[Nils released everyone already, Sue, so no one's under the spell of the flute anymore, I believe.]
The moment Nils put the cursed flute to his lips, Ninian knew that something was indeed very wrong with the bard. This boy wasn't her brother, but someone--or something--else entirely.
She regained consciousness, noticing immediately that Nils was gone. Ceasing the spell he'd been casting, Renault raced out of the room, or rather, he jumped out the window; Ninian could only guess he pursued Nils. Glancing down before rising, Ninian saw the other three rings. Perplexed, she grabbed them, sliding them snugly into place on her fingers.
Quickly, she ran out of the room, downstairs, and outside. Rei and Amelia were still fighting, but where had Nils gone?
Her head ached; she spotted Renault first before she caught sight of Nils, bishop chasing after bard.
"Nils!" she cried, hurrying to try and catch up to him.

(( No, it was for the people literally inside the house so he could escape. No one should be under the flute's control presently since he was kind enough to free them. :3 ))
Nils just kept running, faster and faster, not pausing for a moment. He heard the shattering of the window behind him, so he knew that at least someone was following him. Stick with the plan... Just a bit further... And then he noticed Sue, aiming right at him.
... Damn it!! Three against one, with the numbers easily being able to change to be more against him. He glanced ahead, at the dark magic barrier. So close, and yet so far away. Would he risk continuing with the intended plan?
... No. So he turned and fled, heading into the forest, determined to get away and shake off any foolish pursuers in the process.
(( Please, please, PLEASE don't say you caught up to him. I wanted to do more with dark!Nils, but my irritation at people has caused me to cut my plan short. <<
And now, to go play Platinum and try to forget the hell I just went through. x_x;; ))

The nomad whirled around quickly to notice Ninian trying to take off after her brother. However, it seemed like the ice dragon's movement was much slower than her own, being unmounted and all. Reaching out, Sue invited Ninian to board her steed. "Hurry, we must catch him! Get on the back and hold on tight!" she exclaimed.
~Edit~ (Now that I saw Nils's post.)
Even in motion, Sue's sharp eyes she got from years and years of training in the Sacaen plains pointed her in Nils's direction. She would stop him.

And then Nils ran into the forest. Ninian's heart sank. At Sue's invitation, she took the nomad's hand and allowed herself to be pulled up onto the horse. Clutching the back of Sue's shirt, they raced on.
And yet even though Sue's horse moved faster than Ninian ever could in human form, the dragoness knew they'd never catch up to the fleeing bard. This bard . . . this person . . . he wasn't Nils; he wasn't her brother.
Her brother was gone. Even so, a small part of her still hoped they could somehow catch him and bring Nils back.

"No time, Aran!" Renault rushed past the halberdier, following Nils. One glance went towards Sue; what was the woman doing? She wasn't going to shoot Nils, was she? The bishop hoped not. . . but he didn't have time to worry about that now. If Nils made it into the woods, he was pretty much gone; Sue's horse couldn't maneuver well through the trees, and Renault himself had never been that great with forests. The agile little bard would have the advantage over them inside it.
But it wasn't going to work. He could pretty much see that now. Unless something happened to slow the bard down, he was going to make it into the trees before Renault could catch up to him. Damn it! What the hell was going on here?!
((There, an easy escape. ^^ ))

(( Ok, obviously nobody knows where I am or even bother to ask so I"m jstu going to stick Ephraim somewhere random between the manor and the barrier >_> ))
The eerie feeling Ephraim was getting suddenly disappeared. It was strange but the feeling was gone, not entirely since he still felt a little akward. Before he turned to return back to Rhys, he spotted a small figure suddenly approaching the forest. It took Ephraim a quick second to realize who it was "Nils?" he questioned, heading over to the small steep hill, sliding down to the bottom where he then spotted Sue and Renault run after the boy toward the forest. Before Ephraim had any time to react, Nils had disappeared into the forest.
((so we're clear, I'm leaving him at the bottom of a slightly steep hill >_>;; ))

"I'm just gonna assume Nils went over to the Dark Side then." Aran muttered under his breath. He saw Sue aim at the fleeing Nils but he hoped she wasn't aiming to kill.
Sue and Ninian may be able to catch up to Nils.. but it's a bad idea methinks. I may as well stay here and wait for that barrier to break. He thought to himself, even if he did chase after Nils then it would be somewhat difficult for him to navigate through all the trees. And if he used that flute, he wouldn't want to be possessed.

The nomad immidiately stopped her pursuit, seeing how her horse reacted so negatively to the trees in front of her. She stopped the reigns before the steed could possibly rear up and throw both her and her passenger to the ground, possibly breaking a few bones at least. Swearing, the nomad put away her bow and arrow. "Ninian... forgive me. I haven't kept my promise to you and the rest of our comrades. I couldn't help your brother. Let's go back to the house...."
She hated to give up, but surely, with Alihi, the tactician on their side, they'd come up with a plan. It might be thrown awry, but they'd make it work. They just had to come together, that's all.
{Maybe not so much a CMOA? Or maybe so? After all, she's not a sore loser.}

Ninian managed to keep a hold of Sue as the horse jerked to a halt. The dragoness could sense the horse's fear. Ninian stared into the trees, barely listening to what the nomad was saying.
". . . Yes," she finally replied. "Let's go back." As much as she wanted to find her brother, she knew it to be a futile effort.
"Miss Sue, you didn't break your promise," she told the nomad as they headed back to FEFGA's. "At the very least, you tried to help Nils. Thank you."
They weren't giving up on Nils. Not now, not ever.

"I will eventually save him, and Rei." Sue vowed. "We Sacaens never lie, so... that is a promise I will never go back on. They are both members of the Host Club... and my friends, Ninian. For them... and you, I'd do absolutely anything."
Dismounting, Sue left her horse outside, tied up as usual. She went into the FEFGA house's stash of arrows, arming her quiver full after the outburst she went into quite earlier. 20 good crafted silver arrows. They were enough to take down even the fiercest of fliers.

(( Part of this post wasn't inspired by a comment someone made... of course not. 8D ))
Alihi's eyes opened slowly and she groaned. Somehow, she had managed to remain out of all the trouble with Nils. Was it by choice? No one really knew. "Okay, that's enough sittin--" She moved to stand up, but was jerked back by her cloak. "... What the?" She tried moving again, only to have the same result. With a sighed, she unclipped the green cloak and stepped away from the chair. The tactician then tugged on the cloak, eventually pulling it off the chair, stumbling in the process.
What she saw on the cloak made her frown. "Ah, damn it... I sat in glue." She shook her head, brushing off the substance with her hand. "... Ergh."
She found herself staring out the window, off into the distance where pretty much everyone else was. She let a sigh escape her lips before putting the cloak back on, pretty much as clean as it was before.
The tactician then turned to Sue, who had went to go restock on her arrows. She made a mental note to pay a visit to the armory later. "... So, we're down two now, huh?" She stated grimly. Who will be next? How does she choose who she'll take? Alihi tried to make a connection, but wasn't too successful. The only connections she thought of were absolutely ridiculous.

Stunned by Sue's words, Ninian remained silent, dismounting when they reached FEFGA's. The tears she'd been holding back started to flow, sliding down her face.
Friends? she though slowly. People I'd do anything for? Do I . . . have friends?
Yes, she decided. I do have friends here, Sue included. And I'll do everything I can to help them, starting with Rei.
With that, she headed off to see what had become of the Druid and the General.

Ephraim sat there in the dirt, simply watching as he hid under the shadows of the hill. Sue and Ninian retreated back to the manor while Renault seemed to have headed to where the barrier was. He blinked, getting up from the dirt, Ephraim slung his spear over his shoulder and walked toward the forest, eventually getting himself surrounded by the trees. The boy was long gone from what the noble had seen but exploring this forest a bit wouldn't be a bad idea.
He stepped over a tree that was knocked over and landed on the leaves with a soft rustle. Now probably wasn't the time to be exploring the land but something still didn't feel right. His mind was telling him 'turn around now or you'll regret it' yet his gut was telling him something wasn't right.
"I really should go back" He whispered in his mind, turning around to get back on the road yet his legs were leading him the opposite way "No no no no no, the OTHER way Ephraim! THIS CURIOSITY WILL KILL YOU ONE DAY DAMMIT" giving up, Ephraim threw his arms in the air in surrender and gave in to his curiosity. "I'm going to regret this, I just know it" without another word, he ventured further into the unknowns of the forest.
((No I"m not following Nils, Ephraim doesn't even know for sure that was Nils just so we're clear >.>;; so you can still be evil XD ))

(I'll be here!) Valter walked through the door to Fefga's house casually, as if he had just left for a few minutes to get some fresh air. After mumbling something about traffic, Valter sat down in a seat and started humming to himself.

Ashnard came out of the basement, who was apparently KO'ed by the tendrils of darkness. His armor, no longer enchanted by the goddess, was slightly dented and the Mad King looked pissed. Slamming Gurgurant into the wall next to Valter, the angered man asked "What the hell happened?"
