"Hmm... is that so?" Cindy murmured.
She wondered, what could that change be, though she had her suspicions.
Miyu looked up at the house, she remembered this house, but it looked very different. Granted it had been fall and nearly winter the last time she had been here, and before that she was pretty sure it wasn't finished.

Rhea giggled at Cindy and followed her down the stairs. "Don't ask me how," she grinned. "I closed it out before I knew how. I just know she's different, that's all."
Aragost put one hand lightly on Miyu's shoulder. "Have you been here yet since it was finished?" he asked her softly. "It is very beautiful ..."

Cindy had to giggle in turn, "Just well it'll be a surprise."
Even though there was always a chance the change might not be obviously surprises is what made life interesting. She couldn't imagine always knowing.
She nodded at Aragost's question, "Last visit.... everyone went to see Rhea."
Thinking about back on it, it had been quite 'cold' that day, being a relative term for her.
"She made blue roses for everyone."

Rhea giggled and slipped past Cindy as they reached the bottom of the stairs, and skipped towards the door, pulling it open before there was even a knock.
Whisper just shook her head and sighed. "You never learn," she muttered softly. She had heard stories about how shy and excitable Miyu was ... Rhea was just asking for trouble.
Aragost smiled at Miyu. "She enjoys spreading happiness," he said softly. "I am certain she will continue to do the same for you."

It was a good thing Miyu didn't even get close enough to the door to even be in knocking distance, otherwise it might have made it worse. However she really hadn't expected someone suddenly open the door and obviously with a lot of energy.
"Mi!"
Cindy sighed a bit hearing the tellatale 'mi', "There she goes....."

Rhea giggled at Cindy. "My fault," she grinned. Then she turned back to the door and stepped outside. "Hello, Miyu!" she said brightly. "Welcome back! It's been a long time since you've been here!"
Whisper was still padding along behind Rhea and Cindy, and at Rhea's greeting she rolled her eyes, as well as a cat could.
"And at this rate," she muttered under her breath, "it's going to be a long time before she comes back."

Cindy peered down at Whisper in amusement and wondered if sarcasm and wit were traits of angelics because it was at times like listening to Wish all over again.
"Now, now...." Cindy murmured, "It's not that bad."
Miyu looked up slightly resisting the urge to play with her fingers or to bolt for that matter. Besides this was Rhea, (at least she was sure it was) who gave her flowers and liked to play.
"A very long time mi.... it's good to see you again."

Whisper looked up at Cindy, sitting just to one side so that she wouldn't be in the way. "You know how hyper she can get," she said firmly, "and I've been told how your niece is."
She looked at Miyu thoughtfully. "Though she does seem a bit better than I had been expecting," she admitted.
Rhea beamed at Miyu. She was indeed doing much better than the last time she had seen her. At least, she wasn't running away - which was something.
"It's good to see you too," she beamed. "You've grown so big!"

"Well she's trying," Cindy murmured.
Miyu had been trying even before she err.. grew, which made Cindy wondered when did that happen. Eying her niece up and down, Cindy figured she was at least as tall as Yue, which was saying something not being even an adult yet. Well her tall genes certainly did not come from Jaseth that was for certain.
Miyu blushed at that, compared to when they were both children yes they had both grown quite big.
"So have you..." she murmured, "Much... taller."

Rhea giggled. "Mama says someday I'm going to be as big as Papa is," she said proudly. "I'm thinking maybe not, since Papa's so tall and I'm almost done growing, but still, the idea is nice."
She stepped to one side. "Come on in," she beamed. "It's a long walk here from the ranch, would you like a drink?"
Whisper was watching the two girls curiously, and she nodded her head slowly at Cindy. "She seems to be doing all right," she murmured. "Quite different from what I had expected, from what I had been told."

Miyu tried to recall Adonai, he was tall, but everyone was really tall, but she was pretty sure he was taller than most. Padding inside, she nodded meekly, a drink sounded nice...
"I would like that thank you," she smiled a bit, remembering how things were the first time she met Rhea.
She paused for a moment to think about what else Rhea had said.
"Well... almost... isn't quite done yet."
"Well... the last anyone had seen Miyu she was a child, granted you've never seen an angel or human child, they're small compared to elven children. Being a teen will certainly put a new spin onto things..."
Which might explain why Miyu was doing better.

Rhea led Miyu down the hall towards the kitchen, watching her curiously. "What isn't quite done yet?" she asked, perplexed.
"To be fair," Whisper pointed out, "until yesterday I had never seen anyone from your world before."
And Feng and Ryu had been a surprise indeed.

"Oh... uhm...." Miyu hadn't realized she wasn't being clear, "Growing... you said you were almost done growing, not that you're done growing. You might... be able to grow to be that tall still."
Granted she wasn't quite sure how growing for a natural person could be, she was used to growing in large spurts. She looked over her shoulder to see if Yami-san was still there or if he had gone back...
"This is true...." Cindy nodded.
It was interesting she thought spending time with Whisper how much this had become Whisper's world, even though Fluffy Cats were not natives to this world.
"Has it been interesting for you?"

"Oh," Rhea giggled. "Well, maybe. Papa's still about this much taller than I am." She held one hand about four inches above her head. "I doubt I'll grow a quarter that much. Still, it's nice to hope, right?"
She led Miyu to the kitchen and motioned for her to take a seat.
Whisper blinked slowly at Cindy. "I find my life interesting, yes," she said softly, "but it is all that I know. I know that I was brought here from your world ... but it means almost nothing to me."
She purred softly in the back of her throat. "But I do like it here."
Aragost was indeed still there, but as usual he preferred to remain unnoticed, and so while Rhea and Miyu were talking, he hung back a bit, and once they got to the kitchen he stood in a corner silently.

Miyu nodded at this as she took a sit, sitting on the edge of the chair. She looked around her, and couldn't recall being in this room before, but then again she was pretty sure the last time she was here they stayed in the study and living room.
"It is," Miyu agreed, "Though... I don't think I ever thought about how tall I'd like to get."
Then again she wasn't much up for change in her life.
"I'm glad," Cindy murmured bending down to scratch Whisper behind the ear, "Sometimes I wonder about you and Saki, being the only two cats like yourselves here."
