Psychedelic...
Now... Mephlius had begun to get angry. Like... the level of angry where his fingernails began to harden and sharpen, but not grow into claws. He clenched a fist. "Are you challenging my dedication to the hunters?" He said, coldly. "Are you assuming that I consider myself one of those mindless beasts?" Or maybe it's just because HE assumes I'm one of those mindless beasts. He hates Lycans already, he kills them for a living...

"No! Of course not! Your nothing like them, your civilized, i`m saying your better than the lycans out there." He saw the slow process of Mephlius` changing and decided it wasn`t worth it, he just kept quiet and walked for the door.

Psychedelic...
Mephlius had barely even heard what Kuro said. His mind played through every single time he accused himself of being a beast. He then thought of all the times he had proven himself not this. He then, unexpectedly, thought about all the things that Kuro had done, to make Mephlius mad. Mephlius took a few steps towards Kuro, walking very slowly. He stared down at the ground, his black hair hanging over his eyes.

Amnity quickly caught this. Immediately she chased after him, then stopped to get in his way. "Mephlius....Calm down...Please." At that moment, she felt like the little bird in their shadow puppeting. She was just hoping that the problem would end the same way...

Mephlius raised his head a bit, to glare into her eyes. As she glared back... she would not find the familiar emerald eyes. She would see cold, grey-blue eyes. He looked down to his fingernails, as they grew into claws. He looked back up at Amnity, his Emerald eyes back, and with a pleading look on his face. "H-h-help me..."

"Mephlius....." The sight made her tremble in sadness as she tried to hold back tears. She stepped closer and held his hands, looking down at them as well. "Mephlius...Calm down...Please...This isn't you." Amnity looked up at him, her eyes watering with tears. "You can fight it...Of course you can....You can control yourself..." With that, she let go of his hands and gave him a comforting hug.

Mephlius saw the tears, then felt the hug. His face turned completely blank, then slowly became a smile. After a few seconds, his fangs and claws began to shrink down. After they were completely gone, he wrapped his arms around her, and held her in the hug. "That... was close."

Amnity buried her face in his shirt, not caring that the tears were now running down her face. She was actually frightened, so frightened that she was trembling. The hunter refused to look up at him, she only held him tighter. She didn't want to look up at him, fearing that she might see those horrible ice blue eyes....It- It was only Mehlius....It was only Mephlius...

Amnity finally pulled away and wiped the tears from her eyes. She smiled lightly and shook her head. "No...There's nothing to apologize about. I'm just....Glad that you're back to your old self...."

Mephlius smiled. "Yeah, me too." He said. But he couldn't shake the feeling of his hardened fingernails. He couldn't help but feel a little hairier on his arms and legs. But he was fine, for the moment... so he didn't bother bringing it up. "Well, where should we go?"

Amnity looked around for Kuro, then found that he was no longer there. "...He ran....Should we go look for him." She turned back to Mephlius, a grin on her face. "You know....You're going to have to apologize to him too."
