"You may not have been born this way, but this does not make you lesser than anyone else. All of you where still 'born' human at some point in your lives, whether it was natural or not... you are really not as different as you think." Said the soft voice of a young girl standing directly behind Tetsuo.
It was hard to tell what this mysterious young lady looked like. She wore a lavender cloak around herself that hide her form, all except the lower half of her face which wore a gentle smile. The girl looked like she was a little over five feet tall and standing next to the at least six or taller Tetsuo it made her look very tiny and hard to determine her age.
She walked up closer to the young man and very gently touched the lower part of his back. "Oh my, it appears that you have a few cracked vertebre. You must be in a great deal of pain?" She said. Her voice was very honest and calming with a great deal of kindness.
Without saying a word a soft energy glowed from her finger tips. It's soft warmth flowed from her fingers into Tetsuo's back, tiny little pops could be heard from his spine, slowly mending the cracks.
"Does it feel better now? I'm sorry my powers aren't strong enough to completely heal your back, but should a little in the healing process."
She smiles "Please pardon me but I must take my leave, I have a previous engagement to attend. If you will all excuse me." then bowing gracefully she makes her way down the hallway.
She does not walk to far when she hears a familar voice coming from futher down the hallway. The girl peeks her head around the kitchen door to see a very familar and gruf figure. Unable to contain herself the girl runs up behind the man and throws her arm around his waist and hugs him.
"Mr. Logan! It is so very good to see you again!"
Wolverine seems to be take back for only a second at the small figure hugging him until he recognizes who it is. "Well I'll be! If it isn't the Little Princess? How've you been short stuff?" He smiles and lifts the girl up in the air and hugs her before setting her back down again. "You've grown since the last time I saw you. How long has it been now?"
"I told you not to call me Princess, it's bad enough with Kahito and the others calling me that all the time." She says with a pout.
The girl removes her hood to reveal her almost sureal looking features. Her dark green emerald eyes is complemented very nicely be the soft ivory color of her petite face, and her long flowing cheasnut brown locks fame her face well. Even with it loosely braid over her shoulder her hair reaches almost down to her ankle, all her features almost make her appear like she is a life size porcelain doll.
She smiles at Wolverine. "It's been almost 13 years, before my heart replacement I believe. How have you been Mr. Logan? Have you been well...... Oh.... I am terribly sorry have I intrupted something?" She politely gesture to the young lady stand near him.
((OOC: Sorry for butting in on your post Penny, but I've been dying to start posting again. >.>; And for some reason I just couldn't help having someone a small as Kylia hug big buff Wolverine. O.o Am I weird or what? XD But seriously it is good to be back online. Sorry to all of you for being away so long. ^^; So is the burden that comes with my new life.))

He'd made it to the front gate and wasn't regreting this choice, so far, so good. Extending his left Arm, he presses the intercom button. "Yes?" Thevoice that answers is inteligent and sophisicated, but slightly annoyed, someone being overworked. "..Uhm, Hello." Kris's voice is polite, his accent...accenting his voice wonderfully. "I'm calling because, to put it bluntly, I am a mutant, you might have heard about me on the news." He winces, that didn't make him sound good. "Oh, but in a good way, I did a good dead that lead to being on the evening news." He sighs. "So I came here." "...I see, please enter."
Kris does so, parking infront of the building and exiting his vehicle. Climbing up the mansion steps, he is met by a large, hairy, blue man, Beast. "You must be one of the 'X-people,' I'm Kris." He extends his hand, which Beast takes in his paw. "Hank McCoy, but some people call me Beast, for Obvious reasons." Beast removes his glasses, cleans then and looks at Kris. "The charactures don't do you justice, plase enter." Beast turns and becons Kris to enter, then pauses. "I must say that you didn't seem to frightened by my appearance." Beast looks at him approvingly, awaiting Kris's reply. "I have seen Linardo DiCaprrio try to act in Shakespearian film, nothing is a frightening as that." Kris shrugs. "Besides, to be honest, you seem a bit like 'Bear in the big blue house'." Beast laughs, agreeing, asking Kris if he wants anything. "Tea. I'll make it myself if you point me to the kitchen." Beast does so, and Kris bids him farewell as he wanders the laberenth-like halls as he heads for the kitchen.

Regina nodded and stood. "I don't even know who the leaders are anymore. It seems that the Professor is allowing the Brotherhood to reside here, considering their home... I would have done the same. Besides, we need to band together with people like Ahab out there." she paused. "I really missed you... not knowing what we'd be was a constant worry for me. are we... still... yeah, you know...?"
Gen blinked at yet another new comer. This one hugging the gruffest person she had been introduced to at the institute. Nodding to the young man that had recently appeared, "What she said, but only shorter. It doesn't matter how you were made what you are, you're still welcome here. Besides, you're kinda cute."
Grabbing Teagan's arm, she began hurring off around a corner. The blush beginning around her ears as she realized what she had just said. She figured it would be forgotten soon enough, but she couldn' teven believe she had juts said it. Impulsive was not one of her characteristics...

"Disturbing? Of course not! You actually saved my life!" said Freya, smiling to Kylia. "Logan here was about to cut me into pieces."
"Try to not sound too cheerful about it," he replied with an angry growl. But he tried to stay calm for Kylia's sake. "I'll talk to you later, Penny," he said as he glanced to a very upset Penance. "After I took care of that blond," he added under his breath.
Freya giggled. The spirits around her started to tell her about Kylia and she found it quite interesting. She bowed her head a little to greet her more fomerly. "I'm pleased to meet you, Kylia. My name is Freya."
She saw the girl blinked at her and smiled gently. "Sorry. Bad habit of mine. Because of my powers, I tend to know a lot about people before we actually talk or meet. But don't worry. The spirits didn't tell me anything embarrassing about you. I hope we'll be good friends."

Jacen did alot of wandering before he actually settled on one isolated spot in the courtyard. There, he was sure he wouldn't be interrupted. He had too much on his mind to even speak with anyone, let alone be social.
The first thoughts through his mind were how elated he felt that Penance was back, but that was only a fleeting thought. Soon, waves of guilt clouded his mind, turning his mood darker than it already was. Second, he was thinking about what Emma had said; him leading people. He wasn't thrilled about that notion either. He wasn't exactly comfortable with casualties in battle. It had happened to him once while he led a small mission, and he never led a mission after that.
".......Prolly thinking I'm avoiding her," he said quietly to himself as he got up from his seat. He hadn't spent more than a minute around Penance when she woke, not that he had the choice to do so. But even now, even with all the guilt, he was wanting to see her. Without so much as a noise, Jacen jumped slightly off of his seat, and started back into the Institute. When he walked past the kitchen window, he saw Penance talking with Wolverine. Jacen made a note as to how interesting it was that things were coming around full circle, and after that walked inside and headed towards the kitchen.
It was only a matter of minutes, and Jacen was back in the kitchen again. If he wasn't training constantly or off being by himself, he was usually called upon to cook for alot of the kids there. For whatever reason, they seemed to like his cooking. He didn't interrupt the two's conversation, he only walked to the fridge, grabbed a soda, and took a seat. He was at least going to wait this out before speaking up.

"This is just too much," Penance muttered to herself, ran her fingers through her hair and left the main foyer to go back to the kitchen. Her emotions were set to explode at any minute. For the past year all she thought about was how elated she'd be to get rid of Jade. Not for one second did she think about what it would be like to actually return.
She knew Jacen was already there. For some reason, Penance was somewhat hesitant to approach him. No, not for some reason. She knew the reason. She was lost and didn't know what to do or how to react to anything at the moment. Her biggest fear was not having a place with anybody here anymore.
"I have to be upfront," Penance said and grabbed the carton of ice cream she was eyeing earlier, "I feel like I'm going to lose it today... and I'd really like to have a conversation with you before it happens."
Although... ice cream was always her friend... "Although... this might do the trick... in a temporary artificial sugar way..."
She found herself avoiding the conversation she wanted to have so she stopped her derailed thoughts and went on, "Jacen, I don't even know where to begin with this..."
After eating a bit off her spoon, " My yesterday was falling asleep next to you somewhere in the mountains of Colorado. And my today has me in a world I don't even know and everything and everybody has changed... It's like I've woken up from a year long coma, and I just don't know where to begin figuring out my life again... And it's not that everything else matters that much, the real thing I need to know right now is if you've moved on with your life."
Before he started to answer her, she cut him off because she just didn't want to lose anything she intended to say to him because she knew she was going to be an emotional wreck.
"And I know you. I know you probably feel guilty that you didn't find me... and I know that even if I tell you not to, you will. Jade would have killed you had you found me on your own. She would have killed any X-Man on a one on one. She got stupid and arrogant today... and that was the only way to stop her. I would have rathered things end the way they did than see her kill you, any of you. Right now, it's not an issue to me that I went through what I did... I have her killings on my hands, and I have to find a way to move on from what she did. I just need to know where my place in your life is right now so I can do this. I need to know if I'm on my own."

"Yea, we're still, you know," He laughed a bit, "The ladies aren't as nice on the other side of Xavier's gates."
"Jonothan," Regina gave him 'the look.'
"It's all in jest. Scott seems to be in charge of things around here... Let's go see if he has a free moment. From what I understand, Xavier stepped down as headmaster in order to give this place a neutral feeling. I believe that is why Emma Frost is here as well. I could be wrong. My information is only from bits and peices of reports I've read."
Regina and Porter headed towards Scott's office. Surprisingly enough, he had a secretary now... and not surprising, it was Kitty Pryde. She was bubbly as usual, nursing a wound that looked pretty painful. Regina looked at him, "That is another story I need to tell you."
"Looks like I've missed a lot..." He said and they waited to be seen by Scott.

Tetsuo was quite surprised at the little girl...repairing his damaged spine. He wasnt in much pain, naturaly high pain tolerances helped that. He was glad though, it would have taken atleast a week for his body to heal on its own. Hearing the other comment, the insides of his ears turned bright pink, seeing as that was the only part of him that actualy blushed..."Uhh..."
He thought about the girl's words. He realy wasnt all that different, the only thing was, all his differences were obvious. Unlike most mutants who, if need be, can hide among the humans without them suspecting a thing. Right hand emerged from his cloak. He stood there, staring at the metal palm. Humans don't like differences. One didnt like it so much, that he cut tetsuo's arm off in an attempt to kill him.
He hated his differences, but also knew that he was so much better than any human because of them. No human would ever attain the level of perfection that he had. A perfectly tuned body, light, yet incredibly strong. Insanely quick reflexes, coupled with a sense of balance that is better than even a cat's. And senses that mimic thoes of some of the best hunting animals that ever lived. Tetsuo was the perfect hunter, the perfect ninja. Well, he would be, if he would learn to concentrate better and not fool around.

"Hello Tetsuo, I'm Rachael, my friend over there is Cathy...it's nice to meet you." She relaxed with a smile. "Don't worry about it we're all here because we have problems fitting in. "And don't worry about barging in, you're welcome here..."
"And it looks like you had more problems than most..." Cathy commented noting the robotic hand. "Did you get that from a guy named Kersian...?" It looked like Kers's handywork. "Anywho, I'll catch you both later..." She grabbed Markus and Sonya. "We have to go visit someone." She pulled them towards the infirmery and to see Sasha.
"Catch you three later..." Rachael called after them as they left.
((Been at the holloween bash all weekend so its catch up time.))

OOC sad (Ok Theresa has an extreme weakness now. I also have an idea for an enemy mutant, that could go with this post, but I made the post so it wouldnt have to depend on a later enemy just incase.))
IC:Theresa had spent all this time locked up in her room. SHe had never expiercenced such an frightning acouter. THough it was thought nothing was down there with her, she was found the next curled in a ball in the cornor. Her face lifless, her skin white with fright.
She was rocking back and forth babbling about things that didnt make scence. SOmthing had definantly happened down there, or the darkness just frightened her to an extreme extent. Many now labeled her as crazy. It took many hours before her color began to return to her.
She didnt sleep at all, to frightened of the dark. SHe knew someone or somthing had done somthing to her, but no one would believe her. She cant really remeber to much of what happened. But she refused to walk into a dark room, and her light was always on. SHe is so lonely, no one to comfort her.
She sits on her bed face smeared with dried tears. She doesnt even remeber how she wound up in her room, all she remebers was a calm voice telling her it would be ok. But then she woke up in her bed, light off.
She had screamed loudly, a minor sonic scream, and ran to turn the lights off, ad then made her way slowly back to her bed. No one has come in to check on her since.

"I can see that. Xavier... is like the permanent fixture around a place like this. I understand his motives, though. Scott doesn't surprise me as a leader. Emma is a good teacher from what I know of her school up in Boston... just the quickness to accept her into these halls is the surprise to me," Porter said before Scott opened the door to them.
"Good to see you both back," Scott said in his normal 'I'm pretending I like everybody' tone.
"Good to be here," Porter sat down, "A lot has seemed to change in the past year. The only real question I have is the Brotherhood being here."
Scott nodded, "Bayville High, and most other schools, are not very safe for mutants anymore. Xavier wanted his school to be a neutral grounds to all students no matter their political views. We have some of the Brotherhood, some of Emma's former students, and some of the old Xavier students. More come in everyday looking for a safe place to study."
Porter nodded in understanding, "Fair enough. What's the status of the X-Men training teams."
"We're still working everything out. We have a few different teams training right now. Though, I would like you to lead up a training team again. Each counselor teacher has their own team right now... and we haven't found a replacement for your Literature classes so they're all yours."
"Good to know. Leave the roster of students on my desk, then," Porter answered, "No preferences this time."

Teagan blinked a few times as she allowed herself to be pulled by Gen. She thought about what she had just heard for a few moments, finally utterly confused.
"Did you just..? You didn't just....? Gen....what the HELL WAS THAT?!" She said, shaking her head, yanking her arm away and raising a brow at her roommate.
"Did you just tell that boy you think he's cute?" She asked, scratching her head.
She puzzled over it all for a few more moments. She replayed the whole thing in her over a few times, coming up with the same conclusion every time.

Regina nodded. "What about me and Penny? We're graduates now, but I understand that Jaime and Morgan have taken over the lead roles. That's fine and all, I'm not complaining, just more curious on what she and I are to do now?"
Gen's blush continued on down from her ears to her cheeks. "I ... er... I have no idea what came over me. I don't usually do or say things like that." She was in a puzzle. She did think he was cute but she'd never said that to anyone. "Maybe I said it because I won't be rejected for being a mutant...? Bobby and I lost touch, and it doesn't bother me."

"That's up to you and Evelyn," Scott answered, "I can't offer you teaching positions until you've completed some college. This isn't like the Institute of before. I can offer you assistant counselor and trainer positions under one of the current teachers. If you want to stay and just study, that is fine too. You both still have a position on the X-Men if you want it."
Porter didn't say anything. He understood the methodology. To keep the credentials up of the school, they had to employ qualified teachers.
