lil_skyangel ((The moment I read "He's fighting smart", a quote from Romeo and Juliet cam to mind =.="
"He rests his minim rests, one... two... and the third in your bosom..." (Mercutio Act 2, Scene 5, from memory...)
Yes, exams have addled my brain... And to whoever runs this guild, the welcoming note says "Sore looser" instead of "Sore loser"... Just FYI))
Violet moved further behind Firalina, her eyes never leaving the battle as she frowned in both annoyance and concentration. In hand was a stick she'd picked up without actually realising it. She waited, ready to dart forward the moment the tell tale light emanating from Raziel's 'sword', indicating his retreat ((in hopes that such a thing does occur)).
((I can't really go further because I'm not sure if Raziel will actually hit Firalina, and if so, where... Sorry ><" )) OOOC; Whoops, coulda sworn I'd posted already....I blame the reunion guild ninja Aaaanywho...back to the Rp The biting cold ripped into Firalina's side evealing more than nyone wanted to see of the Beast's internal organs, and her roar of pain was painful, shattering the eardrums of her opponants with it's severe volume. While Auron's reagan restored their hearing a few moments later, there was still a muddled sensation to their heads, and blood ran stickly out of their ears. Firalina herself was reeling from the latst ttack but was recuperating at a slower pace than they. Te ice blast had been the most damaging of any prior ones by far.Andrea winced and covered her ears, losing her sense of balance with her inner ears ruptured. While she regained them a moment later, she still felt shaken and realzed that Auron's healing spell had run its course. She'd have to be even more careful from here on out.OOC: Reagan only lasts a few times if memory serves me right. And while Andrea's has run out because she's been attacked too many times, Violet still can recover from one more. The spell has to wear out completely before it can be recast. Of course I could be mistaken, and I'm not sure if that was exactly how it worked in FFX, but that was how it went in FF7, you could fully heal from two attacks, but after the next you needed to cast the spell again.

Her hands automatically clamped themselves around her ears as she staggered backwards, shocked and wincing in pain. She fell into a sitting position on the ground, finding herself unable to hear a thing. Feeling something slide stickily (( is that a word? o.O ^^;; )) down her face, she wiped it away with the back of her hand only to see red. Eyes narrowed. Well this was rather wonderful. Without her hearing, she'd be in trouble when she returned home. If she returned home.
Mentally snarling and cursing, she got up, leaping at Firalina with a new sense of veangance, not noticing her hearing was returning ever so steadily to her (( Because no one's actually mentioned how long it'll take ><" ))

((I think you're remembering wrong, in FF7 regen constantly refilled your hit points but simply didn't last that long, and recasting it before it was over renewed it, the more damage you take simply meant that it had to heal more, and if you took enough you could still be KO'd if the regen couldn't keep up with it. In FF10 it worked a little differently, basically after a certain ammount of battle time had passed each person effected was healed a certain ammount. So if a person is hurt they will slowly heal, and if they aren't hurt they will simply stay healed, until the spell runs off. And since Auron just renewed it on everyone but himself, his is the only one that is about to wear out, and Andrea might be still hurting since she's been taking more damage than anyone else.))
Pressing his advantage, since he was the only one unphased by Firi's ear splitting roar Raziel landed and stretched one hand towards the beast. His blazing sword rippled as his telekinetic blast raced down the length and flew off in a ball of ice and bone chilling cold to impact against the creature's body only a few yards away. Then he brought his hands together again, and dashed forwards swinging underhanded in a powerful stroke which could send the hyenoid flying if he hit solidly.
Raziel seemed to be doing a good job in his fury, though Auron wondered if his rage might not be the best thing to use against the 'beast of fury' herself. Though his frigid attacks seemed to be having good effect. Auron kept his distance hoping Firlina would not try to take advantage of his weakening defensive enchantments as he began casting an offensive spell, following Raziel's example. He was intterrupted by the beast of fire's roar clasping his hands over his ears then shaking his head to clear it. his regen had enough time left to heal that wound but he had another thought and began channeling another spell which could prevent such an attack from working again... 'Silence!'
Somewhere in Drakotopia castle a pair of dark eyes opened in the shadows, their sight saw things which others didn't and through the many layers of stone walls he perceived the approach of one person he'd been searching for, for a long time, and another who seemed strangely familiar, and would definately be worth investigating further. With some twisted words in a language alien even to a planet who's people were enchanted to understand all languages, he mainpulated the strands of fate so the two would soon arrive whether it was their intention or not, and they would find that they would be unable to leave without a fierce show of willpower, before he was ready. As an extra precaution he errected a one way force field capable of withstanding the destruction of the planet itself so no one could leave the area. It was the most blatant thing he'd done in a long time, but he felt the stakes were worth it in this case, he would leave the rest to others...

OOC: *shrug* It's been awhile since I played anything.
The telekinetic cold attack hit the Beast in the spine right before her hind legs barreling her over, but by the time his sword came to hit her again, se dispersed into a plume of flame solidifying again behind her Vampiric opponant. As Auron had guessed, The Beast of Fury was indeed fueling off of the rage and frustration pouring out of her opponants, Raziel most strongly, Andrea's frustration next, with the barest tinge of Violet's dissappointment in her own inability to contribute much to the attack.
"Stop trying to hit her and just hold her in place!!!" The Kaijin girl reprimanded as Firalina again used her teleportation to repair the damage done to her. She wouldn't call herself anywhere near tired, but Andrea was getting a little short of breath, whereas the Beast just kept coming, good as new. She chewed her lip in frustration, knowing that if her plan to blast the Beast worked it wouldn't destroy her, and she began to have a sneaking suspicion that in doing so, the Beast would just return unharmed the way she had already done on at least three occasions.

((REUNION!! REUNION!!! It stole my SOUL!!!! crying crying ....it was/is alot of fun tho, and they REALLY needed another good RPer to get things going. wink ))
Meanwhile Erevek was absorbed in his own problems, blasting his brother with small but distracting Ki blasts, swiping at the Chimera with whatever limb was closest, and all in all baiting the enraged and mindless beast. So intent was he that he never even noticed they were approaching the castle, in fact it did not even occure to him to worry when he flew through one of the buildings great stone windows flitting through the dragon-high hallways with uncanny speed, his brother one step behind. He halted when he entered a great open throne room. He sucked in breath through his teeth, he remembered this room... His pause was breif as it was no time at all before his brother tailed him into the enormous and nearly empty hall. With a snarl Vek bolted foreward towards a great stone monument he didn't remember having been here before. It had some sort of inscription on a panel which gaced the thrones. But Vek barely even glanced at it, his focus was all on the sword which was embedded in it's surface. With one easy motion he grabbed the blade and slid it from it's stoney sheath. Turning to face his brother with a snarl. "You are really starting to annoy me you Buggar!" He shouted as he dove towards the mindless monster.

Blue_Elf "Actually, while your hospitality has been more than welcoming I could use a good streatch of the legs. I shall accompany you." Leo said informally. Illusor nodded with a smile, at Leo's response. "We shall be moving quickly," He warned him, and then with a curt phrase the both of them disapeared. They reapeared in an odd shower of cerulean leaves deep within the forests, both of them could hear distant sounds of some battle, clashes of wood and metal, screams and shouts and the distinct smell of fire and blood assaulted their noses. Illusor did not wait for long but took off at a dash towards the conflict, "Follow me at a distance!" He warned Leo over his shoulder, "I don't want you in the thick of things over there, please hang back until I calm things down."
In the battle between the beast of fury and the mortal warriors, things did not seem to be going well at all. Feralina had just disapeared into yet another ball of fire when Illusor entered from the far edge of the clearing, his breathing was a little heavier, and his silver hair a touch on the tousled side but other wise he did not seem to disrupted. With one quick glance he took in the scene at hand, his most immediate concern was the possibility of fatal injuries. Quickly deciding there weren't any, his attention was now directed to halting the fighting.
"Este Kiristaul Gjerien auyikn" Illlusor shouted, and the entire scene froze. Every person engaged in the battle found themselves unable to move any limbs. They could breath, and they could speak and see. but that was about the extent of their possible motion. With a sigh Illusor walked calmly foreward, his ice-blue eyes lcoking on each person in turn. Smiling calmly and encouragingly he moved gracefully between all of the combatants. "If you would be so kind as to explain what has been occuring here, It would be my pleasure to assist you in solving these differences non-violently." He explained with his soothingly musical voice.

(( Disappointment due to her inability to contribute? When did that happen? o.O *Shrugz* ))
Violet gave a barely audible squeak as the Beast of Fury vanished. Landing on the ground on all fours, she blew her hair from her eyes, mildly annoyed. How are you supposed to hold down a creature with teleportation abilities? Especially when you haven't the faintest idea how they continued to dematerialise and materialise before you.
How do you kill a creature that can't be killed? What kind of a question was that? Perhaps there was some sort of a pattern? It would be nice to know where next to expect Firalina, if nothing else.
It would also have been nice to have been able to move. She was surprised to find herself frozen in place. Closing her eyes, she counted to ten, trying not to panic. Of course, all thoughts fled her mind the moment she heard that voice. It was nothing like anything she'd ever heard. Fleetingly she wondered what it would be like to hear the one in possession of this voice sing. The fact that she was still frozen brought her back to reality.
An unviolent resolution... was there such a thing in a world filled with humanity's greed, hatred, anger, fear?

Raziel knew a moment of dissorientation, then as realization of the situation came to him, his eyes blazed with fury and his scream of unadulterated rage which echoed throughout the clearing. Although it was some small consolation that Firi could not retort since her sounds had been silenced.
Auron smiled to himself, and waited till he got a clear look at Illusor as he passed in front of him. "Do I take it that you are a high level white mage then? Your timing could not have been better." Despite his current inability to move he still felt suddenly at ease. However his mind did quickly start to 'feel out' the spell the healer had used trying to find a weakness just in case.

OOC: Umm, Skyangel...you DO know that Violet is frozen in place right now don't you? Did you happen to read the pretty blue post by the equally 'pretty' Illusor_Meaneld. *cough*fop*cough*
Firalina was inches from sinking teeth into the vampire's shoulder. Yet she remained inches, that never seemed to lessen. She began to realize about then that nothing else was moving of her body either, except necessary vital functions. Firalina tried a few practice snaps at the back of Raziel's head (or rather the side of his face as he had been turning to meet her attack in typical blazing fast Vampire speed) Before resigning herself to this, but of course, temprorary fate. Then her amber eyes fell upon the healer and her rage instantly disappated. "Well well well, perhaps I should have left the other to his demise..."After all this one seems rather intriguing..."This is rather intriguing, it is not often I meet a mortal powerful enough to cast a spell with some hold over me. I'm really rather impressed..." Firalina purred conversationally, after shifting her form and thus negating Auron's silence spell.
"HEY!" Andrea protested. "What do you mean, not often meet a mere mortal powerful enough to compare to you? We were kicking the tar outta your furry butt!" The Kaijin girl's anger redoubled as Firalina merely laughed at her complaints.
"Perhaps you should cast that intriguing silencing spell over your noisy comrade." Firalina suggests to Auron.

That Firalina was seriously beginning to get on her nerves. Beast of Fury or not, Violet wasn't used to dealing with such a stuck up... creature... She was also used to mobility. Nevertheless, a second glance at Illusor made her immediately regret her actions.

Illusor smiled with amiable tolerance at all of the comments which flew back and forth. He turned to smile at Violet, and then looked surprised and remorseful as he realized the uncomfortable predicament she was in. Walking gracefully over to stand before her he put one gentle hand on her shoulder, and as he helped her stand she found she could move to a small extent, though her movements felt stiff. The healer then assisted her until she sat comfortably upon a tree root. However once his hand left her shoulder she found herself just as frozen as before, but in a much better and more comfortable vantage point from whence to view the proceedings. "If you please ladies," Illusor began in an almost magically soothing tone, "I would be in your debt if you would be so kind as to explain the situation which began this momentous conflict..." He smiled at all present before turning to Violet, "However I think I would ask for you to begin this story," Then he glanced warningly at the others, "And if you would be considerate enough not to interupt I will permit you to retain your capacities to speak."

Violet managed to smother an emerging surge of embarrassment at having to be helped to do as childish a task as walk. She hesitated when she was asked to speak. Again, she didn't like public speaking whatsoever and despised being the centre of attention even more, although her rage was inclined to get the better of her at times.
Sighing mentally, she began.
"Well... the situation itself was simple enough," she began slowly.
"Eric... That is... Was it... Everek? and I encountered... Firalina who was... conversing... with Drakian... and Andrea?" she paused for a moment, unsure of all the names.
"Then Drakian... transformed... and Eric... no, Everek bade us run away... when we were attacked... Then Raziel and... another... appeared. Raziel... was fighting Drakian... but then... Drakian was suddenly before us... and so Er...evek took to the air with his... brother... following after him. The rest of us... continued to run... but then... a... small conflict occured."
Here she paused again, feeling her cheeks turn a very pale shade of pink. Normally she was confident, if not a strong speaker. Who was this being, that could reduce her to paragraphs of stuttering?
"Firalina... remarked about something I'd said and Andrea... became defensive..."
How to explain that it wasn't because she cared about her, but because she cared for what she represented? Best to leave it out. Nevertheless, she took the opportunity to glance gratefully at Andrea before continuing onwards, doing her best to desist her stammer.
"The... disagreement grew and resulted in a battle," she finished calmly, doing her best to seem unaffected by his presence.
Yet another thought brought her back to reality.
"Oh! Eric! Could someone please help him?"
Although she did her best to sound unconcerned, the worry in her voice was genuine and betrayed the emotionless expression she wore.

Raziel growled deep in his throat, after trying everything he could think of to break free of Illusor's spell. Finally as a last resort, he dissappeared completely, vanishing into the spectral realm to search out a returning point to come back. Though he had no idea how long that would take. It was still better than sitting here frozen like that.
Auron tried to relax as much as possible even though he was frozen in an uncomfortable position. He trusted that the white mage would not leave him like this forever. His expreinces with white mages like him had given him a little bit of confidence of the type of people they were.

Firalina released one long-suffering sigh, as if completely disinterested and painfully bored with the current situation. If she had not been frozen in place her ears would have flicked with similar chagrin. In all she was quickly becoming irritated by this spell, she was un accostomed to being required to sit in one spot, even when she sat still of her own accord, some part of her, usually her tail, was always moving. The fact she was unable to do so was beginning to unhinge her.
OOC: Firi's getting freaked out becuse as an embodiment of flame, sitting still is almost an equivalent to death. It is completey against her nature. And while she has a weakness against ice and cold, though water doesn't affect her much, because fire can burn on water.
Andrea struggled against the magical restraint for some time trying to get at the overly cocky Beast of Fury, but eventually gave up when she realized the spell wasn't about to break. She listened to Violet's account and looked embarrassed as the other girl thanked her.As she looked away self consciously, she realized that Firalina didn't seem to be quite so high and mighty, there was a wild look to the Beasts eyes that could almost be called panic in any other being. So, the Immortal Beast of Fire isn't so unfazeable after all. Andrea considered smugly.

Illusor listened carefully, nodding slowly as Violet spoke and encouraging her gently when she halted or faltered. "thank you very much." He said when she drew her story to a close. "That definetally helps," then he turned and considered the other frozen people, noting Raziel's disapearance with a sympathetic and pitying smile. He wandered towards Auron, taking note of the position the warrior still held, and with one hand he helped ease the warrior into a straight standing position, and repositioned his outstretched arm so that it hung at his side with the tip of his sword resting against the ground. that done, he glanced at Andrea and Feralina, and noting the beast's discomfort muttered something under his breath. Next thing the beast of Fury knew the later half of her tail had regained it's momentum. The healer then turned back to Auron, "If you would be so kind Sir, would you relate your own version of the story for me?" He asked with an encouraging smile,
