Adin laid there awake, thinking about what was to come when his uncle finally found him. Before he had started this journey his uncle had gave him a task.. to steal the stone of shadows before anyone else got it. His uncle probably got the news by now that he hadn't done it, and that he had killed Lythias. " Bring it to me Adin or i promise you, you won't see another face again. " his uncle had said.. When Adin found Leah, he planned to lie to her to tell her he was there to keep her safe, then he saw Jade. Everything that his uncle had planned disappeared.. he knew he couldn't do it even if he tried. He loved them both far too much and knew that he had to do what ever it took to keep them safe. Now he was willing to accept the consequences..

Adin knew that it had only been just a few hours and that it was still dark out. Jade probably wasn't in a deep sleep which he was hoping for, she was most likely alert. " How am i ever going to do this.. " he thought to himself. He was still awake, growing very tired and weary. His body still ached all over from what had happened recently in the past. He looked towards Leah and smiled slightly. " She's such a sweet girl " he thought then looked back towards the ceiling.

As far as his uncle.......
" Gather all of my men, Adin has still not returned. " he told one of his servants. " Sir, I have some bad news.. Adin did not fulfill his duty. It has been said that he's on the girl's side and that he had killed one of our allies. " Adin's uncle's face grew very angry looking. scream " Hurry up and gather my men! " he stormed out of the room and got ready to leave.

(( eek ))

Adin turned his head and looked at Jade, then towards the window. The sun was barely starting to rise, and it was getting a little light out. Time to go.. he thought. He kissed Jade on the cheek sadly and said " I love you " then slipped out of bed and went over to Leah. " Be safe Leah.. " he whispered and kissed her on the forehead. Then finally he headed towards the door and looked back at the two sleeping girls, sighed, then shut the door behind him and got onto his horse. He then disappeared through the trees, and headed towards home..

A nightmare waiting to come....

Adin continued towards his destination and stopped abruptly. A pack of wolves came and growled harshly. Then moments later his uncle appeared with tons of men behind him. " Nice to see you Adin. " His uncle looked furious. " Uncle " Adin bowed his head at him in greeting. His uncle made a small motion with his hands and the wolves attacked. Adin's horse backed up scared then got onto it's hind legs and bucked Adin off.

Adin fell and rolled onto the ground, during the fall he had managed to break his leg. Then the wolves attacked his horse. His horse luckily made it out of the attack and galloped back towards the healer, it's neck was bleeding tremendously. Adin rolled over, gasping, and looked towards his Uncle. He got off his horse and 3 men came with him. " Stand up " his uncle said. Adin did as he said then got slapped in the face harshly. which knocked him back to the ground.

Adin's uncle was in fury now. " You,Adin were suppose to bring me back the Stone of Shadows " his uncle walked around him in a circle. " And yet you have failed me " He motioned again, Two of the men started kicking him and beating him up till blood was coming out of his mouth. " What did i tell you Adin. You did not listen yet again, so now you must pay the consequences " The men continued to beat him up.

Adin was getting weaker and weaker.. His uncle motioned for the men to stop. " But I have different plans " he got close to Adin taking him by the collar. " I will kill you from the inside out. " Adin had a flashback of when Lythias said that. " I'm going to make this the worst last moments of your life Adin. " He hit him to the ground. " We'll start out by maybe putting you in a cell." He chuckled darkly then turned his back on Adin and got onto his horse. " Take him away " he motioned the guards then headed off again back to where they came from. The guards picked up Adin and put him in chains..

He was now a prisoner....

Once they got to their destination.. They threw Adin in the darkest cell. In the cell was also an injured wolf. Adin collapsed as they threw him. His leg broken leg hurt, and now he could hardly breathe. He had bruises, and cuts everywhere and he felt light-headed. He leaned against the wall, and the wolf growled at him showing his fangs. A guard came in with a whip that had spikes on it.. and started whipping and beating Adin. Adin screamed in pain.. then passed out and the guard left him there. He was bleeding pretty bad now and didn't look in good shape anymore. O.o

(( surprised eep.. ))

Adin laid there, in a puddle of blood. He knew he was probably dying, he had lost a lot of blood. But was glad and hoped that Jade and Leah were still safe.. He whispered the name again " Jade.... " then fell back into unconsciousness.

Leah woke up and saw that neither Jade or Adin was here, she had a vision of Adin in trouble, and then saw Jade crying. Something doesn't seem right here. she got out of bed and ran outside.

Leah ran along the scent of Jade's path. She finally reached her. " Jade " leah whispered, saddened at the sight of her crying. She ran towards her and hugged her " Where's Adin? " she asked.

Adin's uncle entered the room and saw Adin unconscious, he came over and kicked his broken leg brutally. Adin woke up with a scream, then gasped looking at his uncle. His face was pale and he probably didn't have much longer to live. " I enjoy the sight of pain you know. When one does not follow directions i think it is right that they should suffer for disobedient. " he said. Adin's face had no more expression in it. His eyes were filled with hurt, anger, and sadness. " I've decided to spare you nephew although it probably won't matter since your already half dead but, you will be my slave for now on. Every hour you shall receive a beating. If you do not follow directions or speak when not told to you will get them sooner. Understand? " He stepped on Adin's leg. Adin bit his lip until it bled, trying to keep from screaming, and nodded. " Good " his uncle smiled darkly.
