Lieutenant Josh Kartzmark
UNSC Odyssey
Wondering why he IS on the Bridge

Josh listened to them as they half bashed, half agreed, with him. Then they asked why he was there...
Which he really didn't know. He sat there for a few seconds, a bit dumb founded.
"Well, sir, to tell you the truth.. I thought this was the way to the hanger bay."
Niiiiiice. Now he was screwed.
"Uhm, sorry. Sir. I'm a much better navigator when I'm flying something. Never been good with walking."

Stone, Harold | UNSC Marine O-3
Harvest
Waking up from his nap.

He stirred half awake, he realized he was no longer in pain, heck, he felt more alive than ever. He jumped up, feeling so alive, more than ever before! He started to look around, and saw the marines quite surprised to see him all fit and healthy. He had obviously respawned, in some way. He the looked towards the sentinels, and glared are them. Then he smirked.
He walked forward and laughed all self lovingly so. His mouth moved differently to the way he spoke, like in one of those very old foreign movies voiced over by Americans.
"You...will be defeated...sentinel...scum!" His mouth moved for another few seconds, then he started to scream while in a ready to battle stance. He was now glowing a golden yellow. It was his aura, and it grew and grew, larger and larger, until he screamed at the top of his lungs and an explosion of light came from him with a howling wind. He was now a super saiyan, he was so strong and powerful. He flew up in the air, and went at astounding speeds, mark 2, 4, 6, 8! Who do we appreciate? Harold! GO GO, GO HAROLD!
So he killed many upon many sentinels with the flick of his fingers, he was all powerful. Suddenly there was a large explosion.
Harold woke up, to find himself in the same pain as he was in for the last few hours, it was all a dream...nothing more than a strange dream. He lay there, wondering what was happening.

Sergeant Scarlet R. Whitmen
Marine Combat Medic
Moving out

Scarlet looked at her new companion "Recarta is it? Hold the wheel for a moment.." she reached for the side of her lag, she grasped her pistol and handed it to the Lance Corporal "Thats all I got, use your pistol aswell.. Oh and contact Cain, tell him to stay close!" she took control of the vehicle once again. She looked back at Corporal controlling all the firepower "You okay back there Corporal?"

Corporal Oleksy Lebenov
Location: Alpha base entrance, warthog
Status: Moving back the structure

"Fine as can be ma'am, but that was my ship..." The Corporal stated.

In truth, the more he thought of it, the more the loss of his vessel disturbed him. He hadn't been with the prayer for very long but it had still been his home. Where was he going after all this, assuming they survived. He looked sadly back to the skies for a moment, to see the streaks of debris still burning in the atmosphere.

Captain Andrew Poole
>UNSC Odyssey
>>Thinking of something

"I would suggest not hitting the structure with a MAC round, just in case. Wouldn't want the Admiral on your case for the next...year or so." Felcia pointed out with a slight laugh. "Sentinels targetted and archers ready to fire." Although the Captain had given word to fire "whenever", she still didn't feel comfortable firing until an actual firing order was given. Crossing artificial arms, she tilted her head to the left at the Pelican pilot that had wandered in, prompting Poole to turn and give the man a similar look.

"You're serious? Looking for the hangar bay? That's not even remotely near here. There are arrows on the floors and walls for a reason, Lieutenant." Poole turned to face forward in his chair again and tapped his fingers on the armrests. Examining the main screen before him, he bit his lip and looked at Felcia. "I gave you permission to fire whenever you wanted."
"It didn't sound like an order to me, sir. Just an...annoyed statement."
"Fine then, fire."

The archers fired as quickly as they could, if you could hear sound in space, you would be deaf in a matter of seconds. Each projectile destroyed multiple guardians, if they were close together. Poole was pleased to know the combat was going their way, it seemed.

Gunnery Sergeant Thomas "Sparks" Cain
Northern Polar Region, Harvest
Moving Off

Tom felt the struts of the Warthog lower slightly as the marine climbed in.

"Okay, y'all. Here's the deal. We're raiding that base up 'ere. I don't know why, or how we're gonna bust in with all these damn sentinels, but we've gotta do it." Tom said to his new partners. "You hold onto something or you'll likely fall off." Tom said to the man sitting under the turret.

Tom slammed the gas to the floor, and the vehicle sped off in a cloud of snow.

"Here we go, fellas! Fire at will!"
Tom yelled, and grabbed the radio receiver once again. "Sergeant Whitmen! Our Warthogs will travel together, and cover each other! We have a better chance of surviving this mess that way!"

((I apologize for my inactivity. I have been REALLY busy these last few days with the first football game coming up on Friday and all))

>> NAME: Hammer, Michael R. | UNSC NAVY O-5
>> Making his way to the Cartographer.

They were roaring over the snow, past rocks, dodging sentinel beams as best they could and shouting down as many of them as possible. The
team in the warthogs, were now coming up to the Cartographer. Sentinels exploded, one warthog exploded as marines jumped out and ran to safety. But the Commander knew he had to get Angel there and finish this. As they got to the entrance, the warthogs kept on going in until they got to the bridges. They stopped and ran over them. Of course Hammer had superior strength, so he easily got ahead of the other marines who gave everything they got defending their Commander. They got over the main bridge to the while being fired upon greatly.

Get me ready!

"Alright!"

He took the chip from out of the back of his head and placed it over the Orb that was still blue, but random symbols were flashing red in a constant sequence of random patterns, even Angel was having a hard time predicting them. As she searched through the system to find the command for stopping the sentinels, Hammer and the marines defended themselves promptly. They seemed to be doing pretty well, until the most unexpected person shouted out in pain.
Hammer fell to the ground, firing the SMG straight at the sentinel that attacked him. He was lower torso was smoking. As he held his side, another sentinel came towards him, it was ready to fire with it suddenly paused in mid air, then just floated away as if nothing had happened. Angel did it, but a little to late for Hammer.

"Marine! Here, grab the chip and get Angel for me." The marine close by took the chip and got Angel. He then walked back over to the injured Commander.

I guess I did it then. But what happened to you?

"A chuck of metal got a lucky shot in. Lets just get back to Alpha and carry on the evac."

He stumbled to his feet and walked proudly back to the passenger seat of a warthog. He would not show weakness, even if the fight was over. He basically fell into the seat of the warthog and got comfortable as possible. As they drove back, he covered up the wound as best he could, considering if he took of the armor, he would freeze to death. Hammer switched on the radio to here cheering of marines. A smile was under that helmet, but a thought came to him. He knew he had to go into cryo.

Sergeant Kio Liengod
ODST Medic
Warthog outside of Alpha

"Light it up!" Kio yelled as he released the small rocket from the chamber of the double barreled M41. It nailed a firing Sentinel directly, causing it, along with 3 surrounding machines, to make a satisfying explosion.
He was just about the blow a few more into oblivion when they stopped following and attacking them. It took his a few moments to realize it was over. Just like that.
"YEAH!" He yelled as loud as he could, already seeing Pelican's dropping through the atmosphere.
And you know what he did with his enemy defeated?

He fired his last rocket into a group of them.

Lieutenant Josh Kartzmark
Naval Pilot
UNSC Odyssey

Josh sighed as he left, angry that he'd made himself look like an even greater fool. He should've just kept his mouth shut. Before he could continue this path of self loathing, he heard the call to release the Pelican's for pick up. He smiled, then began running toward the hanger, now actually noticing the arrows.

After a few minutes of running, he noticed the big doors, then smiled. Running through them, he noticed the Pelican he'd been assigned was still there.
"I know! I know! I'm sorry!" He yelled to some of the officers who'd been wondering where he was, then jumped in. He felt freedom as the Mag Locks released the Pelican, then exited the ship, and headed to the surface below.

After breaking the atmosphere, he found a proper place to land on the outskirts of Alpha Base. His sensors had picked up a decent amount of soldiers, as well as Sentinels that were still floating around. He realized that they must've rerouted the computer.
"Told them not to MAC it." He said to himself under his breath as he waited for soldiers to arrive.

1st Lieutenant Mika Jokinen
ODST CO
In charge of evac

"Get the rest of the wounded." He paused for a moment. "Then let us find all the dead possible and carefully take them over to the LZ." The dead had just as much right as the living to be evacuated, he knew it well. Mika walked around giving orders, but also helped out lifting and doing his equal share of the dirty work. It was now early evening, the sun had just set. What they could see of the sky, was orange on the horizon, which raised to a bluey-purple then to a black. It was a beautiful end to horrible day.
Mika the placed his attention back to the matter at hand, getting this people of this retched half glassed planet to the safer UNSC ships. because most, people were from the Armored Prayer, they needed not be fussed about which Pelicans they got on. All their belonging were in rumble, they had nothing but what they brought down with them.
So some people cleaned and some people got evacuated over night.

> Wesley, Samuel | UNSC Marines O-2 [NPC Pilot]
> Inbound to Harvest

For hours on end, Pelican dropships tore through the atmosphere, both incoming and outgoing from the UNSC Amnesty of God to the planet's surface. Pilots were becoming restless with straining their birds with the forces placed upon the structure during their journey through the stratosphere. Lt. Wesley was no different from the rest of his fellow airborne wingmen. Working triple shifts, compared to what he usually did, and given nothing but some flash-cooked MRE's and a cup of coffee every three trips, the el-tee was at his wits end as his baby, Echo 710, groaned under the pressure of yet another landing on the surface of the ice planet.

Despite his orders from the bridge for 'touch and go' as the pilots liked to call it, Lt. Wesley just received word as another squad of marines loaded into the Pelican that he was to remain planetside for a big pick-up. All he could consider was that they had finished loading the marines that were injured or exhausted and they were going to fetch as many pieces of armament as the weathered dropships could handle. "Roger, Saber 1, wilco on Harvest TDY."

"Don't take it that way Wes, your sarcasm only gets you so far, and no assignment can be called TDY down there."

This elicited some chuckles from the cockpit as Lt. Wesley and his co-pilot, a rookie in all ways but his sense of humor, shared a look of knowing at the disdain they expressed in staying on the surface. Just as a Sergeant walked into the cockpit was when the humor died as he started yelling about something. The wind and biting chills blasting through the heated cockpit shocked the el-tee into slamming a fist on a button on the console in front of him, quickly closing the hatch to the Pelican.

"...Thank you, sir. The boys were whining about the cold."

Gunnery Sergeant Thomas "Sparks" Cain
Alpha Base, Harvest
Dusting Off

Tom, after the fighting was over, promptly returned to Alpha Base. His ears rang loudly from the rockets and the LAAG firing all around him.

Finally stopped in Alpha, he dismounted his vehicle, and bid farewell to his teammates. He knew not whether or not he would see them again, but he knew that they were some of the bravest men and women he had ever known.

He stepped onto the nearest Pelican, and sat down. Finally, he released a long sigh of relief. He had made it out alive.

The Pelican was full of marines, all with their heads down. Some were remembering lost comrades, but most were simply sleeping.

The marine next to him was talking to the next marine down, who's arm was in a splint. As they turned, they paused for a moment.

"Good to see you made it, Sparks" A feminine voice spoke.

Tom turned his head to the voice, and smiled.

Sergeant Scarlet R. Whitmen
Marine Combat Medic
Dust Off

Scarlet stopped the Hog beside Cain's and dashed out of it "Move out boys! Follow me to the Pelican!" she hustled over to a half empty Pelican and sat inside, she checked her burn "Not bad.."she mumbled. She thought about the man she had rescued earlier that day "Whats the location of Captain Stone? Is he off Harvest yet?" she said into the COM hoping to get a quick and nice reply.

Sergeant Kio Liengod
ODST Medic
Getting the hell out of Dodge

Kio exited the Warthog behind Cain, following him into the Pelican. He sat down across from Whitmen, who'd come in and sat down as well. As he sat there, the events of the past couple of hours truly hit him. His home was destroyed. His fellow soldiers might be dead. He was the only ODST in this Pelican, and though the Marines were his allies, he didn't like having no fellow Helljumpers. The images of the Armored Prayer falling into the atmosphere, suddenly threw him over board. Moisture began gently running down his face. He maintained his composure, and allowed no noise to exit his crying face. He was just happy for the opaque visor right now.

Lieutenant Josh Kartzmark
UNSC Pilot
Picking up Soldiers

Josh looked at the rear camera from the cockpit as some Marines entered and sat down. One of the Warthogs was Auto Locked to the Pelican, though the other would have to be left behind. He heard a call over the COM from one of the Marines,
"Affirmative. Captain Stone was one of the first to get pulled up from the surface." He flipped the general com switch, sending a message to all the soldiers in the back.
"This Pelican will be heading to the Odyssey, then you can connect to transports that will send you to your assigned ships.. And... to those of you from the Prayer, they'll have other plans."

Master Gunnery Sargent
Donovan Greensborough
Status: Loading onto a pelican

Don at all disappointed to see the sentinels leave. He was tired, his head hurt like hell, and it was cold. He said nothing however, knowing that everyone was in similar condition at this point, and simply boarded a pelican with available seats. He put his head down, trying to fight the nausea, and offering a brief prayer for those lost when the Armored Prayer went down. The fight was over here, not the fiasco of relocating the remaining personnel would begin.
