"My daughter..." She joked, her lips formed like a cat's. She wanted to test him for some reason. She placed her hand on Hikaru's shoulder then patted it gently. She waited for his expression.

Haseo's eyes widened. He seemed to lose the ability to breathe when he looked down at the child again. Hikaru looked up at him innocently, playing in on her captain's joke. He frowned, and after a few moments, slowly recovered from the shock. Hesitantly, he went down on one knee, reaching eye level with her. Hikaru remained silent.
"How old is she?" he murmured softly. He swept some of her bangs away from her brilliant eyes. "Better yet... what's her name?"

Akino chuckled softly, she tilted her head as her eyes softened sweetly. "Well, here's the dig. What will you name our child if it's a girl?" She joked, kneeling down to be at their level. "It's not my daughter silly, but would it be wonderful to have one?" She giggled playfully. "If you stare at her eyes carefully, you will know who this person is." She said softly, pressing her soft and rosy cheeks against Hikaru's gently.

Haseo looked up at her, his expression weary and a tinge tired. He felt relieved that he was still her first and only love, but he couldn't find an explanation as to how the child before him was his sister. He smiled softly at her, rubbing his thumb on her cheek while he thought.
"That's a tough question..." he said softly. "Besides, I always believed that my first child would be a boy. I never actually thought of a girl before..."

"Well may it be a boy or a girl, how about twins?" She pondered off, letting her imagination run wild. She giggled softly then sighed. "So any idea who this pretty young girl is?" She grinned, along with the Hikaru.

Haseo smiled softly at the idea, sub-consciously stroking the young girl's black hair. His topaz eyes wandered to the ground, growing softer. "Twins... double the blessing," he murmured softly. Hikaru tilted her head off to the side innocently, smiling sweetly. Haseo looked up at her, the corner of his lip twitching into a gentle grin.
"Hikaru, right?" he asked, his voice audibly softer while he spoke to the younger girl. Hikaru smile grew bigger, and she nodded enthusiastically. Haseo's grin grew a little. "You can turn people into small little plushie-like things, and now you can turn yourself into a child?"
"It's one of my many talents," she replied, her voice childish and sweet. "I don't even know fully what I'm capable of. But anyways..." Hikaru smiled widely, pointing her finger up while she voiced her opinion. "If you get twins, one boy, one girl, then you should name them Hikaru and Natsuki!" Haseo cocked a brow.
"You'd want us to name our children after you? That doesn't seem really original... seeing as though there will always be only one Hikaru Natsuki Koushun. It wouldn't be so special if there are two other people who steal your name." Hikaru blinked, realizing what he pointed out was true.
"Ah... then forget about it," she drawled, kicking at the ground.

Akino chuckled then hugged Hikaru, pressing her cheeks gently against the child. "Ahh- That's so true." She nodded in agreement. "How bout Kouyuki and Shunkaji?" She suggested, lifting a finger in midair.

Haseo looked up at her from lowered eyelids, his lips forming a thoughtful smile. "It's funny... how we're naming children when we're not even engaged," he pointed out. Hikaru pursed her lip, wrapping her arms around the older woman. Because of her lack in size, her arms only reached to the back of her elbows.
"Kouyuki and Shunkaji... Yuki and Shun~!" she piped, happy with the names her captain picked. She looked up at her brother eagerly. "They're perfect, ne? Ne??" Haseo smiled gingerly, scratching the back of his neck sheepishly. He nodded slowly, glancing at Kuroi slightly from over his shoulder.
"They're beautiful," he agreed softly. Hikaru smiled approvingly. "And since you had a twin, the odds of having twins are greater..." Hikaru giggled cutely, releasing Akino and running up to Kuroi. She hugged his waist, ignoring the increased height difference between them.
"Taichou and Nii-Nii are already counting the chickens before the eggs are even conceived...!!" she laughed, closing her eyes while she spoke.

can you blame them Hikaru? enthusiasm is not wasted in this instance after all." Kuroi noted, blushing a bit as Hikaru hugged his waist." they have every right to be excited, I suppose."

"Ahh-" Akino blushed, then rubbed her temples gently as she laughed nervously. Her eyes seem to wander off. "You think?" Her eyes glimmered as her smile grew. "I just got the Kou and Shun from your surname." She explained, nodding her head. "Really?" She blinked innocently at him. "That would be great!" She exclaimed, clapping her hand cheerfully.
"Ah- That reminds me." She snapped out then stood up, running to the kitchen. After a while she went out, wearing now her usual shinigami robes. "There, better." She sighed in relief, as she fixed her sleeveless kosode. "It's about time for me to wear proper clothes."

Haseo laughed softly, shifting from kneeling on one leg to sitting down with his legs crossed. He looked up at her with an amused look, his cheek resting on the back of his hand. "That's creative," he mused, "so my children together will be Koushun... 'light speed'." He smirked his familiar, handsome grin, as he tilted his head slightly to move some bangs away from his eyes.
"Hee hee! Nee-chan and Nii-Nii are gonna get ma~rried~!" she sang, hugging Kuroi tighter. Haseo coughed, his cheeks slightly flustering. "Wait, wait, nee-chan! Lemme change too!!" she called out, releasing Kuroi to follow after her captain. Haseo watched after them warily, before glancing back at Kuroi, his expression indecisive.
"I'm really not sure if I'm ready for this..." he mumbled, his brow furrowing slightly. "What do you think I should do? I'm... kind of afraid of messing up." He stopped himself when Akino came back with Hikaru behind her, who was back to her normal height and age. He sighed softly, getting up and smiling weakly. "Still as beautiful as ever," he murmured, kissing Akino on the forehead. He found it to be a habit now.

Akino smiled warmly as he kissed her forehead. She then wore the necklace that Haseo gave to her, she took it from Hikaru while they were changing. Akino chuckled softly then hugged Haseo's arm, leaning her head on it. "Likewise with you, dear." She said sweetly, her warm orange orbs softened.

Haseo smiled softly, glancing down at her. He rested his cheek on her head, scratching his cheek when he noticed that she was wearing the necklace he gave her. "Hmm... so I'm handsome even in these old rags?" he joked, motioning to the shinigami robes he wore. "Maybe I should visit the world of the living... maybe they'd have something fancy like your dress."
"Ne? Nii-Nii, you can use the Demon Eye, and poof! You can have a dress like Aki-neechan!!" Haseo's brow twitched. He coughed, his brow furrowed at her idea.
"I didn't mean a dress, Hikaru," he mumbled, "I meant something more... masculine..."

Akino laughed. "Nice one Hikaru." Wiping a tear from her eye, she grinned. "Sure we can visit the Transient World, once all work is done." She nodded in assurement.
