Noticing Kittie had hardly touched her food, he graciously starts offering her some of the food on his plate. He had a lost expression on his face as he attempted to give her food. "Hmm..." He thought for a moment, a sinister grin on his face as his eyes shifted from Kittie over to Suzaku sitting in the corner.
"Smile!! You'll live longer." He blurted out before throwing a piece of bread at her. Without even looking up from her own food, she caught the flying roll, and was quick to devour it. Between mouthfulls of food, she managed to mumble out "Act you're age..." Tsurui just glared at his sister and returned his focus on Kittie. He didn't have much of an appetite left, so he just sighed happily and sat closer to her, leaning his head onto her shoulder.

She smiles as she accepts bits of his food then lets out a musical laugh as a piece of bread goes flying at his sister.
As Tsurui leans his head upon her she turns to look at him with a loving smile. Resting her head on his, she takes his hand in hers, intertwining their fingers, and rests her other hand atop their clasped hands.
Sensing a familiar and much loved presence at the door, she lifts her head to turn and face a rather large, black panther with lightning blue eyes to match her own. He stalks towards the two of them and stops within arms reach. With a grin, she reaches out the hand that had rested on her love's and pets her long time companion. "Hello, Sapphire," she says, eyes shining with amusement and joy as she strokes his silky soft coat and smiles. As they look at one another, their eyes dance and sparkle, the blue seeming to strike like lightning though the colors do not shift in their orbs.

Tsurui watched as the large panther strolled into the bar. You'd think an animal that size wandering about, would draw in some attention, but no one currently in the bar even raised their heads to look. He just smiled and had his hand outstretched to the animal. Tsurui was an odd death jester, never having a bit of remorse for humans, or demons alike...but had an affinity for animals big and small.
"You know each other i take it?" He asked curiously, his eyes examing the large cat. Suzaku on the other hand had disappeared, having a long standing fear of large cats, she had run upstairs with her food, and could be hear above them scampering about.

Smiling, eyes still on her beloved pet, she nods in affirmation. "We've been together for quite a while, haven't we, darling?" she asks of Sapphire.
Sapphire simply grins wide, showing a full set of very sharp two and three inch long teeth. Turning his attention to Tsurui, he looks at him with a bit of distrust. He never trusted anyone new from the start no matter how much he trusted Kittie and her judgement of people. He always held first doubts but usually caved in to holding a judgement that matched her own.
She simply smiled all the more, understanding his reaction and not minding it one bit. Sapphire tried never to judged another by a friend or stranger's word or any implications that may be made by association. She respected this part ofhim though wrapped her arms tightly about one of Tsurui's, as if to say to the black beast, "You needn't take too long in judging."
With a tired look in his eyes, as though his friend had tried to rush his judgements before, he simply sat politely and allowed Tsurui's hand to come near him, watching the jester and smelling the scent of blood that clung to so many parts of his clothes.

Nevously, he held his hand before the giant animal. Even with his affinity for animals, there was nothing stopping them from attacking him. He knew that the panther could smell the death that loomed over so much of him, but Tsurui hoped that he would not be judged solely on this.
"He's not gonna like, bite my hand off if he doesn't like me. Will he? Cause i'ld like to keep this one if you don't mind." He said in a sarcastic tone. He looked down at Kittie, who was firmly latched onto his arm and couldn't help but smile, any nervousness he'd had in him had been alleviated. "Hehe, i had an animal following me around before, it was a small bat named Shade. I had to shoo him away though when he started trying to suck the blood out of my clothes."

With amusement and a touch of pity in her eyes, she watches Tsurui's nervousness as he reaches out to her friend. In a warm and reassuring tone she tells him, "Sapphire doesn't bite people just because he doesn't like them. He only bites when he doesn't like something they've done. If he doesn't like you, he'll let you know, but it won't be in any appendage threatening ways. I'm sure he'll grow to like you soon though." She turns to face Sapphire with a look in her eyes that said she was not meant to be crossed in this matter.
Sapphire seemed to shrink where he sat, though only in such a way that she would notice. To all else, his eyes seemed to hold a continued indifference to Tsurui though he relented to nudge the jester's hand with his wet nose, not wishing to create too imposing a persona.
She smiled and giggled, her bell-like laughter coming soft and sweet upon hearing of the bat that wished to take the blood from Tsurui's clothes, the smile for Sapphire's bit of yielding.

Tsurui could feel the wet nose of Sapphire on his free hand, and with a smile patted him on the head. With a smile he relaxed a bit more, but seemed to pull Kittie closer to him, as if vying for her attention. So much so did he seem like a lost puppy at times. Even as he sat together with his love, and a very imposing looking panther, he couldn't help but feel most at peace than at this point.
Without so much as a word, even with Sapphire watching, he smiled and gently kissed Kittie. He was quick to pull away, not wanting to irritated the panther. He looked over to his plate of food, and with a smile offered it to Sapphire. "heh, i'm kinda full, is it okay to give this to him?" He asked curiously, his plate held in his free hand.

Watching Tsurui's affection towards his friend, Sapphire smiles softly, his panther smile exuding a feel of approval. His eyes danced with amusement the way Kittie's did as he watched Tsurui quickly draw away from his friend and noticing the reason why. As expected, he grinned his panther grin as he watched his friend draw her lover back to embrace him and return the kiss with a rather extended version to make up for the shortness of the last.
She smiled, seeing the approval of her friend and his smile. Without even having to look, she knew he was grinning at the sight of her actions. It wasn't difficult for either of them to know reactions such as that without actually seeing. Drawing away from Tsurui she watched as he tried to offer food to her friend. Her eyes reflected the amusement that had shone in Sapphire's as she replies, "Ah, Sapphire likes to catch his own food. I'm sure he's eaten something by now." Petting her friend she fondly asks of him, "Haven't you, love?"
Sapphire merely grins and snaps his jaws open and shut within a second to answer her question.

A quiet murmur could be heard from the stair well around the corner from where Tsurui was sitting. Suzaku peeked around the corner ever mindful of the large cat seated next to her brother at the bar. "Psst, psst!! Paranoia!! get you're butt over here, now!!" Paranoia was across the room, but could hear his sister clearnly enough. Lathargically, he got up and strolled over to her. "Okay Paranoia, see that cat, you think you could get rid of it for me?" Paranoia just looked over at the large Panther, and shook his head. Even though he was wearing a mask, his emotions were quite clear upon hearing her request. Suzaku just whimpered and stayed by the stairs, trying her best to keep an eye on Tsurui and hide from the menacing Panther. Paranoia just shook his head and sat back down across the room.
As the two sat together at the bar, another sound could be heard above them, within the rafters of the ceiling. Like a bat out of hell...came a bat out of hell. The wayward bat fluttered about the room, wildly, trying to find a place to lan, upon seeing Tsurui, the bats target became clear. A rather large voice came out from its tiny body, as it swooped in. "BOSS!! I missed you!!" Before he could even respond the tiny bat was latched onto its supposed 'masters' face.
"Get him off me!! Get him off!!" He squirmed amd moved about but nothing would dislodge the bat from his face. Giving up, Tsurui sat calmly waiting for him to finish. "Hiiii Shade..." He had a touch of resentment in his voice as he spoke his name. "Good to see you again little buddy...." He grit his teeth, as Shade's claws dug ever deeper into the Jesters flesh and cloth.

Noticing the flittering sound above them, she turns her head to see a little hell bat swoop down at her love's face. As she did so she couldn't help but wonder if this was the little fellow he had spoken of just a little while ago. Tsurui soon confirmed her suspicions and she smiled with a touch of humor and resentment, humor at the sight of such a little creature attaching itself to Tsurui's face and resentment at the fact that it was on his face to begin with.
Letting out a breath of magic, she twines it about her fingers and manages to nudge her fingers between the bat and Tsurui's faces. The bit of magic causes the bat to sneeze and release his hold on his named master. Able to see Tsurui's face again, she smiles and pulls the bat away, holding Shade up to her face, a hand holding each of his wings. With a look of interest, she inspects the little creature and looks curiously at Tsurui.

Usukie smiles at all the fun around her. she's happy to see the bar so lively. she goes through the counters exit and walks over to were her human friend is sitting drinking his whisky.
"so, has anyone botherd you old man?"

Shade squirmed and fidgeted as she held his wings, his blood red eyes gleaming in the dim light of the bar. "Hey, come on lady. Lemme go!" The the little bat squeaked out in protest, but no matter how he squirmed, he couldn't release her hold. "Hmph, you're not nice. I was just saying hi to my master, that's all." He had a sad little gleam in his eyes as he looked out at Kittie.
"Don't fall for it. The moment you let him go, he'll go straight for my face again." Tsurui, had his back turned from Kittie, his hand covering half his face. It seems as though Shade had ripped off part of Tsurui's mask in the process. He turned to look at his love, his mask half falling off. All the could be seen was one bright blue eye staring out at Kittie. The expression seen in that one eye, was that of great saddness. Leaning in he gently kissed Kittie's forehead and whispered softly into her ear. "I'll be back in a bit, just please. For the love of god, keep Shade busy." He said with a sincere smile and calmly walked upstairs, one hand still covering the ripped portion of his mask.
Shade looked over at Tsurui as he walked up the stairs, his anxiousness growing. "Come on lady, please lemme go?" He squeaked out, a semi sad tone in his voice. Shade just like his master was quite tricky, he knew how to manipulate people, so he'd almost always get his own way. Only those who are familiar with Tsurui's personality can see through Shade's otherwise cute and fuzzy facade.

She didn't fall for Shade's act one little bit. In fact, she bonked him on his head and smiled at him sweetly as she told him, "Oh, I'm not nice? What's all this business of flying into my love's face now and damaging it without concern?" Her smile grows a bit dark as her fangs begin to show and her eyes dance with sadistic glee. This was a side she seldom showed to others, but to this creature that had brought such a sad look into the eye of her lover she only grinned with malevolent amusement.
In answer to his pleadings for release, she simply smiles wide. Her sharp fangs gleaming in the light of the bar and her lips come together as a soft but harsh, "No," passes through them.
Folding her legs beneath her, she carefully folds the bat's wings so she can hold him in a firm, but not too tight, fisthold. Looking down into the creature's eyes, her own continue to reflect their malevolent glee then swiftly change to a look as sweet and pleasant as the image of a cat resting on the lap of its owner on a warm Spring day. In this fashion she awaits her love's return.

Shade gave up squirming, and sat patiently waiting for his masters return. He sniffed the air around him as he sat in her hold. "Ooooh. So that smell of blood came from you too. You smell like master, he must really like you if he allowed his blood on you." Upon seeing her razor sharp fangs, only encouraged him to continue. "Hehe, you're interesting. You look all sweet, but...you have a much darker side. Hehe, one almost stained in blood." He squeaked out, his own eyes meeting hers.
Tsurui was upstairs sitting with Suzaku, as she repaired his mask. "Hrm, Tsurui you have to be more careful. You can't let anyone see you're face. You know that." The material that made up the clothing of the Death Jester was special, only another jesters blood could mend it, and only a demon could pierce through it. "I-I know...i dunno, i sort of want to show her my face. I mean - -" Before he could even finish Suzaku locked eyes with him, her expression as serious as ever. "Tsurui, think long and hard before you EVER show her you're face." He smiled and nodded compliantly. Once his mask was properly mended, he took his leave of Suzaku and headed back downstairs.
Like so many times before, his eyes searched out Kittie, as she sat with Shade in her hands. Instead of sitting down, next to her. He walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her, embracing her in a hug. "So! Miss me?" he said with a laugh. Shade's expression immediatly brightened upon his masters return. "Master!!" The little bat squeaked in glee. "Hehe, hey master. She smells like your blood, you must REEEALLLLY love her.." Tsurui's eyes went wide upon hearing those words, his embarassment could be seen even through his mask.
