As daylight broke into the air, Ryu walked into the Headmaster's office and took a seat. He contemplated on how he should give the announcement. He knew no one would like the idea of being on lock down but it was the only way to guarantee anyone's safety. He sat there for a moment trying to decide on the words.
Nite kept faced the wall as he heard Maya's words. It made him mad that she knew about Lite. "Don't say her name again." He said as he claws emerged from his fingers tips. He dragged them down the wall causing a loud screech. "Just keep your nose in your own business."

Maya understood his pain and anger and nodded " fair enough its not my business. Stroud told me, so that I would better understand why you were so mean, and closed off, almost unfeeling. Nite, do you know how I became a vampire?" Maya asked simply.

Nite stared at the wall. "You were bitten. Isn't that how most people become vampires?". He said "At least you were human once or a least still in a way." He placed his head on the wall. He still felt a tinge of aggravation about Maya's mention of Lite but he kept his cool.

Maya nodded " yes, I was bitten. Nearly killed actually, he changed his mind at the last second. He decided I was too hot to pass up, I was a trophy to him. I was a sign of the power he held, and in a week he feel became the coolest vampire among his friends. He was my boyfriend, Andrew. And I loved him with all of my heart. And he only kept me around for my blood and after I was turned for power and prestige among his friends. I wanted to leave him after I was turned but he would whisper something sweet and tell me he loved me and when I stayed. He would treat me like garbage. When I got up the courage to leave he found me again. It took everything I had to leave him that night. And since then all think about his how I was used and how to the one person that mattered to me, I was a blood bank nothing more. I know what its like to feel broken, like you can never recover but you will. And I know its hard so I promise you, I will never mention your experience again. I just wanted to let you know I won't bother you anymore. I know what its like to hate yourself. And you can be human too, true your a demon but the way you act does wonders. Ryu didn't even know I was vampire until I told him."

Nite scoffed. "Yeah whatever. Then again Ryu will think anyone's human if they're polite. The guy's a gullible fool." He said as he slumped down on the wall. His stomach groaned lowly. He punched it and frowned. "Shut up, you." He said.
Ryu took hold of the intercom and began his announcement. "ATTENTION! All students of Yamato Academy. We are going to be put in lock down for a few days. This is not a drill. Under serious circumstances, you are encouraged to stay in your dorms. All Twilight students, including Hunters, must stay in there dorms. This goes for Day students as well. Hunters will circulate regularly. If a threat is found, it is to be handled appropriately and directly. When night comes about all dorms will be locked. Any student found outside their dorms at night will be put disciplined. Eating times will be cycle for both Day and Twilight students during the day. Students who are light sensitive will be able to have meals in there dorms. You will be alerted immediately when the lock down is over. That is all." As he flicked the intercom off he fell back into his father's chair. It seemed like a pretty viable announcement but it was only a matter of time before the Headhunters would come barging in and gripe about the announcement. The door to the office then flung open. "Alright let's hear it." Ryu said as people filled the room.

Maya felt a twinge of hunger as her eyes turned red. But she pushed it back and they became their normal blue. Maya broke into a grin "you talk to your stomach?" Maya asked thoroughly amused. She heard the announcement and groaned. " I don't even get to leave to eat. I'm gonna have to sit here and feed in front of a person!" Maya said letting her inadequacies be known to Nite. She didn't care anymore, when around people she tried to be as human as possible, except of course her gifts. maya quickly remembered Ryu and took out her phone quickly texting his number.
Hey Ryu! Look I don't know if you noticed but I left your room. If this little girl keeps starving me you can't be around. And I can't keep you out of your own room so I am with Nite. I know he can be a jerk, but in the long run its safer. And he's not so bad if you get to know him. Just....hurt. I think we're more alike than I initially thaught. First, I got him to open up a little and be kinda nice. Next step find out why he hates you so much. Wish me Luck. I will be rooting for you, don't forget no matter what your special. At least you are to me.

As the complaints splattered the air, Ryu felt his cell vibrate. As he reached for it a Hunter smacked the desk. Ryu frowned. The message could wait. He then began to explain the situation which really didn't help since no one actually believed he was left in charge. Ryu rolled his eyes. He wished his father was back already. When he gets back, Ryu was going to give him a piece of his mind. Especially since he left without a notice to anyone but him.
Nite shook his head and placed his hand on his knee. "What alerting your sweetheart of your whereabouts?" He said as he rolled his eyes. "Idoubt he'll get a chance to read it. I bet he is getting the argument of his life right now. He'll be lucky if total anarchy doesn't break out.I take that back. That sounds like fun." He snickered.

Maya smirked " he isn't my sweetheart and he can handle it. He is much more capable than you give him credit for." Maya said as she opened the window and watched the deserted campus.

Nite walks over and pulls Maya back into the room away from the window. He shuts the window and locks it. "Oh yeah? Well if you were to hang outside the window a little bit longer you would have been burnt to a crisp. How would you like that?" He said as he pulled down the curtains. He then caught himself a moment. "Not that I cared that you burned up or anything." He looked around then he sat on his bed with his arms crossed.

Maya laughed " oh do you actually care about me Nite?" Maya smiled as she sat next to him. " Look, its okay to be normal. You don't have to be totally unfeeling. I'm not saying people won't hurt you occasionally. But you can get through it. Your strong but you use the strength you have to make you an a*****e." Maya said simply.

Nite rolled his eyes. "Tch whatever." He said. He felt his stomach gurgle then he heard a knock a the door. Nite opened it with his shadow. It was the Hunter's delivering the food to the dorm. The handed Maya two pints almost like they knew she was there and then they left without a word. Nite laid back on his bed.
Stroud awoke in a dark place. She tried to move but she found herself tied up. She struggle but she was weak from hunger. "H-hello? Is anyone there?" She said as she struggled on her restraints.
"Don't struggle, Miss." A little voice said. "You don't want Mr. Fang to get angry. He doesn't like when people struggle to get away from me." Stroud trembled as she nervously looked around where she could but she saw no one.

Maya looked at the bags and scrunched her nose. " I have to drink that now don't I?" Maya said as she thaught of having to drink that in front of anyone, she hated it.

Nite rolled his eyes and disappeared into the shadows while Maya was distracted with her flaws.
After dealing with the complaints the Hunter council and a few students, Ryu locked his father's office. He sat down on the bench next to it. He looks at his watch. A quarter past noon. Better make preparations." He gets up and heads out of the main building. He walks towards the Day dorms.

Maya looked around curiously as Nite disappeared. Maya took the opportunity to quickly eat and clean up including a shower and washing her hair and body. She got out and dressed putting her hair in a towel and washing the access blood off her face. She threw the bags into the garbage and hid them underneath other things and brushed her teeth to get rid of the smell of blood on her breath.
