Lazard was about to speak until Bella shot him a glare. Bella took Blaze's arm to hold him up and started to walk away.
“I need to heal him”, said Bella, short snd simple as she walked out of the training room

Bella walked with Blaze to her room and sat him down on the couch. She waved her hand in front of his face
“You okay there?”

“Make sure you don't forget your sword”, smiled Bella as she ran to the closet to get blankets. “I'm gonna make some soup, don't go to sleep yet”. Bella put the blanket over Blaze before going into the kitchen. Within moments there was a radio playing sweet, soft songs, but it wasn't a a radio. It was insurments playing speakers while Bella filled in the words

"Thanks", smiled Bella. "It runs in the family, only one duaghter and son born, just the eldest get a voice like this...since I'm a only child I'm the only singer in the family. My mother taugh me everything, songs control and so on and so forth", explained Bella as she stirred the soup. "I don't want to tell you what what happened because...I don't want you to worry about it". In a few minutes Bella had a bowl of hot seafood soup in Blaze's face. "You eat now, this stuff is good for you. I'll be singing. My mom always sngs when I'm sick. She says that singing helps you feel relaxed and mentally controlled". Bella sat by the window and picked up a small guitar. "I'll sing you a song that my mother and grandmother always sang to me. We were both young, when I first saw you, I close my eyes and the flashbacks starts,I'm standing there...on the balcony of somewhere. See the lights, see the party and ballgowns, see you making your way through the crowd to say hello. Little did I know..."

The head of the corporation looked straight into Sephiroth's green eyes, unafraid. "I know all about the experimentations on Blaze, Sephiroth. I authorized them. As president of this corporation, I have the authority to override the heads of the departments if it conflicts with the best interets of the corporation." He walked back towards his desk before sitting down. "We need strong members of SOLDIER, that boy was the first in our experiments, and he was a radical success."

"You plan on continuing these experiments with others? You nearly killed him! Making such drastic alterations to one's genetic structure has a ninety-percent chance of killing the person the changes are being made to!" Sephiroth raged. His body tensed in frustration with the president's statement. "The boy is inexperienced with this change. What if he lost control? Your plans would have backfired and he could've done severe damage to this building before anyone could stop him, numerous casualties, and you could've been one of them!" He stormed out of the office, fury burning inside of him.

As he made his way to the elevator, he saw the hunch-backed scientist walking towards the president's office. A quick motion by the silver-locked SOLDIER allowed him to grab the cruel scientist by the neck and lift him into the air. "Are you proud of yourself!? Do you even have a sense of morals? You nearly killed a young boy, all for the sake of "science," despite Lazard's wishes not to have him experimented on during his coma. You appealed to President Shinra even though you knew it could be dangerous!

"I don't care how many breakthroughs you make in the field of science, you will never be a great scientist like Professor Gast was. You're nothing but a walking mass of complexes," Sephiroth snapped. He dropped the scientist to the ground, leaving Hojo crawling to get back up. "If I hear that you've been experimenting on more SOLDIERS, you won't like the outcome!" He entered the elevator, and set the destination for the 49th floor, SOLDIER's floor. The elevator descended down the building, and ended at the 49th floor, where he stepped out.

Blaze smiled as Bella began to sing. His muscles relaxed as he listened to the song. "I won't ask you about your family, since it makes you uncomfortable." His eyes closed as he continued to listen.

Sephiroth walked casually to the briefing room, interested in finding Lazard, Angeal, Zack and Genesis. "As much as I hate the very idea... we can't stop President Shinra from continuing the experiments. As the president, he has the greatest authority. The only one who could possibly be able to override him is his son and vice-president, Rufus. But he's on an... extended stay in Junon for business matters" he thought. The door slid open and he walked inside, waiting for the four he hoped to inform of what he had learned.

At least, that's the story President Shinra's feeding the public. I know from personal experience that he's under house arrest there for funding AVALANCHE and plotting his father's death." His arms crossed, he looked at the monitor.

"What was your mother like, actually?" Blaze asked. His mako eyes flickered in the light of the room.

"She sounds like an amazing woman," Blaze stated. His smile faded though, when he looked at Genesis. "Bella... are you sure you're not together with Genesis, and are simply hiding it so no one finds out about you two? I mean, you two are kinda... inseparable lately." He laughed sheepishly, a nervous grin on his face.

"Oh for the love of... I'm just going to call Lazard, Angeal and Zack on their phones and tell them. I figure Genesis will want to spend time with his girlfriend," the silver-haired SOLDIER remarked from inside the briefing room. He reached for his cell phone and dialed their numbers, calling them in a four-way conversation. "It's Sephiroth, I have something important all of you need to know, concerning my conversation with President Shinra about Hojo's experiments on Blaze.

"President Shinra overrode your denial of Hojo's request to experiment on the boy while he was in the coma, Lazard, as per Hojo's appeal. The man just doesn't seem to take no for an answer," he stated. He sighed into the phone, frustrated. "President Shinra and Hojo plan on conducting more experiments involving summon materia energies and using them to alter the DNA of SOLDIERS. They consider Blaze to be a radical success, despite the fact that the procedure has a ninety-percent chance of killing the one being experimented on.

"Every SOLDIER is to be on full alert about this. If Hojo and his scientists come to them, they're to take extreme precautions, and to place their self-healing capabilities to the fullest, knowing Cura or Curaga. We can't resist these experiments, President Shinra is authorizing this, he has the greatest authority," he finished.
