shoulder, eyes threatening to spill over once more. How many tears could one person shed...? Letting the Crest rest quietly against her breastbone, Annis got her arms around Loch's back and buried her face into his shoulder. She couldn't manage any words out as her wings twitched and folded tightly behind her, as if to hide from view. Like they didn't exist.
She didn't deserve the Crest, didn't deserve Loch's sympathy, didn't deserve any of this... But she didn't let go.
Blossom was still fighting with Chickenwire. How many morphs could there be? There were so many spells sending out energy in random directions, forcing her to block or dodge, and the morphs just kept coming and coming... both she and Chickenwire, though, were in decent condition. With Blossom protecting his back, and he protecting hers, they were capable of preventing most severe attacks. Blossom had a few nicks and a cut across a cheek that created a small trickle of blood that had finally crawled to her jawline, but overall, she was fine.
Blossom looked up, panting, to gauge how things were going. Some of the Heroes had fallen... Castello, the raven, the General and Valkyrie... and there was Isadora, running towards them...
With a very large sword in hand. What the heck?
"L-Lady Isadora?" Blossom panted. She had drawn her Iron Axe over time, and after calling to the Paladin, she rapidly turned and deflected a strike from a Swordmaster. A heavy blow to the abdomen sent the morph falling, and then Blossom took a step back, hands tightening on her weapon. So many...

"Or maybe your just...done" Ephraim replied, coming very close to Ledreak, close enough where his spear reached. It came in contact with skin, possibly drawing blood. Ephraim didn't know, but it came to that.

Isadora slashed down the morphs with her own sword as she headed toward Blossom and Chickenwire. She couldn't use her shield to whack her opponents, thanked to the sword she was carrying. However, she had managed to find the person she needed.
"Blossom," Isadora shouted as she slowed down her horse. She sliced the archer's neck while slowing it down. Once she was stopped, she turned to Blossom and raised Misura's sword to her.
"I got this from the fallen Hero. Though this sword is a good weapon to battle against, I cannot use it since it is a two-handed weapon. I think this sword will be handy to you. Use it wisely and take great care."
Isadora handed the sword to Blossom. She then quickly charged to attack the morphs before she could hear Blossom replied. If she found another person who needed help, she would come to his or her aid.

Melethia looked at herself. She was realizing that she was still only in her bra, panties, gloves, fishnet stockings, and stilletto boots.
"Oh Rangarok what have I done this time!?" She thought, "Shento needs protecting! Screw being decent!"
"b***h I'm going to protect the man I love! Got a problem with that, then ATTACK ME!" She yelled with her fangs and eyes now more dragon like. She was now infront of Shento acting like a shield for him.
"And if you are going to attack me, you only have one shot to stop me." She opened her Dragon Fire. "Cause if you fail, I'm going to make sure you burn into cinders!"

Blossom stared at the sword. Why did Isadora have that? Yes, that General was dead, but for her to have it... did she just take it? "I got this from the fallen Hero. Though this sword is a good weapon to battle against, I cannot use it since it is a two-handed weapon. I think this sword will be handy to you. Use it wisely and take great care."
Blossom studied the sword dubiously. It sure was big... bigger than what she usually wielded. "I'm not sure if--" she began, only to yelp as Isadora put it into her hands without another word. Blossom stumbled and gripped the hilt, trying to balance it properly. This thing's as tall as I am...! Blossom thought, eventually managing to get a good hold on it.
"It's... a lot lighter than it looks," Blossom commented. The runes embedded in the sword almost seemed to... glow as she heard the distinct noise of rushing flames. She whirled around, aiming to deflect the flames with the broad side and let them filter off harmlessly, but as the magical attack struck, the flames sank in and the first rune stayed lit. Blossom stared at the sword, looked to Chickenwire, then at the sword again. She smiled wide. "Bitching!"

Soren turned away from the fallen raven, as it appeared other birds had decided to settle about his body and mourn. That was fine, it was none of his concern. What concerned him at the time was his energy, quickly fading from his body. The vitality that the dragonstone had imbued him with was vanishing, something that he required if he wanted to proceed, but as it was ebbing from his veins and so he could not proceed.
Soren slowly slumped against a wall. He sat before his knees could give out and attempted to rest himself that way. Setting out the Rexcalibur and Elwind tomes, the disciple slipped them beneath his legs. It was a bit more comfortable without the two pressing against his ribs or waist.
He breathed in and out, slowing his respiratory rate, and turned his head. "Fa. If you wish to press forward, do so. But please keep yourself alive."
Soren then allowed his head to roll back so that he gazed skyward. He felt his energy leave him and he closed his eyes, having separated himself from the battle. Hopefully all from a distance mistook him for being dead. "Goddess Ashera, I am no longer of use. Guide the rest of them to victory. ...I will return soon enough."

Lance shook himself awake. He hadn't been resting for long, but he already felt re-energized. He picked himself up, as he gazed out over the battlefield. The fighting is almost over, huh...? He tried finding Annis, but he couldn't see her from his position. Maybe she was in a prone position right now. Whichever the case, Lance didn't feel like lingering too long. He set off with a goal in mind to begin with. This incident certainly slowed him down, but now he could just resume his journey.
Back when he first arrived in Learania, he passed by a beautiful clearing that had a river and a small waterfall. That was his destination.
Lance opened his locket, and let the compass guide him in the right direction, before he departed again. He couldn't do anything else here, anyway.
Lance then disappeared into the forest, and was no longer visible to anyone.

Sue had followed Isadora, wiping the tears from her eyes as quickly as they came. She would grieve later... but for now, she had another task at hand. Drawing her silver bow, she started to arrow any morphs that might get in the Lady Paladin's way of reaching Blossom. Besides... her and Chickenwire looked like they could use some backup. The nomad whistled, and through the chaos of the battlefield, her loyal steed, Andre came rushing to her side, and she mounted him again, proudly. Now, she was much faster, and was beside Isadora rather than trailing behind. "Blossom... " the nomad muttered her name...and since she didn't personally know her Watchman comrade, she just nodded in his direction. "And... you sir. Are you all right? I will stick arrows through whatever enemies I can." Victoria prayed for the souls of the lost... on either side silently before shooting off Auras to fend off the Morphs. She didn't know if her blessed gifts would be enough to fight the heroes, to be honest, but she did know that one of these rare talents, her healing would help the warriors the most.
As the Psychic's sapphire reacted, she healed accordingly.. all the while still making sure neither her nor Arashe fell in battle. Leon all the while noticed Ed really freaking out at the fact that Mel was not only 'indecent' (how improper for a battlefield), but with one of the heroes, whom was having a breakdown? He rushed Anri forward again, making sure to stay again within Amelia... and now Ed's reach. "Hey, don't ya be goin' wi'out us, ya 'ear?!" Leon told Ed, almost scornfully, but more out of worry. "I dunno what this red-head 'ere thinks she be doin' either... but that guy be one o' them heroes... 'e shot down 'is own!"
And Leon too noticed the falls of Misura and Jyoti. He wondered how Amelia fared with Kyros... but there was so much chaos going around... and then there was Shento, right in front of him. One of those with legendary power. To be honest... he was kind of scared...
