Octavio stood outside of the basement door, contemplating whether he should really leave or stay until he knew what was going on. He placed his hand on the doorknob. Suddenly, he heard something from inside. He pressed his ear against the door. Was that the door shutting?

Lucius yelped slightly as he stumbled through the door after following one of the boys he was given charge of. What a fool he was for not being able to walk through a door without tripping over his own two feet.
He opened his eyes and stood, rubbing the palm of his left hand with his right thumb, having scraped it in the fall. As he was dusting off his robed he heard a click behind him. Curiously, he looked over his shoulder to see that the strange door had closed itself behind him. He turned and tried to open the door, but bit his lip when he found it was locked.
He looked around the room slightly fearful of the odd new surroundings.
"Rei? Are you here?" Lucius called out to the boy he could have sworn was only a few seconds ahead of him.
He walked over to the small staircase leading to another door. Figuring the only way to go was up, he climbed the steps and grips the handle. He gulped in uncertainty but pulled the door open.

Suddenly Octavio found the door moving inward. Before he could back off, the door opened and he found himself falling! A split second decision was made. He had fallen on a person, so he wrapped his arms around this person to protect them in the fall.
They hit the ground of the basement with a smack! Octavio's arm took most of the impact...
Two... men... now lay on the floor, one seeming to cuddle the other. Octavio had his eyes squeezed shut.
He lay on top of another man...

Melethia heard a noice and ran to where she thought it came from. She looked around. "Hello?" She said. "Huh.....guess no one is here." She looked around a bit more before leaving.

Lucius yelped rather loudly as another person fell inwards while they tumbled down the small set of stairs.
He groaned a little and winced his eyes open. How was he not harmed from the fall? He felt an arm behind him and blinked.
"A-are you alright, sir?" he made an attempt to converse. He only hoped the other spoke the same language.
The current position he was in did not seem to trouble him; or he had not noticed that his leg was between the others, his thigh resting against an inappropriate area.

Octavio lay there for another moment with his eyes shut. At hearing Lucius's voice, he opened his eyes, relaxing his hold on the man a bit. For a moment, he took in the situation. He lay with his arms around him... He could feel with his own body that this person was most perfectly male... And this man's knee was... it was... there.
His face went crimson. "Aaah... I.. I.." He struggled to pull himself away from him, but there was a problem. His arms were still around him. He pulled his arms out from under the man and scrambled backwards, blushing terribly. "I... I think... Hello! Oct--- Octavio.. Damielle... Sir. I'm so terribly sorry... I just... Ah!" He spotted his hat, which had fallen from his head when he fell on the man. He snatched it up. "Sorry... I had heard a noise... It was you, was it not? I was leaning against the door...." His hand throbbed. It was then that he noticed he had hurt it. "Oh... Look at that... I injured myself." He looked around for his staff, which he had accidentally thrown. He spotted it across the room. "Um..." He said as he got up to move towards it. "What's your name?"

Lucius blushed as he too realized the situation and immediately stood when he was given the chance.
"You can call me L-lucius... I was a servant of House Cornwell, though I currently run a small orphanage. I-it's a pleasure to meet you, uh... Lord Damielle," Lucius composed himself a bit better after introductions were made.
"I suppose I was the one to make any noise in this room since I am apparently the only one in here other than yourself... Is your hand alright? It looks somewhat reddened," he was genuinely concerned for the man considering he had saved him from nearly splitting his head open.

Octavio looked thoughtful as he picked up his staff. "Cornwell, hm? Unfortunately I've never heard of it." A small light came from his staff as he began to heal his hand. "Trust me, my hand is fine." he said, holding it up and moving his fingers.
"I'm a sage, of sorts. So um... Cornwell isn't here, is it. I certainly haven't seen any houses of cornwells while I was here.. And you came through the door. You must be from another world meaning... You're probably very confused."
Octavio put the end of the staff on the ground and leaned on it a bit, thoughtfully. "What's the name of the continent you're from?"

"Another... World?" Lucius furrowed his brow just slightly in confusion.
If he wasn't confused before he certainly was now.
"I am from the continent of Elibe. Is that not where we are now?"

Octavio shook his head. "The name of the town we're in is Eyris. We're in a mansion that belongs to... Come to think of it, I heard someone mention Elibe before. It was... Nino. Have you heard that name?" Octavio looked thoughtful. The truth was, he didn't remember the name of the continent. Uh-oh. Not very good for his explanation.

Meanwhile Melethia made her way into the library. She was a bit surprised to see it was a mess. "What happened here?" She asked herself. Books were everywhere. Some of them were in pieces. She stopped at a book that caught her eyes. She walked her way over to a red book on the floor. It was a fire tome and by the looks of it. It was a Bologonoe tome. "This should come in hand." She said putting the tome in a safe spot on her person. She then started to sniff the air.
"Judging by the smell." She stated, "Whatever happened here happened about a few hours ago. The smells has faded a little bit. One of them seems familiar though. It smells like...Rei was here." She looks around a bit, "I don't see him and I didn't catch his scent until now. Something tells me that the shrimp is somewhere I don't want to be. Then again after what happened 2 months ago I feel like I need to find out what is going on. Who was it that ripped Asami from my body?" She took careful steps deeper into the library.

Lucius perks up a little and smiles some as his eyes widen. He was not alone and Nino was alive!
"Yes! I know her! I thought she was deceased, though... I actually followed her son through that door. She left him in my charge while she was gone," he blinked as he mentioned the reason he had passed through the strange door in the first place.
"Have you seen a young boy about this tall with green hair, by chance?" he was hoping that he could find Rei quickly before he got himself into any sort of trouble.

Break me, shake me, hate me... But when the madness stops, you'll be alone.→τειғι← ◣ ♪ I can't feel nothing at all... ♪ ◥ You've confused me in a way that I've never known... She ate in silence. Though she appreciated the food, and knew well that the man who cooked it worked magic with the ingredients, the dancer saw no need to speak with the guests while she ate, letting her mind do its own work. Under the pretense of gracefully and delicately enjoying her meal, she let her thoughts loose for the few minutes of reprieve she was given before her socially acceptable excuse ran dry- her bowl was empty, and everyone else appeared to have moved off to their rooms.
The sounds that had so perturbed the others earlier sailed by unnoticed past the dancer's ears, so absorbed was she in her thoughts- the images and sounds of smiling, laughing souls was simply too much to be overcome by the sounds of a mere scuffle. After dealing with Misura and Castello's little spats over the years, she found that she could tune out even the harshest noises of combat if she really put her mind to it. Undisturbed by the cacophony, Teifi excused herself from the table and made her way to the stairs, hobbling as she went.
She never thought much of them before- stairs were stairs. Nothing to worry about for a dancer with strong legs and good endurance. However, with the first unconscious step she took onto the first stair, Teifi bit her lip quickly and resisted the urge to shriek when she lifted her foot swiftly again- she remembered her twisted ankle soon enough. Looking up with a scowl, she made her way up the only way she really could- bracing herself against the banister with both hands, she would make every other step with the assistance of her arm strength, rather than actually stepping with her right foot. While yes, her ankle functioned and she could walk fiarly well, it stung viciously whenever she tried climbing upstairs.
Teifi made her way up the stairs after a few minutes, watching with little interest when Isadora turned the wrong way down the hall (Was her little foster son going to get a lover, after all? How glorious!) and moved towards an empty room.
Amelia had already gone to her room, and the redhead had seen the blonde go in of her own accord before moving to the room beside hers. Her feet still ached, and she limped visibly, but she eventually settled on her bed. The wall between her room and Amelia's was thin, but she didn't particularly care, leaning back on the mattress and settling in for what she hoped was a peaceful night. ۞ You just keep me contemplating that your sσuℓ is _slowly_fading... ۞

Octavio blinked. He didn't remember seeing Nino's son, just Nino and some other people. Nino had children? Then again, Octavio wasn't here very long the first time. Perhaps Nino did have a child. "No, actually. I haven't seen any young green haired boys." He thought for a moment. "We should probably get out of here... There's no way I can get you home, unfortunately... I can't really... Take you with me. Restrictions on my powers, actually." So the only thing to do... "We have to go out that door." He points at the door that Lucius had opened earlier, causing Octavio to fall on him.

Lucius sighed quietly in disappointment. That meant Rei was off wandering around alone and possibly getting himself into all sorts of trouble.
He snaps out of his slight trance in thought and blinks over at the door. He bites his lip and nods. He wasn't quite sure about venturing into some unknown area where he could be in danger, but he had to find Rei and get home some how.
"Alright. Please, lead the way. I have no knowledge of where to go."
