Kia didn't like that phrase. What he was. What was he? His question had somehow changed for his life from who was he to what. It seemed strange to not know what you are. You would think you would just know.

"I might have cooked, but I'll help clean." He still felt greatly indebted to her, and he hadn't even started to repay her for her kindness. Job or not, he was going to do what he could for her now. He owed his life to her. He could at least cook and clean for her. He grabbed his own dishes and followed her.

Kia followed her, doing the same thing. "Should have known you had a dish washer." Kia said with a shrug. Him and Yojan often did the dishes by hand together. Sense mom got that night job, they had to learn to be fairly self reliant. Thankfully Kia was usually around to help Yojan out. He wondered what they where doing without him? Probably worrying over him. He was in the hospital afterall.

"If only you knew how much cleaning I have done. Myself and Yojan that is." He was being reminiscent again. It wasn't even a full day away and he already missed his family. "Do you have any family? You mentioned other Enforcers, but you have not made mention of family." Kia was wondering. Did were's even have families? How did they find out about themselves? Did their parents tell them? Actually, where did a werewolf come from?

Kia wondered some more. "How did you find out you were a werewolf?" he sat next to her on the table when he finished as well. He had so many question, and he knew she couldn't answer all of them. Actually, most of his questions he was sure not even the council could answer, but he had to ask. If they knew anything about him though, even the smallest piece of information, it would help. "So you choose to be alone? Sounds like a very... quiet life?" He knew he didn't term that right, but it sounded lonely. He was only away from his family for one day so far, and he already missed them. Of course, the more he knew, the more he realized they weren't his real family.

Thing was, he didn't care. They treated him as though he was family. Back before he knew what a family was. They took him in when everyone else refused to. They helped him when he was hurting. Now he was causing them pain as well. It was frustrating. Maybe Kalia had a point with working alone, and living alone. It still felt like a lonely life. It seemed to him as though she was just existing. There had to be more than that to life.

Kia looked perplexed at her responce. He expected her to have been born a werewolf. Just as he was probably born a vampire. He took the offered seat so he could listen to her. She might reveal a possible hint at his own past, even if it was from her own past. "Cursed? I don't get it." Too many different things that he didn't know about was happening. Too many things he had no idea about, or was flat out told didn't exist was being revealed to him. He would listen however, as he was sure Kalia wouldn't lie to him. She might not tell everything, but he hadn't seen her lie yet.

Kalia smiled with just a faint hint of bitterness, "I was very foolish when I was younger... because my father never had time for me and I had no other family, I would always be surrounded by suitors, I'd flirt and preen..." she said with a touch of disgust at her former behavior, "But never promise anything... or favor anyone boy for too long, if I did I would have lost the company, if they thought there was no hope for them they would have left... and back then I was deathly afraid of being alone..." she said her eyes distant, "I made the mistake of capturing the heart of the grand-son of a powerful sorceress... He told me, he," she paused, "wanted to marry me... and I refused him... he killed himself and his grandmother cursed me... She called me as fickle as the moon in her spell commanding that I appear as the monster I truly am beneath it's light..." she said. "After that I stop seeing everyone... I refused to let others know me... and I got used to being alone. After all my fear was what had led to my curse..." she said with a shrug.

Kalia hid a tiny smile, alot of people had become indignant on her behalf over the years and it made her smile a little that none of the realize it was as much her fault as it was his, "Do you see why I object to people giving up?" she asked calmly.

Kalia shrugged, "I liked him the best of all the men I knew... but as I said I didn't play favorties... I was deathly afraid of anything that would lessen the number of people in my life..." she said off handedly.
