O, it is excellent to have a giant's strength, but it is tyrannous to use it like a giant.
He grinned. Being friends with Mika would be nice. He could tell the new friends he would meet here would drive him crazy with the new powers, but it would be worth it to actually have friends.
"By touching?" He repeated, mostly to himself. He reminded himself he would need to not touch others when he was around Mitsukai. The power he normally drew from them would be magnified. He shuddered, it was a horrible thought.
The highest proof of virtue is to possess boundless power without abusing it.

Kyuubi laughed slightly when Jet's hair caught on fire. "Well there's my power for you. Elemental Control." He thought Jet and Mitsukai would get along great having similar powers. He wondered where she was. She had left after Thorne had. He knew she must be trying to cheer him up.

 Seeing Jet shudder Mika couldn't help but chuckle, this new guys was just too amusing. "If you're worried about Mitsukai's powers just wear gloves. That way if you do take on Mitsukai's powers you won't do any damage," Mika grinned. "Don't worry so much about your powers, this school is pretty good in helping you control them. I remember on my first night I phased through my bed and ended up in someone else's dorm room." Looking up at Kyuubi, Mika chuckled a little, "Actually I think it was your room I phased into Kyuubi."

[Sorry guys, I'm leaving tomorrow to go to my sisters. I'm not sure how long I'll be gone, maybe a week. I'll try to get online but no promises.

Kyuubi laughed. "I think you're right." He looked to Jet. "You should have seen me before I learned to control my powers. The most I will say is that a forest is non existent." Kyuubi said rubbing the back of his head, in embarrassment. He didn't want to talk much about that day because his brother had been the one to stop the fire and replant the forest with his powers.
His brother was different than others in his family. So was Kyuubi. His brother could create plant seeds and help them grow quickly. Kyuubi was able to control the leaves from plants. He and his brother would always play like that. Satori would create plants and Kyuubi would make the leaves fly around, and try to make his brother catch them.

Healing, Phasing, Elemental Control. Heh, he was building up quite an arsenal already, just among these few people. Wait, no. He shouldn't be thinking like that. It was all this power. It was going to his head, making him think the wrong things.
He shut his eyes and drew in a long breath, concentrating and clearing his head. He chuckled at Kyuubi's story of burning down a forest, deep down though, the thought scared him. He had learned to control his mom's version of fire manipulation with ease, so maybe Kyuubi's wouldn't go out of control.
He looked at Mika and nodded. "Yeah, I might just have to," He said with a chuckle.

Cassie listened to the conversations, a little putout. She hated to be ignored, but at least she'd met people, right? She muttered, "Going to go get some food." She got up and mulled over her situation as she walked to the cafeteria line. It would feel a little awkward to just burst into their conversation, but she definitely didn't want to be alone all year. it was an easy choice to make. She ordered a slice of pizza and a soda, feeling a little more confident.

Kyuubi watched as the girl got her food. He looked back to Jet and Mika. "I guess I should leave. See you both around the school." He walked towards the door. On the way he past the girl. "I'm sorry that we ignored you earlier. We got caught up talking about our powers."

Seeing Kyuubi walk off, Mika said goodbye to him before letting out a yawn. Looking at the Cafeteria clock, she saw it was getting pretty late. Plus partying all night with her friends was starting to take a toll with her. "Well I'm going to go to bed," Mika stood up as another yawn escaped her mouth. Before walking out she turned to Jet and said goodbye, "If you want, you can eat breakfast with us tomorrow. Just look for the table that has the largest group of upperclassmen sitting together."

He nodded and stood up. It was getting late. He should probably get to bed too. "Thanks," He said as she left. "I'll try to make it." He wasn't sure if he could handle the overload though and would probably skip breakfast.
He headed to his room and plopped onto the bed. All the others' powers were gone and he let out a sigh of relief. He quickly entered sleep.

 JoesphJoseph ate Mitsukai's cake and finished his icecream. He loved Ice Cream sundays. He then looked at the cloack, 10:00. The cafeteria just closed. Well it was time to disapper. "Bye Nikky, happy birthday." He said and walked out. When he got there he found his car and hoped in. H turned on his engine and left.
When he got to the school he parked his car and got out. He walked to his dorm and sat down. He wanted to look over his schedule befor going to sleep. So he looked around his room untill he found the yello piece of paper with the scedule on it. After he read it a few times he figured it was safe to go to bed. So Joesph stripped down to everything except his boxers and went to bed.CoryAfter awhile of working out Cory figured it was getting late. So he walked back to his dorm and instantly took a shower. After awhile of bathing he hoped out, threw a pair of boxers on, and laid down. He thought about everything thats happened, and befor he could help himself, he was thinking about Mitsukai.((i g2g, but will edit later(:]]

Scar tissue that I wish you saw,
Sarcastic mister know it all… Her quiet voice responded to his question. He could hear her guilt as it seemed to embrace her. He shook his head looking back over the valley exposed to him. “You shouldn’t hate or feel guilty about your power,” he said his voice low as Thorne continued avoiding her eyes, but he could feel her discomfort in the soft rustle of her clothing as she shifted uncomfortable with the fact of what he had shown her, that she invaded. “You shouldn’t be sorry about your power. Losing control is part of the journey and so is learning to love it,” he murmured repeating her words from earlier though in a different way, and it seemed that in a moment of peace their roles had been switched. The comforted was now the comforter, and reversed.
“It’s kinda nice in a way…I don’t have to pretend when I’m with you,” he began elaborating on his first statement. “You already know…” he trailed off as his mind traveled back to his problem. It was nice. He didn’t have to explain the problem, or himself. He felt that he could explain it better in silence, as he turned and searched her face desperately as he searched for answers to his complication. He was starting to have so many that the solutions were running together making it harder for him to see the way out. Like a clear river that suddenly turned muddy, Thorne waded through his problems but felt as if he was loosing his footing and couldn’t make it to the other side.
“I don’t know why she haunts me,” Thorne said lowly, “She just does even though it’s been years. I’m sure she moved on. Why can’t I?” Thorne asked Mitsukai almost frantically. He turned so that he stood in front of her. His head lowered so that they were eye to eye hoping that she knew a way out. Needing someone who knew him almost as well as himself to tell him what was wrong, and why he couldn’t move on.
These problems were like invisible scar tissue. Only Mitsukai could see each one and what had caused it. Her power was what was making Thorne depend upon her for that moment as he had never depended on anyone before. He was afraid of this dependency and need. He was frightened of what would happen if he was let down, when he was so vulnerable. Thorne didn’t think he could withstand another let down calmly. He couldn’t think clearly, and he needed a guiding hand. Thorne waited anxiously, once again, searching her face of any signs that would help him. Close your eyes and I'll kiss you 'cause,

Nikky finished up her ice cream and cake. Deciding not to use her powers for once, she got up and tossed her garbage into the trash can. Upon doing so, she realized how late it had gotten, and regretfully remembered that classes started the next day. She turned around and faced the crowd.
Instead of returning to the table she called out to everyone. "Thanks you guys for a wonderful birthday. Now, seeing as school starts back up bright and early tomorrow morning, I have got to get back and get some sleep Love Ya'll. Peace out!" Nikky said cheerfully. She then proceeded to her car, got in, and drove back to the school. Nikky took her presents and hauled them up to her dorm, putting each in its place before collapsing on her bed.

Cadence decided to head back to school on her own. It wasn't that far of a walk away, and plus, it would give her a way to work off some of her emotions. She shrunk her forcefield until it clung to her like a second skin, and made it invisible. That way she didnt have to worry about explaining why the rain didn't touch the ground in a three foot radius surrounding her.
Cadence smiled when she heard the thunder clap. It seemed as if the storm was echoing her inner emotions, and she couldn't help but be pleased. The fresh scent of the cleansed earth was welcomed, and Cadence sighed. Nature was something she could emmerse herself in. It took about twenty minutes to reach the campus, and Cadence walked through the halls, removing her shield, making her way to her room. As soon as the door shut behind her, thats when her tears began to fall.

MitsukaiMitsukai smiled faintly at Thorne, knowing he needed comfort. She wanted to show him that she went through similar stuff he went through. But saying it wouldn’t make her feel good. So she took off her glove and touched him, planning on showing him everything.
Mitsukai’s in her room. Mom comes in crying. "Hun, I have something to tell you." Mitsukai's puzzled. "Yea mom?" She asks. Her mom never cries. "You're dad was in a crash. A bad one, we needa go now." Mitsukai's confused. "Okay." She said and walked with her mom to the car and sat next to her older sister, who’s also crying. They drive to the hospital. Dads in the emergency room, plugged to a ton of stuff. "Can I go talk to him?" Mitsukai ask doctors. "Okay. But not long." Mitsukai walks to the room. "Hey dad." Mitsukai says looking at her dad. "That guy got your pretty bad. But you'll get through this. Jesus won’t let you die." Just when she said that his heart stopped. Mitsukai was rushed out. Then she cries.
Mitsukai and Cory in her room. Cory kissing Mitsukai. "Happy three years." Mitsukai said and kissed him deeper, putting her arms around his neck. She touches his neck, he pulls back. "WHAT DID YOU DO?" Cory asked. Mitsukai starts crying, she seeing everything Cory's ever done, and been through. "I don’t know." She mumbles. "You’re a freak, you did something to me!" Cory said and ran out. Mitsukai's in tears.
Mitsukai in class of her first private school, writing Cory a letter. 'Woot, four years Hun!' She wrote when a girl came to her. "What you writing?" She asked, taking the paper from Mitsukai. "Give it back!" Mitsukai said and tried to grab it, but instead touched her arm. Mitsukai feel to the ground. "What the?" The girl said freaking out! "What did you do to me?" Mitsukai sees all of the girls memories and thoughts.
Mitsukai is at school, meeting Exo. "Hey." Mitsukai said finding immediate attraction. Her and Cory have been over for a year, but yet Exo reminds her of him. Mitsukai's overwhelmed with sadness and rushes off. Goes to the girl bathroom and starts crying her eyes out. She really misses Cory.
After showing a few more memories of her missing Cory or people calling her a freak because of her power, she showed her finally moving on. Good memories with Kyuubi and stuff like that, her being happy. 'Some things take time.' Mitsukai thought to him. She looked at him face. 'Me and Cory dated for 4 and a half years and I didn’t get over him until the end of last year, two years after we broke up. Some people are so important you don’t know how to let go. But time heals all wounds. And different people help. I probably would have never gotten over Cory if it wasn’t for Kyuubi.' Mitsukai thought to Thorne. She looked in his eyes, not wanting him to be sad.

Vincent walked through a portal. His parents just finished giving him a lecture about behaving at this school. 'They made me miss the first day' He sighed. He was happy about one thing though. Kyuubi was here. He always wanted Kyuubi to train him but he could never ask, his parents would not let him. He decided to go to the room he had been assigned. He was glad he had received his schedule and dorm number. He walked around the school looking for his dorm. He had no clue where it was.
