Nathan blinked at him. "Y-you sure? I can go home - it'll only make me another half hour late afterall, and if I don't go home first then I have to come back here for the dirty washing I leave behind..."
He paused, bit his lip, and asked in a very small voice, "Do you want me to come back, ever?"

Mao reached into his pocket and tossed him a key. "You can do whatever the hell you want. I'm not going to work until tomorrow, so if you do come back make sure you come in quietly."

Nathan was too stunned to catch the key, and it fell through his fingers easily with a clatter as it hit the floor.
"Y-you gave me... a key?" he whispered, eyes wide.
Then he gave a small, strangled 'woop', flying - though not literally - at Mao to give him a hug.
"Thank you!" He grabbed the demon into a hug, beaming before kissing his cheek.

Mao pushed him away, though it was all too obvious it was not with any bad intention. "Just go already."

((We need to talk about what we're going to plan for this rp - and 'cause of Mao's surly nature, I somehow thought he was the seme xD
Though I'm fine with Nathan being the seme!))
The Angel's smile could not be contained and he let go of Mao only long enough to scoop up the key. Once he held it tightly in his hand, his arms came around Mao again, lips heading to the Demon's ear.
"Thank you... and I won't come 'round if I think you're sleeping, even though you do make the most delicious get-well-soon soup!" he whispered, mouth hovering at the Demon's earlobe as though he were considering nibbling on it.
But he pulled his mouth away with a wink and the genuine, ecstatic smile still on his face.

Nathan gave a heavy sigh. "Alright, Mr. Grumpy, I'll leave you alone. Not even a good-bye kiss, no sir!"
The Angel shook his head sadly and spun on his heel to head for the door. Of course, he'd forgotten he was only wearing a bathrobe...

Nathan spun around to face Mao, hands on hips. "Why? Not as if you care what I look like, or that the whole world might get to see my every pore due to the wind's tossing this material aside!"
His eye narrowed and he poked his head around the door. "Of course, it's not as though you'd be jealous if they did - you're not even sure you like me-!"

Nathan stuck out his tongue. "Just because you don't want to see me naked, doesn't mean no-one else will enjoy the view!" He taunted, spinning back towards the door and making loud stomping noises as though he was leaving.
Then, a moment later, he dashed to Mao to spin him 'round and plant a kiss onto his lips.

Mao simply stood there. He did not push him away, nor did he hint to wanting any more of Nathan's affection. He thought that Nathan seemed to be acting a bit childish. It certainly was far different from the attitude he had the previous day.

Nathan shook his head, moved away, and then proceeded to the door. "Have a good day!" he called, sounding sullen as he rounded the corner, thumps sounding as he fell over - he'd attempted to dress whilst walking, and bumped his head for his efforts.
Once presentable, he hung the borrowed bathrobe on Mao's front door handle then left - he shut the door quietly despite wanting to slam it.
Once he neared his home, he spotted Davyn waiting for something across the street. Despite his grumpy mood, he waved as he didn't want to be mean when no-one deserved it - though he couldn't quite manage a smile...

Mao took a while to clean up, then sat alone in the livingroom for a while. Not being able to take the boredom that quickly fell over him, he decided to get dressed and go to work after all. He knew that if he walked or took the bus he would be late and the head nurse wouldn't let him anywhere near the hospital. Instead, he used his magic to teleport there without being spotted.

Nathan had walked to work with Davyn, unable to avoid him since the man claimed to have been stood up and as such could walk to work with the Angel.
He'd been as polite as he could, then avoided the irritant as he worked - he didn't want to deal with people beyond taking orders for the moment, and Davyn was seriously pushing it.
The moment he could, he went to the hospital with the thought of cooling down and regaining the ability to smile. He greeted the nurses, forcing a smile until he spotted a small face beaming at him.
With a final word to the nurses, he headed for the children as a genuine smile finally appeared on his face.
